Oddly we had many school trips, but not too many were memorable. The two that stand out are: 1. In 2nd grade (1985) the school took the entire grade to Fire Island. This included a ferry ride from the 'main land (Long Island)' to the barrier island, a hike through the Sunken Forest, and catching Horseshoe crabs by the…

@SilkeS thanks for these updates. 🙏

@SilkeS I agree with @Dave Mathijs - great idea. I did notice that a lot of historical posts were moved there and many have the FEATURED post tag on them. It may be a good idea to have that cleaned up a bit so visitors don't need to scroll past older content to get to the latest posts.

@Chris Kim check out the home page for the Seoul chapter - https://ace.atlassian.com/seoul/. This is the only active chapter in South Korea at the moment.

@Krimo Khermane congratulations on this milestone! It's amazing to see how your journey of one thousand miles has been comprised of so many small steps. I'm disappointed I won't be able to make it, but I'll be watching the coverage from afar here in the Online Community.

Our family was Star Wars fanatics. We grew up buying/gifting Star Wars figures, vehicles and sets for birthdays and holidays and amassed such a large collection that our play room was referred to as the Star Wars Room in our house. This was the late 70's and early 80's and we would re-enact scenes from the movies as well…

I am confident enough to admit that I know how to turn on the grill and turn it off, but never cook on it. My wife is the chef in the family and while she has never been able to convert me in to one, our oldest two sons are pretty mean grillers too. All summer long, at least twice a week, we will have a dinner of…

Hmm. Missed this one on the publication date. Late into the summer, but it's still going strong, so here are our kid's (and adult's) summer plans! 24yo son - Finishing up his Master's in Accounting, travelling to Vermont for a week of Mountain Biking, continuing to train for his first marathon (Philadelphia) in November…

I remember getting this in 1985 at the age of 7, and this being the first set I completed on my own. It felt like such an accomplishment. I set up a card table in our basement playroom and plugged away for hours. My older brother offered to help, my father offered to help, but I was stubborn and wanted the creation to be…

I really appreciate you taking the time to publish this @Sanam Malleswari. As a Community Champion that has suffered from some level of burnout due to the noise that I have allowed to creep in to every day life, these tips are crucial to eliminating burnout and reinvigorating my Atlassian community quest!

ACP-520, no studying, and the result proved it. I used to have a goal of becoming Atlassian certified but have had to de-prioritize that goal in support of proper usage of my time for my company and team. I do hope to get it back on the roadmap one day, but for my role and organization it is more of a vanity goal than a…

Exciting update, finally making progress on solving a long anticipated community need.
-
@Dave LIAO looking forward to having a beer together. @Matt Straub you'll be missed, I hope you'll be able to make the next one.

I have a mantra in our organization - 'Slack is where the conversation takes place, Confluence is where it is documented' -> constantly reminding our team that even the best Slack post will never be looked at again once it scrolls offscreen, and that we need to take the time to commit the knowledge shared in Slack posts to…

It really does not matter what your motivation was, it matters what you do with the privilege and responsibility of being a Community Champion, and you have been a great representation of the Community Champion ideals and mindset @Margo Sakova - OKR Board for Jira by Oboard. Thanks for this post!

There is a small cafe in our town that sells the most amazing pink iced tea (not lemonade) during the summer. It's a bit on the expensive side, but worth treating my wife and myself once a week. We look forward to sitting on the front porch on a hot summer morning sipping on our 32oz cups of pink heaven. Your post did make…

I recorded a Confluence Shortcuts video for the BSL (Bite Sized Learning) series, I'll need to check whether the content needs refreshing now. Admittedly, I am not a big keyboard shortcuts guy, my hand is always on a mouse (and I use Windows), so these changes won't affect my workflows much, but still - one needs to know…

I absolutely love my current Apple Air Pod Pros. I must have one or both in my ears for 3-4 hours every day. But my favorite headset was my first Beats by Dr. Dre Studio 2.0 wired over the ear headphones. * I won them at a conference, had no idea I had won them, and they arrived as a complete surprise to me at my office in…

Our family clamors for the seats on the couch facing our front window during a good thunderstorm. Living close to the water we can really watch a storm roll in from a distance and watch the sky darken, begin to see the lightning illuminating the clouds and hear the rumble of thunder from miles away. Fun fact - we have a…

It's Tour De France and Tour De France Femmes season, so I have been keeping one eye on Peacock and the other on my email. Or maybe just both eyes on the TdF and TdFF! On top of that, I have been binging highlights on YouTube and Unchained on Netflix. And during my commute I have been catching up with The Cycling Podcast…

@Amanda Barber I feel like I have seen this scene from a different angle on numerous Zoom calls the past few years. Looks like a great place to relax and let your mind expand.

Team '26 Europe location has been scouted and decided. See you all at @Walter Buggenhout's back yard!
-
@Kristján Geir Mathiesen you are a man that is one with his environment. I am sure it must have been an amazing experience. Thanks for sharing.
-
@Teodora V _Warsaw Dynamics_ you look like you are on top of the world. Just the picture is inspiring, I can imagine how inspiring it is to actually be there IRL. Thanks for sharing!

I take one day off to recover, and totally miss the start of the stretch goal! Thanks @Monique vdB for the opportunity. Thanks @Amanda Barber for the amazing tree tracking GIFs all month long. Thanks @carolyn french for mentioning my series - I would have published a post yesterday if I realized earlier that the game was…

@Humashankar VJ have these been in person or virtual events? I find that you need to log in to the virtual events using the link in the calendar invite. Very often community members will just visit the YouTube channel or link for a virtual event and will not get credit for attending. Same goes for in person events, make…
