Love your question! It's a common pain point for larger teams that maintain multiple projects and repositories. To cut straight to the chase, YES there is an app for that :D, You can use Organizr with all versions of Bitbucket Datacenter. With Organizr you can 'group' PRs in a few ways in Bitbucket * add a PR label to each…

Hi Dan I understand that your team uses repo forks to complete work and then merge it to the upstream main repo via pull requests. That's a very common pattern and you would expect that once all merge-checks are completed, the PR should be auto-merged. This is a common pattern for many enterprise teams - and so we have…

It must be just me who can't talk Rovo into creating tasks or stories in Jira (JST-1132733)
-
Can you share a few more details? What does the merge-check panel look like? What are your repository's branch restrictions configurations?
-
Hi @Jessy Giacomoni I concur with @Patrik S - merge-checks can be enforced by subscribing to the Bitbucket premium plan (USD3 extra per user per month). This will give you confidence that all merge conditions are met and pass before the PR can be merged. Depending on the size of your team, Workzone for Bitbucket…

I just tried again, Rovo still can't create issues
-
Thanks for the tip! Yes, all apps and google docs are connected.
-
Yes - I certainly do have these permissions, I created an epic manually, just to see if Rovo could populate it with stories, but that wasn't working either.

Hi @Paul Stein few things to look out for * use atlas-mvn and not mvn, this makes sure you pull in the right maven settings.xml * pom.xml: > the plugin generator populates these with 'wrong' values <bitbucket.version>9.4.0</bitbucket.version> <osgi.javaconfig.version>0.6.0</osgi.javaconfig.version> Remove <dependency>…

BTW, if you change your mind re apps, we've got a solution that will solve all your problems.
-
If well-designed and tested apps are not for you, you can set the auto-decline (forgotten) period in BB repo settings and then add a webhook that signals your external system when the PR 'declined' event occurs.

"Thou shalt ne’er approve thine own changes."

Hi @Aurora Tiffany-Davis , you are absolutely correct. Code Owners for Bitbucket server and cloud provide one way to add members of groups to pull request via a file-based .codeowners configuration file. Bitbucket server/DC has another way of configuring reviewer groups via a repo configuration UI, but that's not available…

Looking forward to meet you guys!

Hey @Andy Gladstone thanks for the feedback! Nothing more rewarding than someone finding an app useful. You made my day. Now, if you find anything that could be improved, drop us a comment here :) @Sean Manwarring _Izymes_ has more goodies (err feature blog posts) lined up for the coming weeks.

I recommend using the Atlassian DC performance toolkit - https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/dc-apps-performance-toolkit-user-guide-bitbucket/ Obviously you don't need to follow the steps to set up a test cluster, since you're measuring the existing against the new AWS cluster. All you have to do is run…

We started using Released.Roadmaps and it's super easy to set up, publish and incorporate in our site. Big applause to @Jens Schumacher - Released_so and team for making this available.

Can you please post a link or explanation on how MP vendors are supposed to create, sign and release apps with Certificate Authority (CA) from Atlassian to MP?
-
Hi Sheshachandra, I understand that you are syncing the pull request source branch with the target branch, while a PR is in progress and approvals have already been submitted. ... And you are correct, since rebasing is not an effective code change, why are approvals revoked? From the Git point of view it is much easier to…

Install Auto Unapprove for Bitbucket Data Center - and you should be sorted.

Hi @Júlio César Fonseca Costa I understand that if you enable the 'enforce merge check' option, PRs can't be merged, even by users that have branch merge permission. There is a way to achieve this with the Workzone app we have made for BB Cloud. With the correct setup any user with PR merge branch permission can merge a…

OK - I wonder why Atlassian has this restriction! I will check with Atlassian and let you know.
-
In your Bitbucket repository (Merge) settings you can configure a merge-check where you can specify how many commits your PR source branch can be behind master, which would be zero for your use case. Bitbucket will then block merging this PR (if you have a Bitbucket cloud premium subscription) or at least show a warning on…

Your script JSM content goes directly into the <script ......></script> placeholder in atlassian-plugin.xml No extra files needed.

Hi John, totally agree with you, CODEOWNERS only solves one side of the equation. Let me know if you're open to try Workzone for premium enterprise reviewer and merge control as mentioned above. Cheers Ulrich

Great to have Ex-Atlassians drive and help the ecosystem, from the eco-system end that is :+) What a blessing to have the ex-head of ecosystem join the ecosystem! Looking forward to your insights and comments here, Nick. Cheers Ulrich

>> Do you see the missing branch by selecting 'All branches' in the dropdown?

Hi Pramada I don't believe there is such a merge check that comes with Bitbucket cloud natively. The good news is that Bitbucket cloud supports custom merge-checks based on the Atlassian Forge platform. You can write the merge-check exactly to your specifications and use it in your workspace. Since you're on a premium plan…

Hi Victoria! Welcome to the community! Bitbucket by default lists 'Active' branches for the repository. After the migration you may just have one active branch like 'main'. Do you see the missing branch by selecting 'All branches' in the dropdown? Best, Ulrich // Izymes

Could you please clarify whether you are looking for advice on Bitbucket Datacenter (self-hosted) or Bitbucket Cloud, or both? You can change the 'Tags' on your post accordingly, so it will get directed into the right channels. Cheers, Ulrich
