Hi @Thomas Schmidt I think my team's app, Scroll Translations, is what you're looking for. With it, you can choose the languages people can read in, translate the content in Confluence, or export it to be translated by a third-party or in an external translation management system. Let me know if you'd like to see it in…

Hey Daniel, You might want to try out may team's app Scroll HTML Exporter. The app gives control over the naming used for the exported HTML content and includes CSS-based theming and search.

It's really handy to have unique space icons, it really makes it easier to find them. We even use them on our help site, which is made up of several spaces: https://help.k15t.com/
-
@james zhu Maybe the guidance here is helpful: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Can-you-customize-HTML-Exports/qaq-p/977076 Not sure what you're looking to do, but my team is about to release Scroll Viewport for Cloud soon which lets you turn your spaces into a help center. We'd be happy to show it…

@Frank John Parhaps this is related to this missinig feature in Confluence Cloud: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Can-you-add-comment-to-page-history-functionality-back/qaq-p/1334455 There are a few not-so-great workarounds.
-
Sadly, I got distracted. :( I'm interested to hear about the quirks you've found. I'm sure there are plenty.
-
@Adam Abbate There is a workaround listed here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65695

@Mike Chupa If you use my team's app Scroll Viewport to theme your pages as a Help Center. I think this might accomplish what you're looking for. Here are some examples of what it could look like: https://www.k15t.com/rock-the-docs/publishing/create-a-help-center-with-scroll-viewport
-
Perhaps my team's Scroll HTML Exporter app might save you time. The look and feel is fairly similar to Confluence.
-
@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-'s answer is on point! Not sure what you're looking to do with the theme, but my team is also about release Scroll Viewport for Cloud. Perhaps this is helpful as well.
-
Hi @Tomaž Tinta This is something you could do with my team's app, Scroll PDF Exporter, without having to write any code. Maybe give it a try to see if it meets your needs. Matt

@[deleted] We're actually putting the final touches on Scroll Viewport Cloud right now. We hope to release it very soon. Register here to find out when it's ready: https://www.k15t.com/software/scroll-viewport/scroll-viewport-for-confluence-cloud

@Pedro Braga I happen to know who on the Confluence team is working on this feature. I'd DM you their contact info, but I guess I can't do that on here. My email is mreiner@k15t.com. Send me an email and I'll pass it your way.
-
Hey @[deleted] Nice to have you here! Check out some of the topics, especially Confluence. Lots of people doing cool stuff or looking for help. I know helping people using Confluence is your new jam.
-
Hi @[deleted], You could completely hide the Confluence UI and create a custom help center with my team's app, Scroll Viewport. Maybe have a look at what you can do with it here: https://www.k15t.com/rock-the-docs/publishing/create-a-help-center-with-scroll-viewport
-
@Liesl Ehlers I think the tutorial you watched is either for Confluence Server or for an older version of Confluence Cloud. I don't believe you can customize much of the new Confluence Cloud experience. If you're looking for a totally customized experience, you could check out these apps: *…

Hi @Gauthier Östervall It looks like you can disable this on your user account by turning of keyboard shortcuts in Confluence:…

I think the current recommendation from the Confluence Clloud team is to add these as a custom emoji: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/use-symbols-emojis-and-special-characters-724764854.html

Hey Joe, One thing that comes to mind is that maybe there is some sort of formatting applied to the images that you can't see in the editor. Try selecting the lines where the images are located and in the toolbar, use the font formatting menu to remove all formatting.
-
@[deleted] They're certainly doing a lot to bring the new editor up to speed, but it's not on par yet. From what I understand, you can reach out to Atlassian Support and they'll switch you back. Also, maybe this is helpful…

Hi @Murat Engin Aksungur , I work with the team that makes the Scroll Versions app. There's no great way to control the versioning on a page level, since Confluence handles it automatically, but you could use our app to have a space-wide version, where you can use whatever version numbering you'd like. We also have this…
-
@Thomas Blauvelt I work with the team who makes the Scroll apps for Confluence, several of which integrate with Comala Document Management. We also know the team at Comalatech, and they're really cool.
-
@Thomas Blauvelt If this is a one-time sync you want to perform, you could use use Comala Publishing.
-
@Greg Fox I'm curious why you want to get rid of this section. Are you looking to simplify the UI, or are you finding your users are confused with what to do with it?
-
@Brendan Freestone You could use the Help Center theme, which creates cards like this automatically. You can see them in action on our help site. These cards are created for each space in your help center. If you'd like a tile that takes users somewhere other than a space in the help center, you could add a space with the…

Hi Tobias, The I know the default PDF exporter has it's limitations. I know that my team's Scroll PDF Exporter app can handle multiple templates and whatever page orientation you'd like. You can even have the page be portrait orientation and mark certain pieces of content to be exported in Landscape. Let me know if you'd…
-
@czaban My team makes Scroll HTML Exporter, which some users use for this purpose. They'll set up an internal web server which hosts the content.
-
Hey @Lisa Scheuplein @Julie d_Antin _Elements_ article is spot on. That will get you the answers you need. Additionally, I got to work with a bunch of tech writers in making a guide about creating documentation in Confluence. It does have some app recommendations, including some of our own, but the guide is generally…
-
One of the product managers for Confluence Cloud said they're hoping release support for this in the new editor in the near future. No promises, but at least they know a lot of people are missing it.
-
Hi @Jan Skodzik I'm also not finding a way to do this with the built in Word exporter. The documentation specifically calls out .doc, so I'm guessing they don't support .docx today. My team makes Scroll Word Exporter, which has a lot more capabilities and exports to .docx. Might be a good solution for your team. Let me…
