Hi @rob.jeal , I am afraid there is no straightforward way to do this today. Thank you for your suggestion, we will add it to the list of things we want to improve for teams.
-
Hey @Gary Spross , Thank you for the question. That's one of the improvements we will be working on for the Team assignments in Jira. Today it is not available but it is something that we have planned for the future.
-
Hi @Brian Selewski Thank you for your question. Teams is currently in the plans to get added to basic search along with other fields. We expect that it may land there some time in 2024.
-
Hi @Fahad , Please email me a screen recording or a screenshot of what you are seeing and I will help you to troubleshoot this issue. ynisanbayev(at)atlassian.com
-
Hi @Darrel Jackson Most of Premium customers should be migrated by now. Can you please email me your organisation name and jira url to ynisanbayev(at)atlassian.com and I can verify the rollout status for you.
-
Hey @Omer Meshar The field does not currently work with automation, it is on our roadmap and we will make it available in automation in the future. @Gregory Kremer there are several things we hope this change helps our customers with: - it eliminates different disconnected concepts of teams across Atlassian products,…
-
Hi @Todd Thomas , Thank you for your feedback, we currently don't have specific short term plans to add support for multiple teams per Jira issue. It is something we are thinking of, and your feedback will help prioritise this ask in the future.
-
Hi @Shankar Rishikesh , Thank you for this suggestions, we are considering an improvement to notifying Teams along with other things, your feedback helps a lot, please keep sharing if there's anything else we could improve.
-
Hi @Bert Dombrecht Thank you for highlighting a need for this feature. Yes we are considering this improvement for the Team integration in Jira, along with other ways we could improve the experience.
-
Hi @Dawn Rodney , thank you for the question. No this is separate from Jira admins, it's a higher level. Organisation admins are the highest level of admins we have at Atlassian, read more about this role here: https://support.atlassian.com/user-management/docs/give-users-admin-permissions/
-
Hey @Yatish Madhav , Yes I understand, the structure and hierarchy can get a bit complex. We are looking for ways to align teams with groups in the long term. That is feedback we do hear time and time again, so it helps us to look more deeply into the connection between teams and groups. Cheers!
-
Hey @Sari Kachorovsky You need to be an org admin for your Atlassian org to be able to do delete a team without joining it first. Alternatively, you can always join the team and delete it then.
-
Great questions @Yatish Madhav - Today we already have a cloud REST API for teams, more on that here https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/teams/components/team-public-rest-api/ - Teams are different from groups as groups are admin controlled and are very strictly managed, usually used for permissions. Teams are meant…
-
Hey @Joerg and @Hope Man This is being rolled out right now. Whether you have received this feature will depend on your license tier, we have rolled out to most customers all tiers but Enterprise at this point. We are planning to cover all customers by the end of the year.
-
Hi @Tammy West , thank you for your questions. I am afraid it is working as designed and the subtasks will inherit the teams assigned to the parent task. A workaround could be using an epic as the parent tasks and assigning issues to different teams.
-
@Dirk Ronsmans We have a separate feature request that aligns with your ask of limiting the teams based on permissions, please follow it here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-80845 Right now the list is not limited and shows all teams from your current organisation.
-
Hey @Rick Westbrock thank you for following-up, in this context new means customers that started now - new as of August 2023. For this particular integration - you will be considered an existing customer and will be integrated next year.
-
Hi @Ryan Retting Thank you for your suggestion, we don't currently have this ability to connect boards with teams on our roadmap. But I have logged your ask here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-81678 please vote and watch to help us prioritise it among other items we have planned for teams.
-
Yes we will, we are currently integrated with OpsGenie for new customers and new dashboards and we are planning to integrate with existing customer in the first half of the next year.
-
@Erki Tammik Thank you for this suggestion, currently we are not planning to add a visibility setting per team. When one searches or mentions a team we have smarts that limits the results of the teams that you will get to the ones you use more often and the ones that match your query that should help with limiting the…
-
Hey all, we are happy to let you know that we now had a public REST API you could use. Read more here https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/teams/components/team-public-rest-api/
-
Hey @Majken Longlade , thank you for your input. We are tracking this particular JQL improvement here, please watch and vote ! https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-81400
-
Hi @Brian Taylor , yes it will! We are integrating Teams with OpsGenie and Shared teams will be integrated sometime next year.
-
Hi @David Washburn Thank you for your interest in Teams! At this point we have not rolled out to Enterprise customers yet, as we want to make sure the feature is scalable enough and works well for our largest customers. We are planning to roll it out to most of our customers, including Enterprise by the end of this year.
-
Hey @Omer Meshar , so JPD is a special case, it is not integrated with teams yet, you can create an independent team field in JPD but today it will not be connected to Atlas teams. We are working on getting JPD integrated with Atlas teams eventually.
-
Hey @Omer Meshar Teams should be on your instance. It does not come on by default though and needs to be configured. Depending on the type of your Jira project, here are the instructions:
-
Hey @Meital Adir Advanced Roadmaps teams are planned to convert to Atlassian teams in the upcoming months. If you want to avoid duplicates, please hold off on creating Atlassian teams now or you could create them but you would need to delete the duplicates in the future. Hi @Belinda Baker this works on the organisation…
-
Good find @Dirk Ronsmans , yes it is available in JSM. That's great suggestions and we have them captured already.
-
@Andrei Paikin sorry we don't have the functionality you need now, thank you for your feedback, we added this ask to our backlog for the API
-
Hey @vivekgupta_hsc Can you please expand on this and explain what you would like to be implemented exactly and how does it help with your work?
