Hi @Richard Muffler I think @Jeny Stoeva's workaround is probably the best option but if you're looking to group by another field as well, it won't work too well. We'll keep this in mind for future timeline view improvements as we have heard from many customers that they need more flexibility for the time axis.
-
Hi @Onur Asci I haven't seen a customer try this before! I think @Aaron Mosny's workaround will be your best solution.
-
Hi @Nadav I think the suggestion from @Jeny Stoeva is your best option at the moment. Would you like to discuss what you're trying to do with me so we can incorporate your feedback as we make improvements to the product? You can book time in with me through Calendly.

@daniel.teper here are instructions on exporting from Advanced Roadmaps and to import into Jira Product Discovery: There's also a bulk move feature that allows you to move issues between projects ie. from a Jira Software project to Jira Product Discovery: * Top menu bar in Jira: Filters > Advanced issue search * Search for…
-
Hi Richard, the Slack app doesn't support customising the form at this point. We'll keep this in mind for future enhancements.
-
Hi @daniel.teper there are a few ways you can do this: 1. Manually log them as ideas. 2. Export them from Advanced Roadmaps as a CSV then import them into Jira Product Discovery. With either of these 2 options you can then link the Jira Product Discovery Idea to the Jira Software Advanced Roadmap initiative using the…

@Waleed welcome! There's an active community of JPD users here to give advice on what's working for them, and some folks from the JPD team including myself are also here to help as well. Good luck!

Hi Charu, If a user is mentioned in a comment, they won't receive notifications from other comments. However, if they were a reporter, assignee or something similar then they would continue to get notifications. We're working on introducing the capability, to disable notifications in this scenario. It will behave like…

For the timeline view we use the same principle of using fields with colours for visual reference. For example, you could have a field for initiative displayed on the timeline and colour-code the different initiatives. We'll keep the suggestion to shade the whole bar in mind for future iterations of the timeline view.
-
Hi Matt, the best option here is to use colours for the field values. It allows you to bring some colour into the timeline without it being overwhelming. Give it a try!
-
@Naomi Casebolt I think Beau's suggestion is the best option for the setup you're describing.
-
@Paolo Pastorino normally copy-pasting the Epic works so this may be a bug. Could you please raise a support request for this? Click on 'Give Feedback' at the bottom left of Jira Product Discovery. If you can include screen recordings or screenshots of the bug that's particularly helpful.
-
@Jeny Stoeva we have shipped a fix, could you check to see if it's working now?
-
@Charu Takkar have you been able to get access to your account? Did you get the reset password email in your junk folder perhaps?
-
Hi Jenya, we're investigating this issue. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
-
Hi Michael, You're right, with the current build filters support OR searches but not AND, issue searches are the best option. You can save an issue search to make it easy to get back to in the future though.
-
These are great suggestions @Ian Sperry thank you! Will add these to our backlog.
-
Hi @adolfogarcia this isn't on our roadmap for now. Thanks for sharing your feedback and we'll keep it in mind for future prioritisation.
-
Hi @Jackie LaFrance to help diagnose the issue can you help me understand how what you're seeing is different to the screenshot from my demo instance below?
-
Hi @Gabriel Buck @Amanda Barber would you be able to elaborate a bit more about how you would like it to work?
-
hi @Mauro Sousa these are tools aimed at difference audiences. While Product Discovery is aimed at discovery/product teams, Align is aimed at executives. We don't have plans in the short term to build more integration features across these products.
-
Gotcha. This solution would work if all your ideas were in a single project, but you might need something else for multi-project aggregation.
-
@Katherine Torzsok releasing soon you'll be able to aggregate values in the list view. here's a screenshot of what it would look like below
-
Hi Ben, thanks for identifying this bug. We've added it to our backlog to fix.
-
Hi Brian, we don't support this at the moment, thanks for the suggestion.
-
Hi @Ben Arundel , as others have said there's less of an emphasis on moving items through a workflow in Jira Product Discovery as there is in Jira Software. Thanks for your feedback!
-
@KB @Amanda Barber good news! We have a fix for this coming out shortly, estimated release next week. Anyone with the permission "Edit and delete any insights" will be able to edit and delete anyone else's insight too. This permission comes by default with the "member" and "administrator" roles, but you can customise the…
-
@KB @Amanda Barber I'm Rohan from the Jira Product Discovery team, confirming that this is not possible at the moment, deleting and re-adding is the best workaround. Thanks for sharing your feedback.
-
@Omer Meshar @Danno ah I've got it now. It's not in our short term roadmap to make these changes to the Chrome extension. Thanks for the feedback and we'll keep it in mind for the future.
-
Hi Omer, you could highlight the relevant section of the email then open the Chrome extension to create that as an insight. Would that work for your situation?
