@Tejas Mali did you get a chance to review all the help around quality and test case management in Jira Align?

@Reddy The intention of the different types of work items at the (task, story and feature level) is to be able to report on the different type of work the teams are working on. As defined by SAFe "An Enabler supports the activities needed to extend the Architectural Runway to provide future business functionality. These…

Jira Align does not have a Zephyr connector available. If you are an admin, you may see a Zephyr connector setting in the administrative role settings. Prior to the Atlassian acquisition, this was a connector we were investigating with some customers in a limited beta format. This connector toggle will be removed in the…

@Isha Grover in Jira Align you have the ability to export features using our API 2.0 or export your features to a CSV file. What exactly are you trying to do and why do you need to export? A better understanding of that may offer up some other ideas or suggestions.

@Karalee Kikiros thanks for the heads up on the link. I'm working with marketing to update the URL with a valid external link for you to download the ebook. Here is the new link! https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/align/resources/guide-to-okrs

@Mark Cruth thanks for the reminder about the new Objective Mappings settings!

Check out this FAQ that has a bunch of articles on the Jira/Jira Align integration and I constantly point back to these various articles to solve issues. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Align-articles/Jira-Align-and-Jira-Integration-Best-Practices-and-FAQ-Table-of/ba-p/1253497 Search for the articles with "sprint"…

And as @Jesse Pearlman mentioned, that at least the Portfolio, Program and Team objectives can be turned off/on by role. Hope this helps @Ann Bouvier

The menu option never had the Solution level objective (or whatever you named or defined that level in Jira Align). So if you search on "objectives" from the menu search you will only see the 3 levels. However when you add an objective, the dropdown "objective type" still shows the 4 levels. Currently the dropdown is not…

Check out the great new Atlassian website article from Chris Spanner on the four best practices for a successful PI Planning Event.

Jira Align does not have JQL. However, you can run JQL from Jira Align to update items. Check out this great article on the community about JQL from Jira Align. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Align-articles/Jira-and-Jira-Align-Integration-Jira-Query-Language-JQL-Best/ba-p/1260051

@Julia_Mays I'm not sure I have a great answer for you since Jira Align does not integrate directly with MS Teams. However, Jira has an integration so it is possible to view features that are in Jira Align, integrated to Jira and then MS Teams Planner. Jira also has some kanban board functionality that may be useful as…

What @Rich Sparks said too!

@Jack Hunter _HeroCoders_ Jira Align doesn't enforce child accepted status requirement for accepting a Feature. We often recommend handling this through your Definition of Done requirements for getting a Feature to DONE and Accepted. Although most Product Managers would validate and require all stories are accepted,…

@Ann Bouvier thanks for the further clarification. Can you open up the duplicate feature and capture a screen shot of the Quick View and the Feature Details? Also confirm what your Tier 1 filters are set to for Program and PIs. Are you filtering by a single Program and PI? It should not display twice in the same row as the…
-
@Daniel Hursh currently the integration does not sync goals and objectives between Jira and Jira Align. As part of the visibility and understanding the WHY, have you set up the WHY button in Jira? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Align-articles/View-the-Jira-Align-quot-Why-quot-Field-in-Jira-Software/ba-p/1256543…

@Ann Bouvier - The program board is showing features that are associated to each team either through story or teams association on the feature. So a feature will show up in each teams row that the feature is associated too. The Program Board allows you to move features across sprints to visualize when a team should deliver…

Jay, If you have additional ideas on how to improve Jira Align, please submit and vote on them at https://ideas.agilecraft.com/ The Jira Align Product Management team looks at those ideas often to include in upcoming releases. I'm not currently aware of any specific Jira Align community events planned, however this forum…

@Reddy Sorry for the delay on your additional question. Could the MVP work of the Epic be tracked in an OKR? I could see creating a Program OKR that links the set of features that represent a subset of the Epic. You can track the progress of the OKR by Key Results and/or the work progress in the objective tree report.…

@Rob Horan do you have "Training Simulations" turned on in your Jira Align instance? These are more snippets of functionality, many customers have found them valuable on learning some key functionality. As Jay mentioned, we are excited about the upcoming self-paced Jira Align training that will be available soon.

From my experience, a burndown chart is useful when you know all of the work required to get it to done. For stories, we define all of the work (stories and tasks) for the iteration. For features, if we do effective PI/Big room planning we define all of the work (stories) for the PI/Quarterly timebox. Because the Portfolio…

Ha - looks like Mark and I answered at the same time. I think between the two of us you are all set!

Carolyn: 1) Let me research this one a bit more. There are some views and filters you can set in some different areas that should get you what you are looking for. 2) One of the Jira Align Solutions Architects Rob Phillips wrote a great article about this here:…

Maybe I'm not understanding what you are looking for exactly. Have a look at Feature Backlog->Kanban->State View and select the three dots to show features by team by state.
-
You might look at the Work Tree view to track progress of the feature and it's stories across the teams.

Engineering came back and said it was 4000 total characters. It is limited.

I don't know of any report or configuration for a single view you are requesting. https://agilecrafthelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001386093-10X-Team-Burndowns

I suggest opening a support case for this question. There are several factors that may be contributing to the move in the middle of the PI including if the Program is part of the same Portfolio or if they share the same PI among other details and understanding.

Test cases have the ability to import. You must use the Template provided. It requires the correct system permissions on the role to complete. Please look at help around importing and the quality section. https://agilecrafthelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000088654-10X-Import-Objects-Via-Excel…

The Program Room will only show Features for that program. A good practice for cross ART work for each ART to have their own Feature that represents the work they are doing, ultimately tied to the Portfolio Epic. Per help on the Program Room: All features, capabilities, and epics assigned to the selected program and PI…
