  • Hi @rogierl , It's not possible at this time to export a calendar for the next 12 months. It's only limited to 3 months currently. "You can also choose to export the schedule periodically. Select Open calendar from the icon bar to export the next 3 months to your calendar, starting from the current month. At the end of the…
  • Hi @Cesar Augusto Adame Rodriguez , Sounds like either a permission restriction, plan restriction or both. Some plans (JSM Free / Standard) require integrations to be added from under a team's Integrations tab. And only account Admins & Owners can add new Opsgenie teams. Account Users do not have this permission.
  • Thanks for all your effort @Monique vdB !! This program has been so much fun the past few months. Can't wait to see where it goes!!
  • Welcome!!

  • Hi Everyone! As a Support Engineer with Opsgenie, JSM is one of our more popular integrations to help notify the correct users about new JSM issues, have Opsgenie alerts automate the creation of JSM issues, or both! Automation rules are one of my favorite features. A pretty common ask is "How can we get the JSM issue…
  • Hi Everyone! As a Support Engineer with Opsgenie, Jira is one of our more popular integrations to help notify the correct users about new Jira issues, have Opsgenie alerts automate the creation of Jira issues, or both! Automation rules are one of my favorite features. A pretty common ask is "How can we get the Jira issue…
  • Hi @Venkata Sagar , If your Opsgenie alerts are not creating Jira issues, then this Community post may help! Otherwise if you are facing other issues, or those suggestions above don't help, let us know.
  • Hi @Bryan Pascua , Our ServiceNow documentation should help with creating / configuring the integration so SNOW incidents create Opsgenie alerts. As for best practices, we typically see customers configuring an integration under a team. When an integration creates an alert, it'll flow through what's configured under the…
  • Hi @Howard Nedd , If you were unaware, you can add No-one (an actual option) into the rotation's participant list to replicate this every-other type rotation: Hope this helps!
  • Well there really isn't a way to disable that connection. Your Opsgenie was given through your JSM subscription, and the connection you shared above is through your site. If your users do not want notifications or anything to do with Opsgenie, you can simply remove them from whatever groups in your Atlassian site have…
  • Hi @Jeffery Caldwell , "Wildcards can only be used after characters and will only match from the start of character sequences. Character sequences need to be separated by a space for the wildcard to try and match to each sequence of characters." So if the string in your description is actually something like…
  • Hi @Luis Helder , I think it might have something to do with the incorrect URL being used, and what you are querying for the alias. For example in our alert API doc, this is the example used: curl -X POST https://api.opsgenie.com/v2/alerts/life%20is%20too%20short%20for%20no%20alias/close?identifierType=alias -H…
  • Hi @Nestor Rodriguez Perez , If you are an admin of the team that has this integration configured, you should be able to disable the integration under the team's Integrations tab here:
  • Hi @daniel.rosa , That visibleTo: everyone label or field seems more like a Prometheus thing. Visibility to alerts in Opsgenie would be dependent on your user's roles, and the permissions they have to the alerts. By default account Admins and Owners have access to all alerts. Account Users will only have access to the…
  • Hi @Dariusz Wozniak , If the exceptions (message and type), and the URL from AppInsights are included in the payload, you can use string processing or regex to extract them into the alert. But again, the information needs to be included in the payload. If it's not being sent from AppInsights to Opsgenie, then it wouldn't…
  • Ok, thanks for checking. That error is pretty specific, and mentioning the wrong Content Type might be being used (which I understand contradicts your screenshot):
  • Hi @Bart Scheltinga , It could be the API key being used in your request. The Create Alert API needs to use an API key from an API integration. If you are using an API key from the API key management tab, POST / creating alerts through one of these is not supported.
  • Hi @Jim Hawkins , We now have an actual app in MS teams with our v2 integration: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/integrate-opsgenie-with-microsoft-teams-v2/ The bot is our older version, so if you are still experiencing this problem, we'd suggest trying the new integration / app!
  • Hi @Alexander Hammond , It's not currently possible to configure different notification settings at the team level. We have Central Notification Templates, but there are configured on a user-role level. I just opened a public feature request for the ability to configure CNTs on a team level. You can follow that…
  • Hi @francois gayout , Sounds like you are using an email integration to create alerts in Opsgenie. To prevent replies from creating new Opsgenie alerts, we see a number of customers using the Conversation Subject in the alias field of the create alert action: The Conversation subject field will use the email's initial…
  • Hi @Theis Joergensen , When adding a responder to the incident, a responder alert should be created to trigger notifications to the team/responder added. It's interesting you are not seeing this expected behavior: As for the second issue, unfortunately Opsgenie cannot decrease an alert's priority, and can only increase the…
  • Hi @Ana Laura de Melo , You should be able to remove stakeholder notifications two ways. If your incidents are being automated by incident rules, you can unselect the option to notify stakeholders here: Otherwise you can remove the stakeholders from your service specifically so they are not notified as well:
  • Opsgenie sends a label (fromOG) to Jira / JSM when an Opsgenie alert creates a Jira / JSM issue. Which is why it's required.
  • Hi @Edon Freiner , You choose the screen in Jira / JSM. It's outlined above where to find and edit this. As well where to check through a test issue. Before creating the issue under the same project / issue type configured in Opsgenie integration, select the Find your field option.
  • Hi @Edon Freiner , Like that error indicates, the labels field is probably not on the correct screen of the project / issue you are trying to create. In Jira/JSM navigate to the Settings menu → Issues tab → Screens tab → Configure the same project’s screen that is configured in the integration’s action mapping section:…
  • Hi @[deleted] , Following up here quick to share some insight into your use case with the Community. Basically Nick wanted to suppress notifications AND outgoing requests during off-hours for their Jira instance - so no issues are created during certain hours. Notification policies can only suppress notifications sent to…
  • Hi @Jiří Janda , It's not possible to define a Monthly rotation type at this time. I just opened a public feature request that can followed here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-462 The more votes / watchers on a feature request will typically gain more traction with engineering to implement a feature request.
  • Hi @Ana Laura de Melo , It'd realistically depend on your plan. Under the Free and Essentials plans, you'd need an integration per team. But under the Standard and Enterprise plans an Advanced tab is available where you can filter on the New Relic alerts, determine which Opsgenie teams should receive which alerts, and…
  • Hi @Steven Pearson , If your login email is the same for both Opsgenie accounts, you can use the same app and simply switch between accounts: Otherwise, you can still use the same mobile device for both accounts, and still receive push notifications while logged out of one - but would need to log in to view the alert. You…
