Thanks for the heads up @Tinker Fadoua ! Hopefully, we'll see a new event posted for this soon :)
-
Thanks @Tinker Fadoua I had a great time. Here are some links regarding one of our topics from last night: In regards to Jira version compatibility with other Atlassian tools you generally only need to be concerned in two areas: Are all my Jira product versions compatible?…

@John Fisher If they were in the last column of the board when the sprint was closed and subsequently reopened after the sprint was closed, they should have returned to the backlog as an open ticket. From a technical perspective, I'm sure there is a way to accomplish this, with a workflow plugin like Jira Misc Workflow…

I think I have a taco sticker from heyTaco app that you have have @Billy Poggi AUG NOVA_ DC ;)

@Elise Carmichael could you please provide a screenshot or two to help demonstrate your question?
-
Hi @Dan Casados Here is the documentation that explains why items get assigned to Later Release. It is likely that you are seeing one of the scenarios described.
-
@Jenny Miller sorry about that! I had an extra space at the end of the URL. Please try it again.
-
@Yousaf could you please explain the steps you performed to try and make this field required? Also, if you could provide a screenshot of the field configuration scheme and the name of the request type that doesn't work and the name of a request type that works, that may be helpful.

@tony cameraman please check out this previously answered question to see if it resolves your question: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Answers-Developer-Questions/How-to-release-a-version-using-REST-api/qaq-p/563559

@Jenny Miller there are two good possible answers to your question in a previous user's post. check it out here and let me know if this resolves your issue: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/I-can-only-create-quot-agility-quot-projects/qaq-p/719919

It was my pleasure! It was a great time and I was so happy to see everyone there.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event last night! As promised here are the slides: Slide Deck - Agile Boards in Jira Are For Everyone Also, I mentioned an upcoming Modus Create blog article that was coming out soon...you don't have to wait any longer because it is now posted! check it out: Modus Blog: Do You Know…

@jblue For #1, you can try to use the date the issue was resolved, assuming your sub-tasks' resolution is set at the same time the ticket is moved to your "Done" status. So something similar to the following: issuetype in subTaskIssueTypes() and resolved > startOfDay(-1) and resolved < startOfDay() For #2 this may be a…

Hi @Matias Montes are you talking about the global sidebar? You can expand this area to see the full text of each option. See here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/navigate-projects-with-the-sidebar-937886040.html

@QA McCann if you just need the user to be able to comment internally, you may not need to make them a service desk agent. here is how you do it: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/setting-up-service-desk-users-732528877.html#Settingupservicedeskusers-limitedInvolveJiraSoftwareorJiraCoreusers
-
You can also use the clear field value post function
-
Romanella - Joe is spot on with his answer here. The types of notifications you wish to get rid of for tickets where you are the Reporter can really only be changed by the notification scheme. To reduce Jira email notifications for other people's tickets you are getting, checkout this…

Hi Toby - you should be able to do this by just putting both of your status values in the same list for Status Changed To. See below where I have adjusted your second query to make it work. As long as you are using the same During dates for those statuses, this will work fine. project = A1 AND status changed TO ("In…

Alsa - If just stop doing the following step you mentioned: "I first give them access to Jira Service Desk under User Management." and ONLY perform the second step "I add them to the Jira Service Desk project with the Service Desk Team project role using the People settings." then you should achieve your goal. As long as…
-
I don't believe this is possible. I know it is kind of a pain but I would suggest just cloning the issue and then deleting the original.
-
HI Alsa - I just did a quick test to confirm that I am able to go to a specific service desk project and add a Jira Software user to the Service Desk Team project role and that user now has access to view/comment/attach items to issues in the project. I confirmed that this just was not auto-added to the list of service…

If these users are already Jira Software or Jira Core users you have a few options here. Here is probably the best option: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/setting-up-service-desk-users-732528877.html#Settingupservicedeskusers-limitedInvolveJiraSoftwareorJiraCoreusers

Here is a really nice article to help answer this question: https://moduscreate.com/blog/jira-using-epics-vs-components-vs-labels/

@Billy Poggi AUG NOVA_ DC For Food in the area here are some options we have used for the office in the past: * Lebanese Taverna - Very good option to mix it up a little bit. See the catering menu. * Le Pain Quotidien - Bakery & Communal Table - Good selection of sandwiches and salads

OK if you are on Jira Cloud than the link I provided above should be your guide to permisisons. You can try to use the permission helper and enter the user ID of a user that should not have the "manage sprints" permission to see if they do or don't.…
-
Manage Sprints permission should have done it for you. Are you using JIRA cloud or server? https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-project-permissions-776636362.html
