  • @Stephen AldridgeThank you so much. Please stay tuned for updates.
  • Hi @Rudy Holtkamp Yes, you’ll be able to show and hide the projects in the left sidebar. The sidebar will remember your last settings. For example, if you “unfolded” your projects, the sidebar will continue to unfold these until you “fold” them.
  • Hi @Rune Rasmussen We’ve focused the top navigation on essential tasks, like search and create, with easy access to global utilities like Notifications, Help, Settings, and Profile/Account. The only icons on the top navigation are these utility icons (no change from today’s experience). What we mean by decluttering is…
  • Hi @Tomislav Tobijas We’ve kicked off the EAP this week and it’s available only to a small cohort of sites. We’ll open up another round of EAP soon, which will be open to all. The GA launch for new navigation is planned for early to mid 2025. We’ll keep you posted on the exact dates closer to the release. Re: Confluence…
  • @Rimantas Andrulevičius The top navigation disappears when you select the below tabs in a project: * Reports * Releases * Project pages Whereas the top navigation moves to the bottom of the page when you select the Security tab in your project. This is unintended behavior and a known issue with the Chrome extension.
  • @Raphael Lopes The new navigation via Chrome extension doesn't support the display of the menu items for Apps. We're exploring this further.
  • We've put out a post to show clear visual changes of the current navigation and the new navigation via the Chrome extension here. Check it out and let us know what you'd like covered, your use cases, and other insights.
  • @Ayelet Ben-Tzur Thank you for pointing that out. Another pathway to go to Advanced search would be to go to Search and select View all issues at the bottom of the menu. The reason to call it View all issues is only to ensure there's consistency across all paths leading to Advanced search in the product. Read more here.
  • @Yong Yang Thank you for your feedback. * The app might be showing incorrectly because there may be a mix between Connect and Forge apps, and that's messing with the response data. We'll take a look at this for the apps you've highlighted and get back to you. I can't see the app right after Xray. Can you help with the…
  • @Ismail Sanni Firstly, thank you for giving it a go. Given this is an experiment, we’ve rolled out a limited set of features. We’ve not enabled Project settings for this experiment, and that's why you're not able to find it for JSM projects. * To use Project settings, you can turn off the extension to use it. Note: You can…
  • @Yatish Madhav Thank you for your insights! We'll be doing a comparison post for the old vs new navigation (via Chrome extension) on the Navigation refresh group. Be sure to watch that space for more info and comment what you'd like to see more of.
  • @Ree Kent We haven't implemented the new navigation for JPD yet. If you're using JPD, we recommend turning off the toggle for the extension. Please see this article for limitations and identified issues.
  • @Yatish Madhav The extension is just altering the Jira UI, showing the same navigation options but in a different way. The extension has to make API calls but will not change the state of the Jira page. Thank you for signing up! :D
