Hi @Peter Low They should already get an email notification as part of default notification settings when they're assigned an issue. You can also use Jira automation to do almost any combination of trigger and action based on criteria such as trigger a Slack/Teams/Twilio/Email notification when an issue in status 'review'…

Hi @Tyler Berard If you go to 'View setting' over on the right of your 'plans' screen you can tick the box for 'Roll-up'. There's one for 'dates' and one for 'others'. then depending on the fields you bring in you'll see the relevant rollups.
-
Yes, it's pretty cool! Thanks
-
Hi @kris.transimage There are some limitations with the free version (more info) One of them is a cap of 100 email notifications a day. Is it possible you might have hit that?
-
In a plan you can only source issues from a board, project or filter and these don't work across instances I'm afraid. If your use case is for a large enterprise Jira Align may be of interest to you

Hi @Matthew Burrel I'm not completely clear on your question here. Do you mean why doesn't the automation create sub tasks when transitioning from 'Draft' to 'In Review' in 2nd? Or are you asking if there's a way to stop duplicate sub tasks being created, only if the issue has already transitioned from Draft to interview…

Hi @Amara Welling There are some suggestions in this thread that might help to start in troubleshooting. @Chris Stott quite often with a hint like that it means that it's a feature that might be introduced in the future. If there's something that needs to be done to make it possible the tooltips and notifications generally…

Hi @Matthew Burrel If I've understood what you're looking for here then adding a condition like this should work for you:
-
This is great - I like the new features in JSM. Look forward to using this to improve customer service!

I'm really excited to learn more about Advanced Roadmaps - It's already helping me to manage projects at a programme level and it makes keeping my issues up to date a whole lot easier! I'm particularly interested in getting to grips with auto-scheduling - I'm hoping it's awesome as I think it's going to be!
-
Good advice - I'm sending this video to my teams if they don't keep on top of their issues!
-
Hi @Bryan Riley When you use auto-schedule in Advanced Roadmaps you have the option to preview the issues that will be auto-scheduled. You'll need to accept changes which will be reflected in your plan... But! you'll still need to save these changes in the Advanced Roadmap as well for the issues to be updated with the…

Hi Jay, Are you using G-Suite? You might have already found this in the documentation but just in case, there are some considerations towards the end.
-
Hi Patrick, You could create a new service desk project and customise the workflow. Is there a strong reason for you to stick with one service desk project? You can specify which organisations see each project. Otherwise you may need to use a separate request type for the two step approval, although that might impact user…

Great article! I'm excited about using webhooks with Jira automation, I just need to find some time to experiment. Thanks for the detailed explanation though.
-
Great to have this available - I will explore with our DevOps team

Hi Frederick, Advanced Roadmaps allows you to add extra levels of hierarchy to group at a higher level of work than Epic. You're right, that's limited to Jira Premium I'm afraid. I have seen Epics marked in the summary to signal that they are higher level with some success - it's not hierarchical though, so you can't…

Welcome to the community @Dipak k Aditya You're in the right place for help learning Jira

You're very welcome Amara :)

Hi @JP Tetrault This question is close to my heart - I've had to migrate from Next-Gen to Classic to include some projects in my planning which is laborious, but I was glad I did it (I really like Advanced Roadmaps). This is not going to be an option for some though of course. I've seen comments from Atlassian Product…

Hi @Amara Welling Bill is right and the current limitation is 1 'Done' status per workflow. Can I suggest changing the workflow to remove the transitions 'Development Completed' and 'Ready for Testing'. This would free up the 'Dev Done' status to have its name changed to 'accepted by PO' and moved to the end of the…

Done, good luck with your thesis 👍

Hi Beninia, If you use the 'External system import' and import from Trello to Jira it won't affect the Trello board you upload from. It works the same as uploading a .csv for example, the csv is unchanged but all of the data that it contains is uploaded into Jira. Hope it all goes well!

Hi Sebastian, I can't find reference to the 500 limit on Jira automation - could you share a link please? I've not hit the limit before and we use automation rules quite extensively. We're trialling Premium so I wonder if this is something new? Only reference I could find was here (below screenshot) and I believe it's a…

Hi Maribel, You'll need to be able to add fields to achieve this. If you go to 'actions' > configure From here you can add fields - if you drag 'Time tracking' into the context fields, you'll get a field where you can add remaining and completed time. To add your estimate just enter the 'time remaining' Let me know how you…

Awesome, thanks for letting me know Lisa ☺️

I found this Masterclass from Glintech quite helpful: https://www.glintech.com/events/atlassian-masterclass-series/atlassian-advanced-roadmaps-webinar/atlassian-advanced-roadmaps-webinar-landing You'll need to provide your details to download the full video but I found it an equitable exchange.

It's available on Cloud, I use it to manage Programs. You need to upgrade Jira to premium though. https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/premium
-
Hi Silvesta, It sounds like Advanced Roadmaps for Jira is just what you're looking for. It allows you to manage work at a higher level than project. It works best if your teams are already using Jira but is powerful as it works directly from the boards, filters and projects your teams already use. It's available through…

Hi Narenda, You might have multiple 'start date' fields. I found we had 3 fields all called 'start date' which can be problematic. In your plan, at the top left next to the name of the plan is a cog icon. If you go into this configuration screen it will show you which date fields are driving the plan. I find Advanced…
