I understand. Maybe let's start with the why: * What are you trying to achieve? * What is your goal? * How many printer are we talking about? Dozens, hundreds? * Do you consider a print job as a task with an estimate of x number of hours? * Would you like to calculate capacity based on the sum of "print jobs"? * Are these…

Hi @Audrey MacKenzie You can add statuses to your workflow that represent the life cycle of your tasks. There is no right or wrong, the Jira workflow needs map your business processes. A possible example: Intake & Planning Creation Review & Compliance Production Publication & Distribution Post-Publication

Hi @Tobias Jønch You could create a plan-only team called "3D printers", add all printers (these need to be user accounts) as a member to the team and set the Capacity (weekly hours) to # of members x 24 hours. For "human teams" you multiply the number of members by 8 hours to calculate the Capacity.

Great to hear it got resolved, glad for you.

Are all users experiencing the same issue when trying to upload a .PDF file to that field type? Seems like your attachment is not generating a preview. Have you tried with other .PDF files (smaller, larger) as well? Have you tried clearing your browser's cache, logout/login again?

Hi @amor_aguilera welcome to the Atlassian Community Forums! Could you please explain/elaborate what you mean exactly by "the new update of metrics" in the Goals app? When creating a new metric, you’ll have to enter a few pieces of information: * Metric name — A specific, descriptive title to help distinguish this metric…

Hi @Anuradha Muddana Confluence indexes attachments separately, so this is the most accurate method. Go to Search → Advanced search Switch to CQL mode Use this query: type = attachment AND fileExtension = "mp4" This returns MP4 attachments.Click an attachment → “View in page” to see the page it belongs to.

Hi @Boce Lin Can you confirm you are using the Media and files field type? Do you experience the same issue for all file extensions (e.g. .JPG, .PNG) or only for .PDF files. I just tested this with a new database created in Cloud and am unable to reproduce the issue. The .PDF file is shown as a preview:

Hi, Assets dashboards: * cannot define thresholds * cannot trigger visual alerts * have no conditional formatting So ther eis no built-in "alert when cound < X" visualization in Assets itself. As a workaround, you could create a scheduled automation rule to notify you when this happens: * Scheduled automation rule * Use…

Hi @Marine DURET Custom fields that are not part of the request type (create screen) cannot be edited by a customer. Fields that included in the request type cannot be edited after submission of the support request. Normally, the customer does not determine the severity/priority of a ticket directly. Severity can be…

I never went as an exchange student. Do I regret it? As I'm very shy and not used to travel, I didn't mind spending my college time in my local province. Maybe it would have helped me being abroad and learning a foreign language besides my studies. After all, there was no exchange program available at my college.

Hi @Tim Keyes , the images are shown now, thanks.

@Konstantin Brand Who will be your new partner instead of Jira Cloud? Curious to see which on-prem options are still available nowadays.

Good call Staffan, I always tend to forget that team-managed spaces still exist as I want to avoid these at any cost. 🙃

Hi @Venkat Jira Admin Is it possible that those users have a Jira Service Management (JSM) license seat (app access), but no Jira license seat (app access) yet? JSM users (agents) can access Jira software spaces and their work items but are unable to view the agile features (like boards, backlog, sprints, etc.)

Hi @Jayesh Raghuvanshi Can you post a screenshot where to check 'queue visibility'?

Hi @Varvara K_ In Jira Cloud, the Reporter field is a system field, which makes it slightly more rigid than custom fields. By default, any user with the "Browse Projects" permission can be selected as a Reporter. The most direct way to limit the selectable users is to restrict the Create Issues permission.

Hi @Boopathi welcome to the Atlassian Community Forums! First of all, please make sure to check that work items in status 'Closed' all have a Resolution set. Check the following knowledge base article for more info: Best practices on using the "Resolution" field in Jira Cloud

Hi @dzaidi welcome to the Atlassian Community Forums! In order for your service desk agent to see tickets in a service space (project), they need: * Jira Service Management User (agent) app access (a license seat) * Browse Permissions for that specific service space (project) * to be added to the Service Desk Team role of…

Hi @Santhosh Gosula March 28, 2029 is the End of Life (EOL) date for Atlassian Data Center products as well as associated third-party Marketplace app licenses. However, individual third-party vendors may choose to end support for their DC apps earlier, and they are only required to provide a 90-day notice if they retire an…

Hi @FrancoB , Best practice My advice would be to tune this at the source side. If your monitoring system is sending too many emails (resulting in an Alert), then maybe it's best to finetune the thresholds for sending the emails in the first place. After all, what's the use of creating an alert for emails sent if you're…

Hi @Robert E_ Schneider you posted this as a Question. Do you have an actual question? Limitations in Confluence Cloud: There is no drag-and-drop for table rows (unlike Excel). Cut–paste behavior can be inconsistent between browsers. Nested tables or merged cells make moving rows harder. Using copy + delete is safer than…
