Hi @sara_oconnell I'm not sure the details on your Scroll Viewport theme, but many are responsive, so they would work on mobile. So, if your mobile readers go directly to your Viewport site URL, instead of using the Confluence Mobile app, all this information should be protected.

@Nico You can create a public site with a custom domain using our app Scroll Viewport. Here's an example: https://help-cloud.k15t.com/scroll-documents/

Hi @Hari Krishnan I think Confluence is a good fit for your use case. For anyone outside the team, you can give them a Confluence user (at cost) so they can access the content as well. You can use user groups to give all outsiders only read-access to the content in your Confluence spaces. If you only need to share just a…

Hi @Hari Krishnan Confleunce is a fantastic tool for this purpose. It sounds like all your content could be put in just one space, or, if you have multiple products or major modules, you might separate your content into a few spaces. * Will this content only be accessible internally? Also, will your stakeholders be OK with…

Always the bearer of the best news, @tim Thanks for sharing.

Hi @Michel MDM Unfortunately not. The TOC is only added to the pages in the Scroll Viewport site. Given the Confluence Cloud editor, it's not possible to add one in the Confluence UI directly. 😔
-
Hey @Lewis Hall I've seen on another post that someone had to open a case with Atlassian to fix this. I'm not sure what they did, but they were able to get the setting to appear.
-
@Rhonda Ridge Public Links is a really new feature, and this is a common issue. I know they can't be enabled while Anonymous Access is. Try disabling Anonymous Access on the site-wide leve and see if the setting for Public Links appears. If this doesn't work for you, one post I read mentioned having to open a case with…
-
Hi @Rhonda Ridge You can't really limit the UI in the Anonymous view, but you could check out Public Links, which does provide a limited UI. Additionally, my team makes an app called Scroll Viewport you can use to turn your Confluence space(s) into a help center. The user experience is geared toward external readers, so…

Hi @Michel MDM This would be really fantastic in Confluence itself, but I don't think it's possible to add, even with an app. That said, if you're writing public documentation content, you could use my team's app Scroll Viewport to add such a TOC in your public help enter. You can see an example on this page.

My team put together this page on things to consider when adding images: https://www.k15t.com/rock-the-docs/creating-topics/add-images-and-videos Unfortunately, we didn't' touch on size or DPI. 🙁 I'll see if we can circle back to add that. In general, we try to follow website best practices: *…

Hi @[deleted] , Unfortunately, this is a current limitation in the new editor with an open issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-62519 I wish I had a better answer for you. 😔

Hey @Donna Marr I just saw @Michelle Rau HP recent article and thought it might be handy. She breaks down what is, and isn't, imported. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Michelle-s-quot-Five-Stages-of-Word-Import-quot-Survival-Guide/ba-p/1584915

Fantastic article @Michelle Rau HP Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with the community.

Hi @Maximilian Dollinger I’m with the team at K15t, and I think our apps will help you do what you’re looking for. * Version management * With our app Scroll Documents, you can version one or more pages as a single unit. This is great for the kinds of content management tasks you mentioned. Have a look at @Laura Parraga…
-
Hi @Fivi Konstantinou We'd love to work with you on this. Please send an email to help@k15t.com so we start looking into this with you. Also, let us know if you're using Scroll PDF Exporter or the built in Confluence PDF export.
-
Hey @Kevin Shaw I think my team's app Scroll Viewport might do the trick for you. With Scroll Viewport, you can turn your Confluence content into an online help center. Additionally, you can embed your help center content in your app using an iFrame. Here's…

Well thanks, @Kyren Wong I'm happy to be part of this great community. 🙂

Hi @Umanga Wackista-aratchie We have a list of some helpful apps to try here. I'm not a Draw.io pro user, but maybe @Boris Jockov _draw_io_ can help. There's also Gliffy, which is another diagramming tool. I've lightly used both, and I like them both. For Draw.io, I recently participated in a panel where I showed how to…

Hey @Gaetan Gaston I'm with the team behind Scroll Translations. Our app can do everything you mentioned but, the holy grail of languages, perform automatic translation. What we do support is the ability to export/import content from your default language using the .XLIFF (the industry standard translation format) so your…

Hi @Allison Beaudry If you're looking for pages to be indexed by search engines, with a custom URL, you might want to check out my team's app Scroll Viewport. The idea behinds it is to be able to turn all your documentation in Confluence into an online help center without needing to write code or run a web server. Here's…

You could be experiencing the same issue that's mentioned here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Adding-Anonymous-Access-to-Space/qaq-p/1552206#M196506
-
Hi @Abel Barreira I'm curious if you'd be able to keep the content of the documents in Confluence directly, rather than in separate documents. This would make it much easier to search and navigate. You could even use apps to create a full help center, like ours: https://help.k15t.com/ To give you an idea what could be…

This was gone for a while, but they've re-added it with a different syntax from Confluence Server: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Link-to-undefined-placeholder-pages/ba-p/1412785
-
@Daniel Rose Would you mind asking them for some documentation on public links? I've been searching for it and can't find anything online. It sounds kind of like what's mentioned here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-32999
-
Hey @David Leigh Is it critical that all the content is kept on a single page, or could the different bits you want shared and not shared be on separate pages? If they can be separated, I think you could have some more options. For example, on my team's app Scroll Viewport, you can add a label to those pages you don't want…

@Marine Da Costa There really isn't a limit, though, at some point you may become overwhelming if there are too many variants to choose from. I would aim for 10 rather than 100. :)
-
I know this is a small thing, but I broke into a huge smile when I saw this in the Confluence Server editor (sadly, it's not in Cloud). When you hover over your icon in the list of collaborators, this little "It's you, but smaller!" message appears. It's so clever! Shout out to @Rachel Robins for this amazing bit of text.…
-
Hi @Tal Levin Of course! Here's my calendar, feel free to select whatever time works for you.

Hi @Leena Haapoja For this, I would recommend my team's app Scroll Versions. With the content variants feature, you can specify variants of your content, like change a word based on Cloud or Server, and then export the content:…
