Hello @Dave Symonds , This might seem obvious but have you checked that the assignee field isn't empty on the issues you are targetting ?
-
Hello @Razmik Mikayelyan , You can achieve that by doing a csv import of issues in Jira which includes all of your field values, and selecting the option for adding the unknown values at the existing ones. Let me know if it helps, Guilhem

Hi @Saudamini Deshmukh , You can indeed achieve that using a post function, that you would execute at the creation of a new issue. You may need to download the following add-on (Scriptrunner) which will give you access to new post functions such as the "Clear field value" post function, that you are going to need to…

Hi @AdamN , Unfortunately, to my knowledge Jira doesn't include such a functionnality. But you can maybe use a workaround; for instance let's imagine that you number the different items of your Sprint Goal from 1 to X. Then, if you create a custom field that you add to your issue (or ticket) screens, you will be able to…

Hi @Bruno Pontes , As far as I know, there is no way to synchronise these 2 views to avoid reordering them manually in the Board view; However, you could build a workaround like playing with the priorities of the subtask, and ordering your Board view by priority, but you will then loose the possibility to reorder manually…

Hi @Satish Kumar , If you want to start using Jira and need to migrate your former projects to Jira, I recommend you to contact an Atlassian Partner to guide you through the process. You can find the list of all available Atlassian Partners from the following link : https://partnerdirectory.atlassian.com/ Hope it helps,…

Hi @Andy Gladstone ! Welcome to the Atlassian community, Here are a few options that I would advise to get started with Trello : * First, there is the Trello help which gathers a few tutoriels that you can access here. * Then, the Trello youtube videos which can guide you through its different functionalities : from there.…
-
Hi @Wang Rui To my knowledge, this can't be done in Jira; the corresponding JQL operator is "CHANGED" but it only works with a few native Jira fields.
-
Hi @Tom Foster , I'm not sur of what you did exactly, did your release in Jira the version these issues where associated with ? In order to make the tasks disappear, you need to change their status to mark them as "Done", and then close the Sprint. This issues will then still be stored in Jira (you'll still be able to…
-
Hi @Agata Puchalska , Unfortunately, this functionality is a default in Jira Software and there is no way to edit it to my knowledge; The first column to the left of your Kanban will be the one you can automatically transition your issues to from the Workflow.`
-
Hi @Ye Fung Tchen , You need to have a jira administrator access to implement this, however I'm not sure about what you mean by licensed accounts. You can indeed forward mails from several email addresses to the main one, and even though i'm not sure you can distinguish them by color you can do it by setting different…
-
Hi @Thomas , Unfortunately, the reports can be runned by any user who has access to the project and you can't restrict that. The only option around this problem would be to create an Issue Security Scheme which allows users to see only the issues assigned to them, so that they will only be able to run reports on the data…
-
Hi @Krzysztof Kubajka , You can achieve this by going to your Jira search a cessible using the search menu at the top of your screen. From there, tap enter, then click on "Complex Search". Using the following JQL, you should retrieve your tasks completed in the last month : status = Done AND resolutiondate >=…
-
Hi @Tal Ben Avram Unfortunately, there are only 3 possible hierarchy levels in Jira : Epic, Tasks/Stories and all other issue types, and subatsks. To my knowledge, you can't add more into your projects. You can only visualize other hierarchy levels through addons like BigPicture or Structure, but they won't have an impact…
-
Then I'm out of ideas, in case it's a bug from Atlassian's part you can raise an issue to their support help desk : https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
-
You could try this JQL : resolved > -27w AND resolved >= -26w Or with this alternative JQL (for the same result) : resolutiondate > -27w AND resolutiondate >= -26w
-
Actually, what jira calls "resolved" doesn't depend on the issue status, but on this "Resolution" field I was talking about. If you can see something written where my circle is, it means a resolution is set. To avoid setting a resolution, you probably have to ask your jira admin to edit the Workflow to delete the…
-
Hi @Esther Amunga , It's a classic problem, hopefully you've done most of the work by copying and adjusting the Workflow and you just miss the ultimate step :) You simply have to go to your jira Settings (cog on the top right) => Issues => Workflow Schemes and find the Workflow scheme associated to your Service project…

jj Hi @Jason Selby , It tested something like this on my instance and it works : For the trigger, you could use something like this, with the embedded jQL request : And then send an email to an address you specify, like on this example : Let me know if it helps, Guilhem
-
Hi @Mohamed Haj Hamido , Actually, the only condition is that the issues are not resolved, which means that the field "Resolution" is empty. You can check that easily from the Jira search. Let me know if it helps, Guilhem
-
Hey @Ye Fung Tchen , You could achieve that using Jira mail handlers, that allow you to create issues based on mails. From there, Jira will automatically create issues where the Title of the email becomes the issue summary, and the email content the description. For each mail handler, you can also define a default…
-
Hi @Federico Santacruz , Unfortunately, to me knowledge there is no way to create a request based on a percentage of time remaining :/ However, the JQL request will be harder to create but you can use the "OR" function in order to combine different cases where you define the SLA limit on hours. It would give something like…
-
Okay, then to my knowledge this won't be possible unfortunately
-
Hi @Zach Warf , It is because you are using a Team Managed project; this type of projects have a whole different way to manage automations that is more limited than the Company Managed projects :/
-
Hello @Sofia Quintero , This is because in JSM projects, a request type is associated to an issue type. Hence for a given issue type, you have a list of one or several available "request type" options, which is different for every issue type. When you change the issue type of your issue, the "request type" field is not…
-
Ok, from my experience I've been to a few thousands lines for sure.
-
Hi @Zach Warf , Does your rule look like this : With the value of your field being copied form "Parent issue", which is not default parameter ? If yes, then can you can check from your project settings > issue types that your "Subtask" issue task is really considered as a Subtask issue task. You'll know it is if you get…
-
Hi @L Chaptal , If you're looking for a JQL query that returns the issues where more than 1 value is selected in the field (the multi value one), as far as I know, there is no JQL query for for that. However, there could be a workaround if you only have a few available values in this field, How many possible values does…

Hello @Tony Tohme , As far as I know, there is no Jira search that will allow you to do that, A workaround could be to export your issues Data to an Excel file, then look for duplicate issues, and then delete them from Jira. If you have only a few thousand tickets to process this should be quite quick !
