Hi @Anthony C , Yes, it should be possible (through automation) to pull JPD fields into a Jira and/or JWM fields. Are you facing and issues trying to do so?
-
Hi @Ana Figuera , Thank you for the suggestion. Feel free to share this within your JPD under the Give feedback tab as well. That will create an internal ticket within our engineering / PM teams' queue that they are reviewing regularly to improve JPD. In the meantime I'll get a feature request entered as well. If you are…

Hi @Louise Baker , Mapping to single/multi-select fields is a bit tricky. As far as I know - Automations do not have the functionality to create new values/options within one of these field-types. Unless the value/option (9.1, 9.3, etc.) already exists within these field-types when mapping via automation, you will face…

Hi @Jennifer Iglesias Morales , The fields that appear in the create idea view are dependent on the view selected within the template: Having said that, we've noticed a lot of inconsistencies with the create idea form when ideas are created outside of the JPD project. The only workaround to have the create idea form work…

Hi @Tudor Hornai 2 , The field options for the autofill toggle will show based on the global Jira permission. Since "Due Date" is a system field that will show up on any Jira project, only a Jira Global admin will be able to select it for as an option. That being said, once configured under the JPD date-field's Autofill…

@Maria Figueira , You will need a value entered for all fields, not just some - for this to work as expected. Otherwise the calculated formula will equal 0, or will not exist. For example with the ideas you shared, at least one of the RIC fields does not have a value entered - meaning it's 0. Multiplying by 0 = 0, so you…

Hi @Maria Figueira , As mentioned above, you need to wrap your fields with (curly) brackets. I think generally a RICE score is calculated using the formula: (Reach x Impact x Confidence) / Effort So your formula could be: ({Reach}*{Impact}*{Confidence})/{Effort} ^ Note each field is wrapped with (curly) brackets. But if…
-
Hi @Maria Figueira , When writing your own formula, I think it's important to note each field should be enclosed with (curly) brackets if that is not currently configured - so your formula might be something like: {Reach}*{Impact}*{Confidence}/{Effort} and/or also use parenthesis if order of operation matters as well:…

It may still be possible, but I think will depend on how your "Version" field is being parsed. I don't believe my Jira instance has a "Version" field specifically, but does have a Fix Version field which I'm assuming might be similar. When using the Get Issue API on a Jira issue that has the Fix Version field configured, I…

Hi @Louise Baker , We've found an automation like this one below works well when trying to map Jira delivery fields back to the linked JPD idea when the delivery is updated: * WHEN: Value changes for Jira delivery field(s)* Select the delivery field(s)* In the example above, the automation is monitoring the Customer Name…

Hi @Rabeeh Adwan , Two things to check based on that error: 1) Does the automation's Scope have both the JPD and Jira projects selected, or extend to the projects globally? The Scope needs to have both the JPD and Jira projects added somehow - through Multiple projects or Globally: 2) If the Scope is includes both the JPD…
-
Hi @Rabeeh Adwan , Thank you for clarifying. Typically I suggest using an automation to map JPD idea dates-fields to Jira delivery date-fields when the delivery is created. That automation might look something like this: The values entered in the delivery Start date and End date fields above use string processing to…
-
Hi @Rabeeh Adwan , This should be possible if you have the Start date field selected within the view. I assume you are referring to a roadmap / board view - like in the example below, I've selected both the Start and End date fields: Please note these fields need to be configured within the idea for them to populate within…
-
Hi @Jorge Ervilha , Unfortunately this is not currently possible with JPD like Jira has with validators. Closest thing at this time is editing the project's Workflow / transition of Business Case >> Demand Prioritization, and updating a field (such as Estimated Cost) when the transition happens: The limitation with this…

Although I should note the article above is a bit outdated and displays the older Advanced integration UI. The newer rules can be added and configured here:

Hi @Daniel Cabral , This Community Article should help with your use case! How to Map Alert Priorities in Opsgenie
-
I'm actually not sure. I realized there seems to be some new user experience with the lower-tired JSM plans which does not redirected into Opsgenie anymore, but rather keeps you within JSM - so again, unsure where this could be configured, and if it's even possible any longer.
-
Within Opsgenie. If you are subscribed to the Standard, Enterprise, JSM-Premium or JSM-Enterprise plans select the Settings >> Integrations tab, then select your JSM integration. Note only Opsgenie admins and owners will have access to this tab. Otherwise navigate to the Opsgenie team that has the integration configured,…

Hi @Thomas Teller , You can edit the integration's Create Alert action(s) to include something like the suggestion below, which will embed a link within an Opsgenie alert field: https://sitename.atlassian.net/browse/{{key}}

Hi @Rohan Bharadwaj , This recording might be useful in how the JPD team manages its Roadmap! Hi @oliver.boban.alempijevic , The JPD Standard plan offers 500 (successful) automations per month. If the limit is met, and because JPD does not offer a Premium plan yet, Atlassian support can reset the JPD limit if it does exceed 500.
-
Side note as well - engineering is working on releasing a Premium plan / offering for JPD. No firm ETA on when this will be released, but it should be within the next quarter or so if I had to guess.
-
Hi @Jeanette Bonifaz , If you reach out to JPD support, we should be able to work with our internal team to get the JPD automations reset!
-
Hi @Steven Rohles , I believe the view should stay / save when ideas are rearranged manually (when no Sorting is configured). Having said that, if your view has the Autosave disabled then any changes made to the view would default back to the saves completed before the Autosave was disabled: Can you check if your view has…
-
Hi @Adrian.Lester , That is correct. Running a JQL on the ideas that haven't had activity and editing them would be more a retroactive action to the existing ideas. Configuring the automation if an idea becomes idle after X-time would be more of a proactive approach that would edit the ideas moving forward.
-
Hi @Edouard Parison , If all other suggestions in this post fail, feel free to open a ticket with JPD support. We've noticed that specific error has been related to the A4J (Automation for Jira) user not having correct JPD permissions, and this can only be enabled from the support / Atlassian side.
-
Hi @Adrian.Lester , Good question. At this time there isn't a way to filter ideas based on "age" or created date, updated, etc.: Having said that, there could be some workarounds or suggestions on how to manage these 'old' ideas hanging around that aren't being actioned. There is an automation template which edits an idea…

Hi @Levy, Sathya , This Community article should help with mapping alert priorities: How to Map Alert Priorities in Opsgenie Specifically Section 1 - Advanced integration settings of the article above. If "priority: P5" is being sent to Opsgenie and parsed in the payload of the alert, you can use the integration's Create…

Hi @Alex Shaw , I can confirm you could have both a +44 and a +01 incoming call number / integration in your Opsgenie. Here is a list of supported countries. There is no limit to the number of incoming call integrations that can be added, but again - after the first line that is included with the plan, it's $10/month/line.

Hi @secutechconsultingservices , This doc should help with creating custom fields. Only project admins can create fields if you notice any restrictions following these steps: Create a new custom field * In any view, go to Fields. Now you can see fields that are actively being used in the selected view at the top. In the…
