@Omer Meshar I'm on leave next week, i'll reach out again when i'm back if we're still interviewing.

@Daniel Bourdage We have community posts addressing questions such as this https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/Frequently-asked-questions-about-the-product-how-do-I/ba-p/2002378 We have multiple products and teams. Should we use one project or multiple? This depends on many factors. Jira…

Hi @Sheri Widler thanks for the feedback. We have some new sharing features and a stakeholder role coming out soon which may do the job for you here. Stay tuned, we'll share details in the Community when they're ready!
-
thanks for helping out @Nick Haller !
-
Yep, the 1:many relationship would make this tricky! Would you like to book some time in with me to discuss your use case? https://calendly.com/rswami-atlassian/jira-product-discovery-and-delivery
-
Hi @CC @Omer Meshar @Ivor We’re exploring how we can improve this area of the product for customers at the moment, and based on your earlier feedback I’d love to get your input so that we can tailor a solution to your use case. Would you be able to have a short chat with me this week? You can book time in withe me through…
-
@CC One workaround I can think of is to create a text custom field and call it "status update" and you can update that field value with your update whenever it's time to report.
-
Hi @jonathan.tate thanks for sharing this feature request with us. If I understand correctly you have Jira Software issues with story point estimates, and linked ideas that you need to prioritise. Can you please share a bit more context. Right now the way to show a Jira Software story point field within Jira Product…

Hi @Jscher_ your best option here is to use the Chrome extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jira-product-discovery/flacajjkcnlngpeapmnmignmjgddamah This will allow you to highlight text from the email and add it as an insight without needing to leave the screen. Currently the extension is not supported for…

@Lexi Sprague @CC We don't have this functionality at the moment and this is the first time I've heard this request! How is showing the most recent comment on the timeline view helpful to you?
-
Hi @Lexi Sprague this setting isn't available at the moment. Can you please help me understand more about your use case. How would the percentage help you here?
-
Hi @Claire Prosser correction: This should be a select field not a multi-select. Once it's a select field the value can be used in custom formulas. Please see the example below. My custom formula expression is {Story point estimate}*2
-
Hi @Claire Prosser this isn't customisable at the moment. However you can achieve this by creating a multi-select field with options for 1,2,3 or any other scale you would prefer.
-
Hi @Brent Vierling communicating progress to your stakeholders is a job we aim to solve in Jira Product Discovery. You can create roadmaps with dates, and make Product a field that is displayed. Which part of this isn't working well for you at the moment?
-
@Erik Lau I've emailed you a support ticket that we've opened for you to help you resolve this.
-
@Erik Lau I've checked our records and you don't have billing admin permissions. Your site admin will need to change the subscription or make you a billing admin. To make you a billing admin they need to go to: Site Administration > Billing > Manage Jira Product Discovery > Billing admins > Add a billing admin.
-
Hi @Erik Lau you may be a site admin but not have billing admin permissions. 2 options: 1. Ask another site admin who has billing admin permissions to change the subscription from Beta to Free/Standard. 2. Ask them to make you a billing admin so you can do this yourself. If this doesn't work please create a support ticket…

@Selena Colvin we added this guidance on trusted users to the post: Trusted users (a deprecated user experience) will also use a license for all products on site. The only workaround in this case is to change the user's role to either Basic or Site-admins, after removing product access from the site-admins group. It…
-
@Abby Kiesling yep that's what I was proposing and agree on that downside, you would need to groom them periodically in Jira Software but I suspect that could align with your existing grooming rituals.
-
hey folks, our prioritisation is very fluid so we don't share anything concrete here to avoid creating expectations that we can't meet. We will work on addressing this problem, and you'll hear about it first in this Community.
-
hi @James Fama A creator (ie. not a project admin) can not add fields or manage users. You can see these permissions from Project settings > Access > Project roles > Manage project roles:
-
@artem_syzonenko to manage your expectations, it's not in our short term roadmap.
-
@Omer Meshar I agree on that downside you've mentioned. We're looking to help in this area with improved sharing features and a stakeholder role. Coming soon!
-
@Ellen Daleng Please send screenshots of what you're seeing in the Admin directory (as per above) and also Jira Product Discovery project settings through to rswami@atlassian.com and I will help you resolve this.
-
Hi @sureshr currently this is not supported. We'll take this idea into consideration as a product team for future prioritisation.
-
@Ellen Daleng This means the user doesn't have User access to Jira Product Discovery. Please check by going to Admin > Directory > Users. Select the user and check their product roles. If you're having issues you can reach me at rswami@atlassian.com
-
@Abby Kiesling we appreciate your challenges here and trying to work out the best solution for connecting JPD, Software and Advanced Roadmaps. We'll be sure to reach out as we make some more progress to get your input. For now, one option could be to trigger your automation from JPD to Advanced Roadmaps earlier, such as…
-
hi @Sheri Widler thanks for sharing your feedback. Why is it important to see this info in Advanced Roadmaps specifically as opposed to throughout Jira Software?
-
+1 to @Ted . Here are the steps which need to be performed by the site admin: * On the top nav bar, select ⚙️ > User Management > Directory * Search for a particular user and click the name * Grant product access by clicking Add products > under Jira Product Discovery click User, check User and click Grant.
-
@Virginie Leguem the steps you need to follow are below: Step 3 (optional): remove product access from site administrators By default, when you add a new product to a site, the site-admins user group is given access to that product - this means that every site administrator will have access to Jira Product Discovery and…
