Does it show installed ?

does it show like this ?

Go to applications and check if jira software is installed

One example I can mention here Peter with respect to server.xml so that it helps you understand is this. We had this Kantega SSO plugin to be implemented for JIRA. One change that was needed for making this happen was edit the server.xml and change one packet size parameter inside it. So what happens is after an upgrade -…

As long as any app is lightweight and doesnt pull down the performance - it is always welcome. I for one hate Synchrony on Confluence for pulling memory and also eazybi in JIRA.
-
I'd love to give it a shot next time it is open.
-
I guess with time clients would start sharing datas - building trust takes time. And also primarily some are concerned about performance impact I guess if this remains enabled.
-
My problem has always been with issue archiving as the bulk grows. Why don't we have option to archive and compress old issues.
-
@Jiri Pik I'd suggest you add the addin timeout param in your jvm argument. give plugins sufficient time to start . That should work.
-
How foolish of me that I had forgotten to check my JVM arguments after upgrade. Restored my argument back and it works fine now - plugin is up. My jvm had plugin timeout params before - it was removed after upgrade. restored them back

Interestingly , Jiri and Andrew - I noticed this on my 7.8 jira server version as well.

Did you check that Tempo needs an update before taking it to 7.8 ? I had faced it - maybe that's why it was disabled. Did you check Tempo had an update ?
-
Logs perhaps James - they speak volumes.
-
Guess this will also combine and read them as one project
-
Wouldn't that combine them and display together ?
-
Try creating a filter that combines two projects and then use the created vs resolved gadget maybe :-)
-
This looks more like what and application administrator would want and what a vendor management would want :p
-
Isn't having an add-on the best way to any tool ? Rather than bringing down the whole application for a small glitch - why not focus all issues and requirements differently. This is more like dealing with microservices. My opinion alone :-) - but yes , I love the way it is. Every part of JIRA or Confluence can be dealt -…
-
I'd start by looking at server memory allocations - confluence memory and collaborative editing memory allocation to begin with :-) .
-
ok - so the whole intent is different here. You'd want to explore possibilities rather than run your enterprise on it for the moment.
-
Using an unsupported database would lead to confusion I would say. Issues you would face and have no idea why it happens.

Andrew - I have a question here . Is it expected that with refresh using xml import app links also get copied ? I have been doing refresh quite a lot using xml backup. My test jira using its app link connects to test confluence. When I do a refresh - app link is always retained. test jira pointing to test confluence By…

Thank you Andrew - I'll be watching the BUG.

I've had this issue in the past - reimporting the SSL Certificate did resolve my issue.

It was like 4-5 years back - when I introduced apache http infront of jira and confluence - it broke my app link. I just settled with creating and unproxied link between the two. Just a thought - is the cert issuing authority same for both the certs and have they been applied in both truststores ?
