Raising a teenager versus work practices: introduction by @Walter Buggenhout because it's such a unique perspective! https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Teamwork-Lab-articles/Raising-a-teenager-versus-work-practices-introduction/ba-p/1859814

Never heard of Jira in virtual reality environment! Oh wow!
-
I thought I can't remember it, but I did! In one of my previous jobs, I was responsible for assessing bugs before passing them over to Tech. We used Mantis Bugtracker system for that, which worked great. After a couple of years turned out that some teams don't use Mantis anymore, but they have this new system called Jira.…

I just finished Hackathon with people I have never worked with before. We were all new to each other, most of us new to the topic. It felt very refreshing and positive - everybody was happy to help, when we discussed challenges, people jumped to offer help each other even without being asked. That feels like a healthy team!
-
Just checking, you want us to really email to your personal gmail address and not atlassian one, @Christine P. Dela Rosa ?
-
Like this idea!
-
If every single person likes you, you're a bad Scrum Master.
-
@Bill Sheboy , do you have some concern about the content in the posts? You've got me curious
-
Just because I like to be a devil's advocate :D Great suggestions from Christine, which do work if everybody in the team is on the same page and have time and possibilities to follow up and read all this information. If the company is doing LOADS of communication and it's all/most async, there is a very high chance of…

One of my fav is playing Jackbox games together
-
The answer depends on how you're working together with the designers. Are they part of your teams? Are they working on the sprints together? Or is it more waterfall and you need design before starting the implementation?
-
Some feedback - if you didn't work for the company before the pandemic, it's hard to answer to the questions asking to compare how was it before. There is also no option to skip those questions (at least I didn't notice it).
-
This is awesome! I was wondering the other day when the recording will come out. I'm super amazed and impressed how honest everybody is re: sharing their opinions / experience / story how it all started. Great transparency - thanks for this!
-
Q: what's your experience with implementing LeSS?
-
Dear Work Therapist Q&A!
-
@Suvradip Paul , I was asking for my own benefit and hijacking your thread, sorry :D
-
An easier answer - ask the team!
-
On the same note, do you have any energiser / teambuilding activity (max 15min), which would be useful to introduce one team mindset?
-
Not a content question, but is there a plan to have these sessions available also in CET timezone? 11pm isn't really feasible, yet I'd love to listen some of the future ones live. Much appreciated!
-
Thanks everybody! As it was just once-a-time request, I won't be purchasing additional apps for it. Together with a colleague, we tried to get the info via Actionable Agile, but unfortunately it had some bugs and the exported CSV file didn't have all the info. I've meanwhile just addressed the topic as an observation in…

A colleague sent an email saying he'll be leaving the company, but happy to catch up beforehand. So I said 'let's have an online coffee' He 'Sure, but I'll be on holiday, please send an invite to my private email' Me 'I'm not gonna bother you during your holiday! Let's catch up when you're back, on LinkedIN'

I'm very sorry to say, but if somebody is assigning you a story to work on, then you aren't working agile at all. In agile, nobody can assign a story to you, except yourself.
-
Oh wow, that's indeed something else! I remember feeling like that in one of my previous roles, I loved everything about it and took loads of additional tasks. You could also ask to your team what do THEY think you're the best at, so you can focus on those and give other tasks where you're a tiny bit less good, to those…
-
I start with a simple question - Am I excited waking up and starting my work day? Does my work energise me and I want to do it? Or is the idea of just another working week/day already giving you a headache? Of course, there might be more reasons for not liking your job and not only work overload, but it's a good start,…
-
Who is assigning those issues to you? Can you talk with the team about why do you have this procedure in the place at all?
-
Can your team members work on the stories you might not have time to finish? By 'assigning' stories to team members already in the beginning of the sprint, you take away the idea of teamwork. Ideally, all the team members should be able to help each other to move the stories further, so they aren't assigned to only one…

Yes! You can use the add-on 'create from template'
-
@Daniel Ebers , thanks , I didn't realise it's an add-on, but you seem to be right, I can find it under 'apps'. I can't find a name of it, I see it only as 'Create from template'. I'll ask my IT Helpdesk which vendor it is and how to get in touch with them.
-
It lets you create & use story templates, so your team members can easier remember filling all the info (we've added 'as a user, i want..., so...' and headers like 'screenshots', 'url' etc.)
-
A colleague helped me and it's now solved! For those interested, this is the query I used in the end: project = RA AND ("Epic Link" != RA-1111 or "Epic Link" is EMPTY) ORDER BY Rank ASC
