1) You can increase the memory to prevent future problems - as both JIRA and Confluence runs in the same server and expecting that users will increase in future - workflows will increase in future - you can increase some memory , say around 36 GB And in the future - you can move over to JIRA DataCenter Version. This will…
-
How many active users - projects - issues - workflows do you have ? Based on these data you can make a decision on what to do next - if you want to further increase memory or not. Also, if there are any plugins that you think is not needed - you can disable them.
-
Like I said - 17GB consumption with JIRA and Confluence both running in the same server should not be an issue . You still have 9GB of memory that you can play with - which is a lot of memory. I would suggest you to assess with time as to how memory spikes with users working actively. 26GB for start seems fine to me.
-
Also , memory consumption from 10% to 40% doesn't seem to be much of any issue to me though. Confluence has it's own memory usage and " SYNCRONY - the collaboration logic of Confluence" must also be using some memory - it should be fine. But what is your current memory allocation in the server ?
-
Not necessarily - what memory have you allocated to the server at the moment ?

You can upgrade confluence and jira and still use the same license - it is not a problem. Yeah - so try accessing Confluence from your webbrowser now hostname/ip:port number
-
The current license for Confluence will still hold valid even after you upgrade to a newer version of Confluence. There should not be any issue in terms of configuring JIRA and Confluence with the new version ( at least the versions that you are talking about ) JIRA or/and Confluence - upgrade will not impact your license.…
-
It can be done at Database level but changing issue key is not a recommended action though - read the following KD on project key change and issue key change. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/changing-the-project-key-format-861253229.html
-
Any reason why you want the same issue-key ?

1) Outlook for JIRA - check this plugin , its should work for you. 2) JIRA Notification Scheme can accomodate this case - based on your notification scheme and profile settings , notifications will be triggered and generated.
-
JIRA User Management has two picture to it ; 1) Internal User Directory - Directly create a user id in JIRA or invite via email and he/she can log in to JIRA from any location 2) External User Directory - JIRA is integrated with an external user management system in an organization. Based on the configuration , all users…
-
You could have used the developer license I guess that comes with your purchased license.
-
I'd suggest you to kill all JIRA processes - do a fresh restart , ensure that your id has all permissions under JIRA filesystem and check the logs again as it restarts. Also check catalina.out log.
-
Also, the user id that you used to upgrade - is it the same as the one that was used to initially install jira or if it is different - does it have all the required permissions under JIRA filesystem - application and home directory.
-
When you did the upgrade - did you specify everything correctly ? Looks like post upgrade the properties files dont point to the right home directory of JIRA.
-
use the same board filter - it will show the same tickets/issues in both boards.
-
Also , if it is a timeout issue - try increasing the time declared for starting plugins . This can be defined in your jvm parameters. Datlassian.plugins.enable.wait=500 ( or value as per your perusal - but i would say 500 is more than enough)
-
Yes you can. But Atlassian strictly recommends NOT doing so. Upgrading one application makes the other also unavailable. Why not use APACHE TOMCAT that comes bundled with JIRA and Confluence and run them instead in their own and separate APACHE TOMCAT ?
-
Not necessarily - it is isolated from impacts of JIRA license. Unless , you've upgraded or downgraded your jira user license count - plugin license will have to follow suit. Again - not all plugins are user count dependent :-)
-
Also , is the upload automated ? if yes have you give all permissions to the id to perform upload in the required space/page
-
And confirming that your data/attachment is not configured to be stored elsewhere right ?
-
Hey can you check the error when you try to upload the video file ? Can you recreate the task and error ? I feel like your problem is not related to this error.
-
Looking at error message - looks like a space issue to me . Where did you exactly make additional disk spaces addition ? Hope it's where it's needed.
-
Yup - it has cloud , server and data center version. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213138/outlook-email-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=versions

If you read what the Burndown Chart talks about - it says ; How to read this chart Track the total work remaining and project the likelihood of achieving the sprint goal. This helps your team manage its progress and respond accordingly. If your stories in SPRINT has Story Points declared - depending on what has been…

There are a couple of good plugins that help you integrate JIRA and Outlook . Yes you need to install plugin on JIRA and some manual configurations in your machine and it will work fine. Check this one out - we've used it before and works fine ;…
-
Did you check your log files ? Looks like you are on server version - check the error log messages while you see the errors at front end.
-
I think you should raise a ticket with Atlassian. As you are on cloud, I don't think you can view logs . So it is better to contact Atlassian with all your details.
-
I don't think there is any concept of Teams in a project in JIRA. You can have issues assigned to users in a project . Those users can have various roles in the project and based on the role - they are permitted to work on issues in a project.
