Great! Don't be too nervous: Atlassian licenses are not one-time codes, you may reinstall or anything and use your license again which means removing it from staging/dev environment will never be an issue :) Have a great day. Cheers

Great! Have fun using Jira :) Cheers

Hi again, So I was probably right: the Next-Gen templates are pre-built with certain features enabled/disabled or preset for you. One of those is the permission scheme being self-managed by Jira. You might want to use regular Kanban template to prevent this from happening. Hope this helps! Cheers

Hi Anis, I would personally recommend getting some help from a local partner if you're not confident on your architecture. I would say that DataCenter would probably be the most efficient in your case but there might be alternatives with Server and tweaking (which I'm not the best expert of). Hope this helps Cheers

Hi Laura, I would definitely recommend you to get some help from the security department of your company if you have one. If not, in a few words, a Certificate Authority is an institution trusted by your network which signs certificates to stamp them as legit. Your browser will then find your certificate and check if that…

Hi Leena, Have you tried emptying the Jira Software license first, save then apply the dev license? If it's still not working I guess it's because it's been installed as commercial (with a commercial license) which means you might need to re-install? Cheers

Indeed! That being said you should be prompted on the next Screen for the type of project with a few possibilities like this: Those Next-gen template might be the reason why :/ Can you remember which Template you picked?
-
Is it possible that you may have used a new generation template to create that project? I've found those new templates preventing you from using a lot of feature (like Versions, Components...) with a few tips on what would remain available...

Hi Fernando, This unfortunately is not something easy out of the box. That being said you could easily change that by using a script if you already are familiar with ScriptRunner or PowerScript. In a free fashion, you could export all those issues into CSV and change that in Excel (will be far easier), then reimport the…

Hi, Welcome on Community! May I ask if you're an Administrator of your Jira Cloud instance? You should be a project administrator of the project you're browsing to see the menu and a global Admin to create new Permission Schemes. Thanks
-
@BRy JIRA good to know, even too late :) Hope everything is working great for you in the Silicon Valley :) Cheers
-
Thanks @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-, completely agree with you... We'll see if @Ilze Schoeman can share any feedback from Support Team (as your ticket is private by default). Cheers

Hi Werner, Boards should be backed up as well! Have you made sure the user account you use is allowed to browse the boards? Have you installed Jira Core + Software as an App or did you install the package with both to restore on this one? Hope we'll find out what's behind your issue! Cheers
-
Thanks for that addition which makes a huge difference, good to know! Cheers

Hey Daniel, Sorry I read that wrong, well it's a more advanced one which I can't answer. I'd say no, or at least not easily: never seen it. That being said there might be a way with a few modifications here and there, I'll let other help if they can! Sorry! Cheers

Did not see your post, which is a good idea as well when it doesn't need to be automated or on a regular basis! :)

Hi, Welcome on Community. As of now, Cloud allows you to import a full backup and overwrite content only ( https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-migrate-projects-from-one-jira-cloud-application-to-another-779160766.html). That being said you could have a look to alternative solutions on Atlassian Marketplace, one…

Good news: you have a month free to try it out! Also, you can activate Atlassian Access anytime, even after initial setup! Cheers

Hi Daniel, Welcome on Community! As explained here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/WikiRendererHelpAction.jspa?section=advanced , you can use the code block renderer with XML! I hope this helps! Cheers
-
That's true, or at least we have the same understanding. If you don't move to Cloud though, there are addons allowing you to enable 2FA. Hope you'll find your way! Cheers
-
Hi Thomas, Atlassian Access is a pre-bundled package of services for Cloud products. It comes with a cost and everything is explained here: https://www.atlassian.com/enterprise/cloud/access Atlassian Access includes 2FA for all products. As of now I did not see any alternative on Atlassian Marketplace. I hope it helps and…

Oh gosh... Glad you've found it out! Could have taken more time! Enjoyr the rest of your dev steps :)

True! Like the Elsa reference! Will remember it next time I have to support an Agile transition :D
-
Hey Meg! What an interesting question.. I've also found that educating people to Agile values and their meaning, the reason they were thought this way helped. That being said, sometimes people are just not open to it (let's not make a link with the average age of population here haha). The most important is always to get…

Can remember that car... :)

Great shot Sven! Thanks for sharing!

Nice to see all of this love around in this thread! Mine will be: Meeting with all the Communiteam and fellow Champions/AUG Leaders was a blast! Thanks again Stephanie for this nice shot :D

Hi Marcus, Glad to read security concerns and your questions is clearly making sense. I’m not 100% sure but I think Applinks are regularly checked in the background through the user they use, therefore might not be possible to remove it. Best idead I had for this problem (you might found better ones!), was to use my local…

Hey Ramya, Welcome on Community! You can find an official Atlassian statement on that CVE here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bamboo-questions/Bamboo-and-CVE-2018-11776-Apache-Struts-vulnerability/qaq-p/877075 Quick spoiler: no products are affected :) Hope this helps! Cheers

Hi Mario, In a few words, for Service Desk you have agents and customers. Customers are only allowed portal access to create/track requests where agents are Jira users (consuming lincense) and in charge of working with the requests. Whatever role you have in Jira, if you can work on issues then you’re considered as an…
