Hi all, even if this is a few years old, I'd like to point out that there's now our app „Show Inline Comments in Editor“ in the marketplace, which lets you see inline comments in edit mode. This should work nicely for you. I hope this helps. :)

There's also Inline Table Editing for easy modification of tables, cells, rows and columns without having to enter edit mode. Makes things a lot easier.

You could also have a look at Inline Table Editing. It allows users to edit table cells without going into edit mode. Sounds like exactly what you need, no? Hope this helps...
