The External Share Power-Up does exactly what you're looking for.
-
Hey @Jordan Glassman, shoot me an email at dev@samchop.com and I'll be glad to help you debug.
-
Trello doesn't let you do that anymore because they changed how they serve their attachment files from S3. There is a Power-Up called External Share that enables this feature again.
-
I would recommend setting the filename field in your multipart/form-data payload that you send to Trello when you upload the attachment (i.e. your other function). See https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/Content-Disposition

@Rihards Donis The classic Table View Power-Up supports Custom Fields. Here's a short article on how it works.
-
Hi @Jordan Brown The classic Table View Power-Up supports almost every card field including Custom Fields. It also does not support checklists but I believe that's something I can add in the near future if there is more demand from my users. (I'm the creator of the Table View Power-Up.) Let me know if you have any…

Hi @Kym Kraljevic and @Ian Mitchell Not for the workspace table, but the classic Table View Power-Up supports Custom Fields. Here's a short article on how it works.

Hi @Michelle Murchan Check out the Table View Power-Up if you're looking for a similar experience to a spreadsheet.

You can perform bulk updates using the Table View Power-Up: https://trello.com/power-ups/61f4c0464f8522341a806b89/table-view-spreadsheet-and-bulk-actions It's handy because it also allows you to search and filter for specific cards. It's free to use for 7 days and it'll cost only $1 per month - which is significantly…

I know this is a bit late but just in case for another who lands on this thread looking to learn about bulk updates in Trello. You can perform bulk updates using the Table View Power-Up: https://trello.com/power-ups/61f4c0464f8522341a806b89/table-view-spreadsheet-and-bulk-actions It's handy because it also allows you to…

Hi @[deleted], check out the Table View Power-Up!
-
Hi @Debbie Deknight, I just released the Table View Power-Up which also supports bulk actions but also comes with a bunch of neat filtering and sorting features! Check it out if the Bulk Actions Power-Up continues to not load for you.

As a third-party developer, you're not and won't be affiliated with Trello or Atlassian. The only way to get that message to say that you are is to get a job at Atlassian, join the Trello team, then set a flag on your app key to mark it as first-party. 😅 I believe it's a little security measure they take so that people…

Hi @s4nk, unfortunately, we can't get this functionality with a Power-Up 😔

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/quick-cards-for-trello/kbcaloiloopinbimkfnhdlonaeloppmf I made this thing free - don't mind the "free trial" text - it'll always say 30 days left lol

Hi @Robyn Towning, check out the External Share Power-Up: https://trello.com/power-ups/60d93bb780ee244d5d2b1edd/external-share Here's an example of a shared board created by the Power-Up: https://trll.io/p0iyaN2Y1o/demo?pwd=UEeidwMmVfmBvhKx

@Martin Purmensky I really appreciate the kind words! I'm glad my Tiny Power-Ups are useful! I've added .doc, .xls, and .ppt to the supported extensions list of Office File Viewer. Let me know if it works for you! Regarding your external share, it is also extremely helpful. If there is any way to keep the upload date when…

Yup, the File Manager Power-Up should do the trick although I wonder if it can handle that manager files since we have an upper limit on our bulk download. I'd be willing add support for larger bulk downloads for paying members though. ;)
-
My bad! I should have made it a bit more clear. We currently have two billing options: * Individual membership where you pay $1 per month then your Trello account has unlimited access to all of our Power-Ups on all boards. If other team members or board members try to use it they'll be prompted to get a membership of their…

Hi @Justin quinn and @Julie Herczeg, I just released a Trello Power-Up that re-enables previewing of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint documents: https://trello.com/power-ups/61bd1b71e0984756b13f7696

Oh right, it seems like I didn't read your entire post properly. I could probably whip up a Power-Up that does this and release it as a part of the Tiny Power-Ups Club suite. Say if I did go ahead and build it, would you be willing to pay $1 per month (per member) for such a Power-Up? This $1 per month also gets you all of…
-
I think you can do this by using the Butler/Automation feature and Custom Fields. 1. Create a date custom field called "Completed On". 2. Create a new rule with the "when the due date is marked as complete in a card" trigger and use the "set date custom field _____ to now" action.
-
@Martin Purmensky Now, I need to preview Excel files as I was able to do within Trello, not downloading them, like I have to now. Is there a subscription for that? I just released the Office File Viewer Power-Up which lets you preview .xlsx, .docx, and .pptx files directly in Trello. It is a part of our Tiny Power-Ups…

Do you have any Chrome extensions that might be overriding stylesheets (CSS)?

Hi @Sydney Kohm, check out the File Manager Power-Up: https://trello.com/power-ups/60bd32bfc2fcaf094b4a9d49/file-manager It's free to use for 7 days and then it'll cost $1 per month. I'm actually the creator of the Power-Up so happy to answer any questions.
-
All you need is a bit of HTML and JavaScript to make a useful Power-Up.
-
Hey, Martin! I'm the creator of the External Share and Tiny Power-Ups. I can say for sure that I don't work for Atlassian or Trello. I'm probably not good enough of an engineer for them. The External Share Power-Up was created before Trello made the change to prevent you from sharing file attachment URLs directly. If…

Unfortunately, that's not something I can control since the Trello OAuth API has very limited support for scoping. @Michael Pryor and @bentley any chance you guys could push for better API scoping?
