Sorry I missed you comments while I was on vacation @G subramanyam @Mike Villis. Happy New Year and thanks for the comments! Keen to get your feedback when you get your hands on whiteboards :)

Thanks for the epic feedback, @Andrew Kendris ! Visualize Child Issues: Issues can be dragged and dropped from one parent issue to another and have that sync back to Jira Love this idea (as well as your others, too). We've played around with something related to this in the past. Might be worth us going a bit deeper.…

@Svajunas Gaina great question. I'd assume we'd respect any form of parent-child relationship, which would include those in Advanced Roadmaps. @Natalie Johnson (design lead), our eng feature lead and I will need to dig into this more on our side.

Thanks @Bowan Spanbroek Re; real-time sync, we'd definitely expect for any link created in Fabric to update in Jira in almost real-time.
-
Epic feedback, @Bowan Spanbroek 🙏 Some questions: The bi-directional sync is essential for Smart Categories - wouldn't use it without that. We would not use it if the syncing had issues or was slow. What does "bi-directional sync" mean for you here? Just that when an issue was dragged into a Smart Section, it immediately…

@[deleted] great thoughts! Thanks. Really love the idea of having a way to group ideas/work items. We'll have to have a think about that.

@Andrei Tuch @Svajunas Gaina @Bowan Spanbroek @Nick Wozniak @Francis Batilo @Andrew Kendris @Austin Churchill @[deleted] would love your take on some of the concept's @Natalie Johnson shared in the Loom video above 🙏

Hey @Step! Thanks for reaching out. The card and embed states are disabled if the Smart Link is inserted within some content types (e.g. a list). If you hover over the greyed out options, a tooltip with an explanation should show. Is this the case? If not, please let me know and we'll investigate further :) Cheers, Jonno

Hey @Jaime Capitel ! Confluence is working on reducing the difference between the view and edit states by bringing the page tree into the editor. We don't currently have anything to share about having an always editable state like you've suggested.

Hey @Tobias Peter, thanks for the feedback. So that we can improve, would you be happy to share the missing features you’re looking for, and what you use them for? You can reach me at jkatahanas@atlassian.com. Thanks 🙂
-
Hey @David Washburn! This is purely an update to the configuration and browsing experience. We don’t currently have plans to update macros.
-
Hey @Hubert and @[deleted]! This new experience will only be in our cloud products for now. There are no current plans to have it elsewhere. I’ll pass your feedback onto the DC team 🙂
-
Hey @[deleted]! Thanks for the feedback. Not having a save button is something we’ll be monitoring. As we move towards a more modern, WYSIWYG editor, providing real-time updates to macros is a common ask from customers. It’s also a common design pattern many SaaS apps are moving towards (e.g. Figma). That said, it’s an…
-
@Rump, Matthias unfortunately it only exists on Cloud for the time being.
-
Hey all! Atlassian PM here. We're currently working on supporting zpl.io short links so these should work very soon.
-
Hey @Niels Jongerden ! Atlassian PM here. We plan to support public Figma files in the near future. We don't have an exact timeline yet to share. We'll put out some comms when it happens :)
-
Hey @Peter Fjelsten! Sorry to hear the Atlassian Cloud Editor isn't servicing all your needs. Re; that ticket you shared, we currently support images in list. We don't support macros in lists for a boatload of reliability issues that I'm happy to expand on. TL;DR - if we allow it, we open the door to not being able to…
-
Hey @Samie Delebo - Your Gal at Gliffy ! Awesome to hear you've been loving the new editor :) We've got so much more awesomeness in store just around the corner. Can't wait for you to see it!
-
Hey @Sven Schatter _Lively Apps_ and @James Dellow! Opening Smart Links up for third-parties to build is definitely our plan. We've built Smart Links on Forge intentionally so that we can open up to third-parties in the future. We don't have a concrete timeline for when this will happen but we are hoping we'll have…
-
Heya @Caleb Ray - you can track status of this feature here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65640 We'll update the status of the ticket when it lands for customers :) Shouldn't be too much longer. Hope that helps!
-
Hey peeps! Editor Product Manager here. We're totally aware of the need for this functionality and are actively working on it. We don't have an exact date we can share, but expect it to land in your hands soon. We'll be sure to update you when it's out. Hope that helps! Jonno
-
Hey @Nichola Moore ! My name's Jonno and I'm a PM on the new editing experience. Continue numbering is something we're aware of and looking into. We aren't working on it at this exact moment but will likely try to tackle in the near future. Hope that helps! Cheers, Jonno Katahanas

Hi @Bob Sovers and @Kelvin Hill , speaking specifically to expand, based on customer feedback we’ve both improved the aesthetic of expand plus added the ability for it to be nested in tables. This feature is available across all editions of Confluence Cloud. More info can be found here…

Thanks for your feedback, @Tal Levi! I've moved onto a different team within Atlassian but have past on your comments to Bree, our Head of Product for Portfolio, Cloud. Please keep the feedback coming! Cheers, Jonno
