Hi @Mark Bergmans We created a plugin called Agile Docs which can create this style of CSV for you. Tasks and Stories are displayed as line items under Epics and Sub-Tasks are displayed under Tasks until a new line of Epics is started. There is a hierarchyLevel field which indicates which level of nesting you are at (top…

Hi @Danielle Barringer As mentioned above, you can represent the link to each parent using the Epic Link field in a Company Managed Project or Parent field in a Team Managed Project. If you also want your issues to be nested in your CSV, we created a plugin called Agile Docs which can do this. If you're using a Company…

Hi @kheckaman1 We put together a plugin called Agile Docs which lets you visualise your entire Epic, including Tasks and Sub-tasks. You can also set the fields you want to display for each issue. So you can set Due Date and Assignee to display. Let me know if this is what you're looking for. Best Regards, Rhys

Hi @Lars Blaschka We put together a plugin called Agile Docs which can do this. You can select a filter which contains the Epics you want and Agile Docs will bring up those Epics and every issue under each Epic in a nested tree list. Let me know if this is what you're looking for. Best Regards, Rhys

Hi @Liesl Jordaan I understand your first choice was to be able to do this without an additional app, but just letting you know if you decide to go in that direction, we put together an app called Agile Docs which can do this. Are the labels for phases attached to the Epic or the Story level? If they're attached to the…

Hi @Gilles TETENOIRE The only way to do this in Jira is to use Advanced Roadmaps, but that requires you to upgrade to Jira Cloud Premium. We created a plugin called Agile Docs which also does this. It lets you visualise all the Epics, Tasks and Sub-tasks in your project in a tree. Opens up right inside your project for…

Hi @Gregoria Pinkley There isn't a way to show the complete hierarchy in your Epics in a single query on a standard plan. You can do this in Advanced Roadmaps but you have to upgrade to Jira Cloud Premium. We put together a plugin called Agile Docs which can also do this. You can select any saved filter for Epics (or any…

Hi @atarab So the issue is you want to log time against sub-tasks and roll up those estimates to parent Stories, then to Epics and report progress in terms of time spent / remaining estimate? We put together a plugin called Agile Docs which does exactly this. It rolls up time estimates from Sub-tasks all the way up to User…

Hi @Amy Kilbury You can use Jira's built-in automation feature and set it to trigger when time is logged against an issue. If you want something which doesn't require any set up we put together a plugin called Agile Docs. It maintains fields for the summed up time logged on parent Epics: It also reports on time logged all…

Hi @Benjamin Buchwald You can use Jira's built-in automation feature and trigger it when time is logged against an issue. If you want something which works out of the box we put together a plugin called Agile Docs. It maintains fields for the summed up time logged on parent Epics: It also reports on time logged all the way…

Hi @Januka Wijesinghe We put together a plugin called Agile Docs which lets you do this. You can select your filter for Epics (ie issuetype = Epic AND fixVersion = yourRelease) and Agile Docs will bring up all Epics AND child issues of each Epic. Here is a screenshot where I've brought up all Epics with the fixVersion…

Hi @Duran There are a few plugins which generate time reports. We created one called Agile Docs which you can open from directly inside your project dashboard and works out of the box. It builds the report based on the time tracking fields in Jira so you can track the total time logged / total time remaining at any level…

Hi @Chris Rehder If I understand you correctly, you not only want to view all issues in your filter, you also want to see the children of those issues in a nested tree list. We put together a plugin called Agile Docs which does exactly that. You can select any filter you like and Agile Docs will bring up those issues and…

Hi @Prasad Kulkerni As mentioned above there are number of apps which can do this. Our app Agile Docs can do this for you in a couple of way. You can view a report of the rolled up time logged for each Epic directly in the app while seeing the time logged against your entire hierarchy. You can also set the total time…

Hi @Bjarke One way to do this as mentioned above is to create an extra level of hierarchy above Epics using Advanced Roadmaps. Another way is to group Epics together by filter using Agile Docs, a plugin we created. To see all the Epics across all your projects, create a JQL filter for those Epics. You can then bring up…
-
Hi @daljitsb My understanding is you're looking to: 1) Select a JQL filter for Epics with a certain status or component. 2) See all Stories and Sub-tasks in the hierarchy underneath those Epics. I created a plugin called Agile Docs which can do this. Select your filter for Epics which matches your component or status…

Hi @Kenneth Ng A bit late, but I created an add-on called Agile Docs which lets you track Epic progress for any project on a single page. It works out of the box for any project so you don't need to set it up. Each level also expands if you want to also see the progress of child issues. Hope that helps! Best Regards, Rhys
-
Hi @Javier , To my knowledge this isn't possible in Jira natively but I put together an add-on called Agile Docs which does this. I know you said you pay a good amount for Jira already but it sounds like it's exactly what you're looking for. You can select any saved filter, specify the top level issue type you want (for…

Hi @Ben Thomson Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately Agile Docs no longer supports creating Tasks under Stories. Most people were using sub-tasks under their stories so that was the direction we decided to go. There are other add-ons I could recommend for this but I'm not sure if they'd carry through to the 'Plan' view…
-
Hi @Tomislav Hrelja I created an addon called Program Tree which makes this possible. 1) Create a program 2) Define your parent issues and which issues will be the children of each issue using JQL. 3) Save your program You now have multi-level program using only tasks and sub-tasks. Let me know what you think! Best…

If anyone wanted to use Advanced Roadmaps mainly to get a birds-eye of their program on a single page, I recently released Program Tree. It's compatible with both Next-Gen and Classic projects. It doesn't have a timeline view for planning like Advanced Roadmaps, but lets you: - Group all your projects and issues into a…

Hi @Sugandha Singh I tried this approach but am still getting the same error: Any idea what I could be missing?

Hi Gustavo, I put together an extension called Agile Docs to help with this. Opens up right inside the project dashboard and gives you a breakdown of how far along your project is in terms of % rolled up estimates completed. Works for time tracking and story point estimates. Hope that helps! Best Regards, Rhys

I've encountered this problem too. I resorted to saving everything that needs indexing in JSON. Not having to store these properties as JSON to use them in JQL searches would be helpful.
-
Hi @Pierre Jacobs My understanding is that dashboard development is the same as regular connect app development, except you specify in your atlassian-connect.json file you want the app to appear in the dashboard. To build a connect app, You can use atlassian-conncet-express. Instructions on how to develop the app is on…

Hi @Edmond Victor The "Story point estimate" field is available on sub-tasks by default when you create a new next-gen scrum project. If you want to add the "Story points" field to sub-tasks on an existing classic project, you need to configure the custom fields and screens of the sub-task issuetype. There is good step by…

Hi @Betsy B . Unfortunately I've had to put it on hold. It will still be quite a while away. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have a server version coming soon. :)

Hi Senthil. Not at the moment, but there is an export to PDF option.

Hi @Glenn Clapp You can roll up the progress of each Epic and track them as a unit in Agile Docs. Say each Epic tied to a product has a specific label. You can create a Quick Filter which refers to each Epic in a product and bring it up in Agile Docs. Agile Docs will roll up the stories in each Epic to give an Epic…
