Hi @Martin Dalskov I don't know if this is too late for you but maybe someone else who needs this will see this. I was looking for a good solution to the problem of importing CSV or Excel files into Trello and couldn't find one. So, we decided to build one. Our free Trello Import Power-Up is now live, give it a go and let…

Hi @John Barnes I wrote up the current state of Time Tracking options for Trello here https://www.bluecatreports.com/trello-reporting/time-tracking/ For data like client, project, task (could be name of card), date, time spent you could look to add custom fields to your cards. They're great :) On the simple end of the…

hi @Stacey Brattain As Hannah has said I don't think you can set this up in Butler. You could create multiple separate reports, or maybe look at 3rd party tools like Blue Cat Reports which has email reports and is a lot more flexible. Thanks, Robin
-
@susan2 @Cynthia Brown the Blue Cat Reports power-up is also a good option for reporting on custom field data. Happy to give you a quick demo if you want to grab a time from my calendar https://calendly.com/robinwarren/30min :)

Hi @Helen Downer , We don't currently support assigning people directy from the form but there is a work around. If you add a custom dropdown field to the board with entries for each person who could be assigned you can add that to the form. You will then need to create an automation to assign the member to the card after…

Hi @Valeh Nabiyev You could do this with a Trello Form using this Power-Up https://trello.com/power-ups/6139de588901011c01baf52f/forms-by-blue-cat You can use that to create a form which creates cards on your boards, you can also set certain fields (and the attachments) as mandatory. Hope that helps :) Robin

Thanks @milynnus @Alison Conklin if you want a quick demo of how Blue Cat could help feel free to reach out. robin at bluecatreports.com :)

Hi Andra, the Quick Lists in Blue Cat (I am pretty sure you know them :) ) can do what the Trello team tables do, including the ability to export the data (or indeed get it emailed to people on a schedule) You have my contact details if you want to discuss :)
-
It sounds like you might want to see tasks assigned to other people? As well as your own. I don't believe there is anything built in to Trello to do that, but you could create a report using Blue Cat Reports showing cards and checklists assigned to different users. I know some teams use this to get lists sent to each team…

For Trello, check out Time in List https://trello.com/power-ups/5b4765f383dd7c75d8e57be4/time-in-list

Hi @KC Pet Project the Forms for Trello Power-Up can do this. An image uploaded with the form is selected by default to be the cover image :) Plus it integrates with all the standard and custom Trello fields so data you get into Trello can play nicely with other Power-Ups and etc. Very similar picing to Jotform so the only…

You can have template cards which have checklists attached (which will be copied to new cards) which oftens works well as a todo list for a single card. However, it sounds like what you want is to record data against each card? If so I would look into Custom Fields which are excellent and the best place to record this sort…

You could take a look at the Quick List functionality in Blue Cat Reports which has no limit on the number of boards. Also, some other cool features like getting the table emailed to you on a schedule etc. :)
-
Not sure about doing this in Trellinator (I need to take some time to investigate it mylsef!) but it sounds a ot like you are trying to do reporting. You could absolutely get a daily list of due checklist items using Blue Cat Reports and could even get it emailed to you to save having to check Trello each day. If you take…

Hi @Mark Langshaw Blue Cat Reports has your back! There is a 7 day free trial, and it should be pretty easy to build those charts. But here are some help docs in case that helps as well - Completed cards https://www.bluecatreports.com/help/articles/completed-this-week-month-ytd/ If you create these charts for each step of…

@Maria Alejandra Martinez Lima as mentioned by @Laura Holton _ACE Manchester_ that isn't an option in Big Picture. If you want to see an overview of other Gantt charting options we have written up all the current power-ups and add-ons here https://www.bluecatreports.com/trello-reporting/gantt-charts/

Hi @Simonne Solarsh I have seen a few other sales orgs using Trello like that. For reporting you could look at Blue Cat Reports which can pull data from multiple boards into a single dashboard (or dashboards) for you. https://trello.com/power-ups/5d9c90aa18965066fcd44730/reports-by-blue-cat There are some general examples…

I have not tried this but you could maybe use the Forms Power-Up to get the data into custom fields. Then use one of the Card Mirroring power-ups to copy the cards to another board but exclude the email address from the syncing? Not sure if the final step there is possible or not though!

The Team Table on shows cards, if you want to view checklist items in a table view you could take a look at Blue Cat Reports Details here on how to do that https://www.bluecatreports.com/help/articles/create-a-quick-list-of-checklist-items/ Cheers, Robin

Happy to hop on call and offer some advice, I've seen a few other real estate firms set ups in Trello (and a few 100/1000 other companies set ups) so can probably offer some good advice Grab a time here https://calendly.com/robinwarren/30min Cheers, Robin

I can only 2nd this vew, none of the Gantt chart pups I've checked show checklists, let alone use those as the tasks in the chart rather than the cards.

Hi @Therese Louise Hansen I appreciate the additional details here were for Marcs benefit, but if you haven't looked at Blue Cat yet I thought I'd drop some links to our help to show what it can do Quick lists: https://www.bluecatreports.com/help/articles/create-a-quick-list-of-cards/ - Create a list filtered by member,…

Hi @[deleted] welcome to Trello :) We've written a guide to the reporting options in Trello, we speicifcally cover exporting to excel/pdf here. Trello's built in export feature requires a paid subscription, but there are tools like Orah board export which can also export to excel and pdf. If you are looking for more…

Hi @Therese Louise Hansen Blue Cat Reports can do this with the Quick Lists You can try it out for free here Hope that helps! Robin

apologies to anyone triggered by the image of chlli meringue pie! I was going to go with liver meringue so consider yourselves lucky :)

Hi @[deleted] you could do this in a few different ways with Blue Cat Reports. Quick lists showing over due tasks (Checklists or Cards) could be one way https://www.bluecatreports.com/help/articles/create-a-quick-list-of-checklist-items/ There are also more visual dashboarding options but I will leave it to you to take a…

it looks like Cardsync haven't been paying attention when Trello change some requirements on power-up developers recently You will need to contact their support email support@cardsync.xyz Robin Founder: Blue Cat Reports for Trello and more :)

As David has mentioned this is a premium feature, also check out other options we reviewed here https://www.bluecatreports.com/trello-reporting/exporting-trello-data/

Hi Gina, Normally when you open it it will ask something like 'split data into columns' which if you select it will ask some further questions. Sticking with the defaults will likely work fine from that step. In google sheets the initial question pops up in a small button somewhere to the right of the text you paste in.…

oh, should have said. One other option for time tracking is the Time in List power-up, which does what it says on the tin :)
