Hi @Margarita Artemyan ! In Jira Align, the concept of story / effort points is what will ultimately drive the progress bar on the roadmap (tied to the LOE field on stories). Points act as a proxy for time / complexity. I'd recommend checking out this article to learn more:…

Hi @Vera du Preez ! The Jet tool has actually been migrated to the Atlassian marketplace as an add-on to Jira. Here's the link: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221602/jet-by-jira-align?hosting=cloud&tab=overview Hope that helps! Mark

Thanks for sharing this, @James McCulley ! I know lots of customers leverage Apigee and this will make it 1000% times easier for them to think about how they connect to Jira Align!
-
@Rhodes Baker - sorry to hear this :-( To me this seems like a bug (once you've removed programs they shouldn't come back). I'd recommend submitting a bug at: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ As for the ideation portal, did you enter your information get an account created? If so, I'll check back with our support…

Hi @Chad Ullman ! Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately dependencies are not accessible via API 2.0 in Jira Align at this time, and I'm not aware of where it stands on the roadmap for API 2.0 updates. I did check out ideation queue for Jira Align and see it's listed there, meaning you're not alone in wanting this…

Hi @Vinay Sharma ! Great question and I have a few ideas... * If the sprint is showing up as a future sprint, and there are no closed or active sprints, Jira Align won't be able to map the sprint to an anchor (Jira Align uses the start/end dates of a closed / active sprint to project the dates for Future sprints). You…

Good approach! Thanks for sharing!

Hi @Rhodes Baker ! Unfortunately there is no way to disable the auto-populate. Under the hood, Jira Align operates primarily on programs (portfolios is just a group of these programs), so when you select a portfolio Jira Align can't figure out which program to tie back to so it ties back to all of them (you'll notice in…

Hi @Vinay Sharma ! Looks like there's a custom field being mapped in Jira Align that is having trouble getting set in Jira. In Jira Align check the Admin > Jira Settings > Jira Setup Tab to figure out what field customfield_10004 is and then make sure in Jira that the value appears on the add/edit/view screens in Jira.

Hi @__ Jimi Wikman ! If you reach out to Atlassian using the link below (to request more information on Jira Align), we can set you up with a trial instance for you to explore (we call it Launchpad). Launchpad allows you to play around with how Jira Align is configured and the different functionality in the tool, to…

Hi @Vinay Sharma ! Here are a few initial thoughts... * Did you happen to check the Audit Log in Jira Align for the specific Feature to see if there are any errors occurring? * If you make a change in Jira for the specific feature, does it update in Jira Align? * If you have Admin access, I would also check Administration…

Hi @Sundaresen Rungasamy ! Great question! Best way to do this is to use the History report on the Program Board (see red box on screenshot below). Jira Align Help Link: https://help.jiraalign.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005049268-10X-Program-Board#history On the History report you'll be able to see all the changes made to…

@Kelley Cooper - thanks for the question! Unfortunately I don't believe there is a way to automatically remove that label after being moved to another column on the custom Kanban Board. The person who pulls over the object would then need to "un-mark" the ready to move state. I do think this is a great addition for the…
-
@Suzanne Matheu - you are correct that you could use the Jira Integration tab and set the "Run Board, Sprint, and Fix Version sync" option and it should do what you're looking to accomplish. I'd recommend making your query focused on just the stories you want to see updated on those boards (you might just do something like…
-
@Marco Chiarello - there's not an easy way to do what you're looking to do around release notes, but I can think of some workarounds... * You can use the Roadmaps > Release Vehicle View and take a Export (saved as an image) of the Release Vehicle that shows the highlights, teams, total work (see below) * You can then…
-
@laura.rich - thanks for the question and I apologize it's taken so long to get an answer back to you. Long story short, there is not a ton of capacity planning functionality available to Kanban Teams in Jira Align (as you can see). Much of capacity planning is based on "Agile Teams" in Jira Align that have a construct of…

@Bram Langelaar - I'd recommend you attempt accessing the page using incognito mode in Chrome to see if that avoids the caching issue. Unfortunately I don't have visibility to your access ( @Rodrigo Cortez might be able to check), but I believe your account was setup and approved back in December.
-
@Vandana Kurapati - do you see the following icon at the top right of your screen? Should look like a clipboard icon. Click on that to access / create checklists. Let me know if you don't see it.
-
@Vandana Kurapati - I'd recommend checking out the Checklist Help Page. This will show you how to create a Checklist in Jira Align. To get a checklist to appear in a Program Room, make sure to select the following options during creation... View: Public Usage: Shared Shared with: Room Portfolio: Select the applicable…
-
Adding onto Robert's answer - enter into the edit screen of a checklist and you'll see the Delete option on the right side
-
@Bram Langelaar - the Jira Align Product Management Team handles access. I've sent them a note to get your account approved, so you should hopefully get a response soon :-)
-
@Bram Langelaar - thanks for reaching out! The closest we have to pulling out state changes with time stamps would be to have the API pull the audit log for a particular Feature or Epic using the following: * /rest/align/api/2/Features/{Feature ID}/auditlog * /rest/align/api/2/Epics/{Epic ID}/auditlog Each audit log entry…

If they are in the same portfolio I think the initial option may be the best bet. I know the Solutions Architect from Atlassian working with your organization and will let him know to reach out to you on this topic (you two can go deeper and play with a few more potential options). Good luck!!!
-
Hi @Suzanne Seaton ! Thanks for the question! When you say two instances...is that two Jira instances connected to Jira Align? Also, how is the data structured into Jira Align (for General and InfoSec)...Programs, Portfolios? Based on what you shared, the only approach I can think of is that these managers could have a…

Fantastic piece @Tarun Sapra ! A must have for every org using Jira Align and Jira!

There is a "Save" toggle on these objects that allows the flexibility for people to be able to add a new Jira Epic/Feature but not make changes (this can be used for funnel purposes), but that's really the extent. If you really want real-only then just enabling the main toggle and turn off toggles like Delete, Add, and…

What @Rae Gibbs said :-) Here's a screenshot outlining what Rae described.

Hi @Velizar Borisov ! If you're looking to prevent users from editing data in Jira Align (at least for items that sync from Jira like Stories and Features), the best way will be to make those objects read-only in Jira Align (for a Role, remove the permission to edit the object). Unfortunately Jira Align can't make some…
-
Great question @Thomas Sparks ! I was going to recommend you submit an idea to our Jira Align Ideas Portal, but when I looked I see you already did :-) That's definitely the best avenue.
-
Hi @Jeyesh Jeykhar ! You're in the Jira Align space of Community - I would recommend posting your question to the Jira Community page...you'll get better answers :-) https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira/ct-p/jira Good luck in your quest for knowledge!
