@Lorenzo Ferguson I believe the issueLinkType keyword in the filter works above 8.0.0 + In this post a guy from atlassian team says the same please refer https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/issueLinkType-not-returning-results/qaq-p/1099760

@Raynard Rhodes great ..!

Do you have different products and various custom fields for each products or almost similar and only 5-7 fields .? If it's similar and had only below 10 custom fields i suggest you to use the custom fields where the ticket it created cause when a customer comes for a service it's not a good practice to get the information…
-
@Saumya Jain Best way to deal with it is creating enough custom fields that can store all your related info ,otherwise you have to deal with the excel sheet. Just for the record...can you approximately tell how many fields or set of information that you require after the ticket have been raised so that i can suggest you a…
-
@Lorenzo Ferguson is your jira instance is below 8.0.0 ?
-
@Saumya Jain why not creating enough fields that will be enough to get the needed information from the users ... instead of these much works .?
-
Sure @NickM also feel free to discuss about your test run and if u have any issues later
-
No @NickM you need not make changes in the workflow ..as per your assumptions in the first passage it's right ...the done also comes under the resolved ,rest are considered to be closed ..so by this if thr notification configurations are right then you should receive the notification or else there's something else the real…

@Lorenzo Ferguson And by the photo you shared it's not issuelinkedtype...it's "issueLinkType" make the caps and spelling correct and retry once
-
Your creating a filter with some requirement and that results a set of linked issues and among the linked issues you needed only the defect type of issue to be filtered Am i right @Lorenzo Ferguson ?? And by the photo you shared it's not issuelinkedtype...it's "issueLinkType" make the caps and spelling correct and retry…
-
@Lorenzo Ferguson instead of "issue in linked issue " try adding "and issueLinkType='defect' ".
-
@Lorenzo Ferguson if you give me out the exact scenario i would even try to create a query . What first imagined from your question is little different from what you have implemented
-
Sure @Lorenzo Ferguson
-
Hi @Lorenzo Ferguson Create a normal filter and in last add if it's type is like defect . E.g. and issueLinkType = "has defect" Regards Kevin.

Hi, I just pinged the scriptrunner team and found the result ..the issue was ".?value" need to be added in the condition to check the value of the field. This is working fine for me . Hope it works for you too @Bunty cheers...!
-
As per my assumption since the logs are stating there throws a exception , I believe that there a problem with the database try researching over it , check also whether the collation that the database that the data is stored is correct and recommended
-
Hi I have raised a bug against Scriptrunner yesterday , will keep you posted . No problem things will take time but we'll find solution cheers
-
After doing some research this process of transition can be easily done through the automation for jira plugin where u mention the condition and then u chose the action what need to be done ..its that simply If you havent purchased scriptrunner yet , then give it a try…
-
I tried the same thing and its not working for me to Im currently working on it ill update you asap cheers.

Hi @Scott Windus Time tracking is a field you need to add in to the screen Further there is also a field called log work which can help you to reduce the amount of work that done from the total amount of the time that is given in the time tracking. Also check whether it is enabled or not…

However in jira only task has the subtask form by default First you have to create and configure a subtask for the desired issue type ,then you can use that functionality https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver072/configuring-sub-tasks-828788265.html Hope this helps
-
You can copy a workflow and create it just like that Or sit and spend time and recreate from the beginning Settings then work flow then add new workflow
-
After creating a group in the user management ..you also need to configure the group by adding members or the group to the role in the project it is done through the project setting and users role check out this documentation…
