  • Hi @Jordan Lee , I believe that might be the case. I think you should be able to check for the Description field by "creating" an issue under the same project assigned the integration. Before creating the issue, click into the Find my field option, and search for the Description field (or others): My guess is you may see…
  • Hi @Lisa C Griger , Opsgenie has a Slack integration to send messages to channels when an alert is created, along with updates such as when it's ack'd or close, when a note is added, etc. Too have a Slack channel trigger when an alert is created with a P1 or P2 priority, you'd want a configuration like this: Note that if…
  • Hi @Jordan Lee , That should be possible with the newer cloud Jira integration. You'd want to create Jira issues when the alert is ack'd. That setup would look something like this: You can customize which alert fields map to which Jira fields under the section above with the arrow: And here's a test in action: Note that…
  • Hi @Nathan Eden , I believe engineering updated the integration to authenticate via an API key instead of a user's password: This might not reflect in your current Freshservice integration if it existed before the change - but new ones should have this option now.
  • My screenshoot is of the Jira integration which provides a few more status options. The JSM integration only had the Done option available at this time. I believe you can use the Jira integration for a JSM project though as the configuration for the legacy integrations is identical.
  • Hi @Carlos Chang , I don't believe that would be possible with the Webhook integration. The Jira integration can transition the status of the issue when the Opsgenie alert is ack'd though: If the status you want to transition to is not available, you could also use OEC. Although OEC is typically used for on-prem Jira…
  • Opsgenie support should be able to assist with that. You can open a ticket with them here: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/
  • Hi @Louis_DaCosta , If you are asking if Opsgenie can communicate with Zabbix / send Opsgenie alert actions back to the Zabbix alert - then yes - that should be possible. Opsgenie has an OEC plugin which would most likely be needed. OEC is a lightweight app used to communicate with external systems that are not accessible…
  • Hi @Wong , It's not currently possible to remove a responder from an alert at this time. But there is an open feature request for this you can follow, watch and vote for here: Ability to remove responders from an alert
  • Hi @Chris Negus , That's not currently possible, but there is an open feature request for this you can follow, watch and vote for here: Option to automatically create slack channels for incidents
  • Hi @Dhrumil kishorchandra Modhiya , I'm not familiar with Prefect URL, and it is not one of Opsgenie's prebuilt integrations. If Opsgenie does not offer a prebuilt integration, customers with typically leverage either an API Integration or Email Integration to connect their external systems and tools.
  • Hi @Sara Mikkelsen , I believe your users will need to connect their Slack with Opsgenie through this command: /genie connect before you can assign them alerts through Slack. This is to authenticate they are an active user in the Opsgenie.
  • Hi @Bhanu Prakash , It's not possible to remove the option to close an alert during a voice notification. It's also not possible to customize your own set of dial actions either - but we do have an open feature request for this functionality you can follow, watch and vote for here:…
  • Hi @Mike Hang TR , Users are notified when an alert is closed through their Close Alert notification rule. So each user would 1) either need to disable or remove this rule from their Notifications tab: Or 2) You could configure a Central Notification Template that applies to your users' roles, and does not include a Close…
  • Hi @Mike Hang TR , If you have access to the Advanced tab of the integration, this should be possible. Note that this tab is only included with the Opsgenie standalone Standard and Enterprise plans, or the JSM/O Premium and Enterprise plans. Under this tab, you'd want to configure one of two things: 1) Adjust what parses…
  • Hi @Henrique Oliveira , Closest thing Opsgenie has to that would be Heartbeats. The idea with Heartbeats is to ensure there is connectively established between your external systems and Opsgenie. If Opsgenie does not receive a "ping" from your external system over a specified amount of time, an alert will automatically be…
  • Hi @Guillermo Vayá , I believe exporting schedules will only pull the future 3 months at this time, but there's an open feature request to extend this length that you can follow, vote and watch for here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-461
  • Hi @Welly Hung , I believe you can use the @opsgenie connect command disconnect the API key / integration. You'll then be prompted with this response:
  • Hi @AKMAL FAIZ BIN ADIDAN , I believe both are possible. 1) "Once the alert has been acknowledge the ticket will auto move status from (To Do to In Triage." Opsgenie out-of-the-box cannot map to the status, In Triage. We have a few feature requests for this functionality you can follow, watch and vote for here:…
  • The two conditions are actually: * New state = Normal * Acknowledgement Time = Empty Above in your screenshot, the Ack Time field is showing as [no data available in DB] - which I assume is an actual string? You can check the log by reviewing the Raw tab of it to be sure.
  • Hi @Michael Hodgson , My screenshot above of the Close alert action is what is set by default on the N-Central integration - regardless of plan. So maybe check your log and those two fields to see whether or not they match.
  • Hi @Michael Hodgson , Important to note that all of the integration actions: are processed in an order of operations from top >> down - starting with Opsgenie reviewing the the Ignore (if there are any configured), then the Create alert action(s), then the Close alert action(s), and so on. Also - Opsgenie can only match…
  • Hi @Nick Ragsdale , I think we would want to review a few other things to troubleshoot the issue you are facing such as the OEC logs, stdout or stderr logs, /var/log/opsgenie, etc. - but I would suggest also opening a ticket with Opsgenie support again. We should also be able to extend your trial as well so you are able to…
  • Hi @Michael Gaston I actually just published a Community Article that should help with the other direction you mentioned above: How to Alert Different Teams Through One Integration Feel free to give that a 👍 if you find it helpful!
  • Hi @allan , Can you check if the test alert triggers through the Default API? You would need certain permissions to view this alert as it would not be assigned to a team. Only account Admins and Owners by default have access to all alerts - so if you are an account User, you will not have access to view this. This is how…
  • Hi @Michael Gaston , I believe that should be possible - if you are trying to map the Opsgenie team to a group/team in ServiceNow - when an OG alert creates a SNOW incident. This Community Article my colleague wrote might help with customizing the script needed: How do I populate additional fields in a ServiceNow Incident?…
  • Hi @Stuart Mingay , I think that can be done, but would probably require two rotations since the length of each is a bit unique. * Monday 9AM - Wednesday 12PM * Wednesday 12PM - Friday 4PM. Might look something like this:
  • Hi @John , The Statuspage integration's outgoing flow is not included with the Free and Essentials plans at time.
  • "How would I know what the name of the extra property is and what the syntax is to use that and add to the description of an alert?" It would depend how the field is being parsed in the payload. "Is there a way to do it all within the ui without having to find out what the custom field name is in the api?" You can check…
  • Hi @Mark Hayter , That should be possible with something similar to the URL you shared above. This Community Article might help with extracting the extra property / field: How to Extract Custom Fields and Data into an Alert Once you are able to determine what is needed to extract that field, you can add the URL into the…
