ATM there are no custom merge checks. It's a very powerful feature which many developers and app vendors have requested/voted for. Please add your comments and vote here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-19885 Appreciate your support.

The best option to stop a PR merge under a certain condition would be to create a configurable merge-check. The merge-check would scan the change set in the source branch and detect any condition you configure. Unfortunately this is not possible with bitbucket cloud branch permissions - however there is an existing feature…

I hope you are enjoying Organizr. Let us know if you have any questions or suggestions.
-
you'll have to use this url {BASE_URL}/rest/api/1.0/projects/{projectKey}/repos Hope that helps.
-
Unfortunately not, Mark.

Hi Mark, Bitbucket Server aka Stash and Bitbucket cloud are 2 different products with 2 completely different REST APIs. Any client written to work with Bitbucket Server will not work as the URL paths will be completely different. I would expect you will get a 404 not found HTML page as a response which cannot be parsed.…

@Biro - I loved your demo, liked it and thought it's very original. However I feel this page here is a neutral page and IMHO should not contain voting instructions.
-
You may be referring to a Bitbucket server feature, however the tags on this post suggest you're on BBCloud. Can you confirm?

Congrats, Gorka. This is a big milestone!

Thanks for sharing. This is valuable content!

Agree with @Anita Laughter - can be a huge time saver. Does it support template inheritance. Would save time when creating related templates.
-
Very interesting!
-
@Khawla Issaoui Creativas - your 'book a demo' link has a %20 at the beginning - won't work if you click on it.

Great video and demo!

Looks great!

Most of the documentation has a switch to toggle between Cloud and Server/DC on the page. For example on https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/jira-issues-in-vs-code/ the cloud version is pre-selected (1) Once you select the server version from the dropdown (2) you will see the server relevance document.

Hi - even though I don't know the answer I suggest you also post your question in the bitbucket cloud developer forum https://community.developer.atlassian.com/c/bitbucket-development/bitbucket-cloud/13 Best, Ulrich www.izymes.com

Hi Vaski, obviously the built-in merge-checks can't do what you need. You can follow steps on the documentation page by adding a merge check by way of adding an app. Some of them are free like "Better Commit Policy for Bitbucket" and you can configure the merge check once it is installed. I personally haven't tried them…

As far as I know Bitbucket repository reviewer groups are for adding reviewers to new pull requests. Bitbucket repository merge-checks 'minimum approvals' is checked against all reviewers that are on the PR. If you want group specific approval quota(s) you need to use an app like Workzone for Bitbucket that allows you to…

Thanks for sharing. Just for clarity, is a business process similar to the familiar Jira workflow steps? Would I be able to create a business process with a linear sequence of workflow steps?
-
I have quickly searched the BSERV project, but not found anything. You can create an feature request there.
-
Great article, especially the integration checklist. Thanks for sharing!
-
If you have git installed you can clone the repository(s) and run a command like $ git log --oneline --pretty=format:"%h,%an,%ai,%s" which gives you a CSV style output which you can process further.
-
Hi Kristin, not sure about 'branch history' - what's your definition of it? If you mean the git commit-history, that's kept in intact when you push your repository to the new remote (bitbucket cloud). Hope I was able to help.
-
Hi Maheswar, that's an interesting scenario, in fact it is quite common. While I can't supply a script that does exactly what you need, your requirement consists of 2 basic steps, 1. If a certain file path is part of a pull request changeset, add a mandatory reviewer. 2. Before the pull request can be merged, the mandatory…
