@Yogesh MudeNo it isn't Server version.
-
What is needed to run Synchrony is a good amount of system memory . SSL should not hamper its working.
-
Oh! you can use evaluation license then , no issues at all ;-) , done that myself too haha
-
Like Thomas highlighted - JIRA and all add-ons come with developers licenses , you can use evaluation in Prod, no issues but try it on your Dev Instances if you are using evaluation just for testing purpose. After you buy one, you can always replace evaluation with dev license.
-
But why evaluation license on Production ?
-
I use apache http server for my confluence - it's a simple one line on my ssl configuration file that points to my ssl cert and key ( in one single file or two different files ) Depending on how I am leveraging my application - I may also have to import it on my confluence keystore.
-
This looks more like " cloud service availability " issue to me .
-
An image of error screen would help understand more.

I had a tough time myself when AJP was introduced with JIRA for the first time. Eventually, it has been smooth. The take away is this - you will have quite a smooth JIRA upgrades( system admin perspective) now that you know what could get reset on server.xml file during upgrade :p Congratulations on your learning journey -…
-
For now, stop the service and see if you can start the application from under the /bin directory..
-
@Charan Singh That is a very bad upgrade path that you've jumped . There is a huge gap between 5.7.1 and 6.8.3. Please avoid skipping so many important releases between them. If you have a backup - restore back to 5.7.1 and take a better upgrade path.
-
@Greg Johnson I'd see - less attention more stable :p . But the new JIRA Software does have the Cloud kinda look and feel. I just be more happy if Server gets its project archival features like in data centre and this new super integration between ; jira server and confluence server jira cloud and confluence server jira…

* I do an automated stop and start every night - it is scheduled as per my database stop and start. I JIRA shuts down first - then my DB shuts down . After a while, by DB starts and then my JIRA starts. They are all automated. * Cache - not quite sure which cache you are hinting at. * I run an automated - background…

Do a foreground reindex with a lock.

@Alexey Matveev I'm having a tough time creating a datasource. Could you help me ? I am doing everything on localhost. I've selected Prometheus as a type. what should be my url ? It says default prometheus server url on 9090. But I have installed only plugin - not server.
-
Did the full retart complete ? By the way, these aren't ERROR - they are warning.
-
Rename the index folder - restart JIRA , it will rebuild a fresh new index , will take time to restart depending on your environment and index size. I ask you to rename instead of delete as it will act like a backup - instead of completely deleting the folder. Let me know if that works.
-
@Mark Lapierre You may want to get in touch with Zephyr Support instead you know Mark. They maybe able to better understand the behaviour of Zephyr .
-
And do a restart - please monitor your log during restart with tail -f

Kill this root 1668 1410 2 17:54 pts/0 00:00:28 /opt/atlassian/confluence/jre/bin/java -classpath /opt/atlassian/confluence/temp/2.1.0-release-confluence_6.5-1a01ab2d.jar:/opt/atlassian/confluence/confluence/WEB-INF/lib/postgresql-42.1.1.jar -Xss2048k -Xmx1g synchrony.core
-
Did you also kill the synchrony process ?
-
You will see synchrony running with a separate PROCESS ID - something like -synchrony.core
-
@Fábio Cabrita Go for ps -ef|grep java Check all your confluence process and KILL them . Also check synchrony process and kill that too. And then try a fresh restart. Also what is your JVM memory allocation ?
-
We would love to see this on server version too.
-
The agile face of JIRA i.e. JIRA Software does certainly confuse a lot of new users. I for myself started using jira when jira just had jira core and nothing - when they split JIRA software and jira core - it was a bit confusing. I think the reason behind this is the word " SOFTWARE". Software is a generic term - JIRA is a…
-
@Kelly Carter You will have your attachments folder in your windows - you can just copy from window and pplace it in your linux server. If you have installed jira in linux already - it will have also the same folder structure. Just copy and paste the attachment folder.

Try asking here ; https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
-
Your filters have gone amiss my friend - you'll have to correct them.
-
Create a VM in Cloud - run JIRA in that VM instead :-)
