Hi @Zaid Darras , You should be able to achieve this using Automation for Jira in your project settings (you can find this in Project settings > Automation). Here you can create a rule that gets triggered every time someone changes the custom field. Then you would create 2 branches where you validate that if the custom…

This is a great sumup @Jimmy Seddon thank you for sharing! We are usually using separate permissions per role but the additive approach is definitely interesting and worth trying!

Welcome to the community @antwan carter ! Being administrator is defined good choice if you want to be your own boss 😊

Hi @Vincent Rammelt , if this didn’t work for you you can try to create a board based on saved filters (JQL). Create saved filter with projects you’re interested in, make sure it’s public and create a board using this filter.

Hi @Анна Фокина , you can switch your Jira cloud to russian in your account preferences. https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-your-language-preferences/

In the past few years, I'm in a position where we're pushing things to the limits and taking risky decisions. What helps me personally if something fails is to tell myself and everyone else that we did the best decision we could at the time with the information we had. And we would rather move fast and do mistakes than…

Welcome @Graham Twine ! Are you creating plugins for Cloud, DC or Server? 🤓

Thank you @Ellie Behling , I’ll make sure it’s included in the February roundup! Also… what a great date (my b-day 😳🤓)!

I'm happy you find this helpful @Taranjeet Singh ! 🙏

Loving the new share button! 👏 Thank you. I wasn't sure where to post this feedback but this looks like closest place I found to do so 🙈 I like to live my life on the edge 😅 so I often write articles directly in the community instead of writing the articles first in docs or anywhere else. It did happen to me a few times…

I'm happy this helps. Let me know if there are any webinars or events from Old street solutions @Teodora V _Warsaw Dynamics_ 🙏

Congratulations on a new baby @Jimmy Seddon ! I had no idea, that's amazing 🥰
-
Thank you for such an in-depth comment, I'm loving it! On the theoretical level, I think this definitely works and I can't argue with that! I usually notice that in the software development teams there aren't many problems of keeping track of priorities (for developers) as they're usually given to them. The problem starts…

Hi @Vero Rivas , thank you for your comment 😌! I must say I experienced a rush of reprioritizing based on the client's feedback. What also helps me with evaluating the feedback and tasks is to assess the issue from another's client viewpoint. Because the one that screams the loudest might not always represent the majority.…

@Patrícia Fortunato Montenegro so happy to see you here and thank you for your lovely comment! Asking for both - urgency and importance if someone requests something ad hoc is a great way to keep calm and stay organized. ☀️
-
Absolutely agree @Taranjeet Singh and importance vs urgency method for creating priority order of the tasks is great especially if you have a long list 😌 It gives you a sense of structure into sometimes busy days.

Your comment about "not replying right away was letting people down" reminded me of a book that I was recently reading called Permission to Srew Up. Inspiring story written by Kristen Hadeed about how she started a business. She mentioned in a book how terrified she was to go for the first time after she started a business…
-
That's a great tip @Fabian Lim ! Eisenhower matrix is a great tool to help get your head around priorities and potentially delegate ones that aren't as important so you don't get overwhelmed.
-
Interesting! I was usually experiencing the exact opposite. Focusing too much on solutions before understanding the problems properly in depth. 🤓
