Hi Franz, In Bitbucket server/datacenter you can build your own repository reviewer groups - https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/reviewer-groups-for-pull-requests-1064084872.html and add them as reviewers when you create the pull request as you have already implemented. Declaring reviewer groups as default…

Hello Dhiraj, Welcome to the community! I hope I can help: The request authorization header can be * "Bearer: <bearer_token>" or * "Basic: <base64(<username>:<access_token>)>" If you try to send the same curl request with `curl -u "<username:accessToken>" .....` you should get the Auth header for free. Good luck and let me…

Thanks Nic! I think the problem is that PvV apps don't show their pricing on their MP listing. Bitbucket cloud apps are forced to use PvV - see BCLOUD-21373 The MP UX for PvV apps leaves visitors in the dark about app pricing. They have to install the app to see the app subscription page!!! Cheers, Ulrich // Izymes.

Is there a preview of the updated Bitbucket Cloud REST API available for developers? As a connect app vendor - how can we best count all members of the workspace that currently have 'Collaborator' status? When the collaborator role is deprecated how do we count active users where the result is the same count as Bitbucket's…

Interesting. What numbers should we aim for in status and transition count? High or low?

Hi Chase, +1 for your request. I do miss this feature, too. What I usually end up doing in BB Cloud is to go to repo > branches and find the branch(es) with the most recent updates on top of the list. From there I do create a pull request. Not ideal as you still need to locate the repository... Best, Ulrich // Izymes

I came across a similar issue and filed https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/ECOHELPPUB-37 - however Atlassian stated that the affected endpoints were internal.

Hello bb_admin, To enforce merge conditions you need to check Branch restrictions > Merge settings > Prevent a merge with unresolved checks (premium) In the settings list this will look like this Your screenshot does not show the enforced option enabled. Please try to enable it and see if that works for you. Best, Ulrich…

Hi Andre, first thing that comes to mind is to use git add, git commit and git push to add a directory to a BB repository. The commands can run as a script if you need to automate. However I'm not sure about your specific use-case. Best, Ulrich // Izymes

Hello Michal, if I understand this correctly the user has used their password as their login username? This could be an issues as an Atlassian ID is created when the user first logs into Bitbucket. For the user with the password id: * Delete the Atlassian ID account (or ask Atlassian support to delete it, if it can't be…

Hello Mounika, I would like to expand on @Michael Rüegg _Mibex Software_ suggestion. Workzone for Bitbucket supports Bitbucket reviewers groups as well as Active directory groups. The active directory or Bitbucket user directory is built for organising users in groups... no need to duplicate group membership with Bitbucket…

I poked about a bit and what I think is different is that Merged pull requests are now immutable :=) * you cant change the title or description * you can't Un-approve or approve post merge Looks like you can still leave comments.

Thanks for posting this question. I would love an explanation too.

You could change the project name in Project settings from 'MyProject' to 'MyProject_OBSOLETE' The project key can remain the same. Hope it helps. Best, Ulrich // Izymes - Tools for efficient teams

Hi Jay, To be able to control how pull requests are merged, you should enabled enforced merge checks (Bitbucket premium). You can set the number of required approvals to "1" and nobody can merge the pull request unless 1 reviewer (other than the author) has approved the PR. Author approvals don't count towards the quota.…

Please have a look at the Bitbucket/Pipelines REST API https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/bitbucket/rest/api-group-pipelines/#api-repositories-workspace-repo-slug-pipelines-config-put I couldn't find a detailed data model, but I suppose you can fetch an existing config…

Fair enough. Good luck!

I guess the first thing to do is have a look in the Bitbucket server logs to see if anything is missing. If you had an instance with the internal H2 DB you need a manual upgrade to a new format . Let us know your findings. Ulrich // Izymes

Hi Johnathan, you're mixing Bitbucket cloud (bitbucket.org/...) with Bitbucket server/datacenter (yourdomain.com/....) Bitbucket cloud (Atlassian hosts) is a different implementation with a different REST API compared to Bitbucket server/Datacenter (you host) Here are the respective REST APIs Server/DC…

Hi Philip, welcome to the community! I understand you need some clarification on 'git push'. I think the sentence should be like "Push the specified branch to the remote repository, along with all of the necessary commits and internal objects. This creates a local branch in the remote destination repository ...." Fast…

Hello Radhika, According to the REST API docs there is no single endpoint to fetch or restore all settings. Repo settings endpoints are divided up into different aspects such as pull request settings: /rest/api/1.0/projects/{projectKey}/repos/{repositorySlug}/settings/pull-requests repo hooks:…

As an agent you can click on "View issue in portal" In the portal view you can invite others by email

Hello Geetha, I understand that you want to check for a successful build on branch (pattern) level, not on repository level before the PR merge button is enabled. We have come across the same problem and have created an app that can be installed in Bitbucket to do exactly that and more. With Workzone you can specify merge…
-
Hello Geetha, welcome to the community! Could you please specify which Bitbucket hosting type (cloud or datacenter/server) you are using? I can then try to help with more specific advice. Thanks in advance, Ulrich // Izymes

I'd be keen to learn if this can be resolved. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing. This is a great write-up! Here is a community category that you can use for apps and integrations: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Apps-Integrations/ct-p/atlassian-marketplace which is monitored by folks keen to learn about apps. The 'Bitbucket' category here is as good, but focuses more on core…

We love this feature! I tried it out yesterday. Experienced once small glitch- after adding space for a user in the table contents weren't updated. I had to refresh the page.

Hi Waquar, you may be better off posting the question in the developer community https://community.developer.atlassian.com/c/bitbucket-development/12 Make sure to include code snippets and links to the Bitbucket Java API that you're intending to use.
-
Unfortunately there is none. Here is a feature request https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-22013 for the Bitbucket team to implement this. It would be good to add the 'task created' event into the webhook event space.
