Yup - check the following document and increase your JVM memory depending on whether your server is Linux or Windows ; https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/increasing-jira-application-memory-861253796.html

Nope. It is not the right thing to do. It has always been advised to use data imports for same version of Confluence or JIRA . It may work - but the problems that could come with it could be serious and without any proper explanation. I would advise you to upgrade Confluence with the data in it instead of using just data…

Sergio - I am sure there must be a table in the database that stores the Confluence version it was working with but I am not sure which table name it is. Maybe you can work with some database administrator - import the backup in a new SQL Server , and have him look for the tablename . Raise a ticket with Atlassian and ask…

Does you server still have the file system of the previous installation ? Or is that also not available ?
-
This is a good article. Can we have one use case to better represent the scenario ? What type of issue types do you think would we be making use of ? I can imagine a simple workflow - but I cannot think of any issue type fitting a Contract Management , maybe because I never worked with a Contract Management Group :p .
-
If you are using it alone - I don't see much of a memory problem. If you are planning to run automated jobs - add more users in the future - I advise you to increase your JVM allocation to atleast 1024MB or 2048 MB
-
It looks like your Confluence is also running on the same server with port 8090. So specifically point JIRA to run in 8080 . When you start doing the setup , it will ask you to create one administrator user .

That is a very strange behaviour - it should either be imported or not imported at all. There is no such restrictions to number of comments being imported. Have you checked the latest comment dates and your import backup date ? I hope your backup is not older than the comment and that it includes the new comments too.

Yes - if the issue is missing , then it must have been deleted. I don't think JIRA skips any key when creating an issue. It is either created or deleted.

If you are on 6.14 or above - have you tried this ;
-
Advanced Search option are available from 6.14 and above - before 6.14 I guess we had something called full search.
-
That's a very tricky question. Well - I'd do a totally new confluence installation with a new database. Then I'd use the DB backup that you have and import it to the newly created database.

He need to add that particular task to his view or she should be a member of that group.
-
Nope - issue key is everything that an issue depends on - not possible.
-
Are you an administrator ? If not , get help from someone who has administrator privilege to find if viewing permission is what you lack. Also, do you know any one of those Tasks ? If you can find one , use the Open on Board option to get to your board (if you still have it) Else, I'd suggest you raise a support ticket to…

So your Database is enabled to accept SSL connections right ?
-
Try using built-in gadgets in the Dashboard - maybe you will find some of your requirements fulfilled via gadgets on dashboard

My first priority would be the database - you seem to be using an unsupported database , so that could have so many unknown problems. Your reindexing is also failing . I think you should first use the right version of database to being with.
-
Looks like your JIRA has just too many problems.
-
Any error message that you can share from the screen or the logfiles ?
-
Nothing in the logs ?
-
Your JIRA must be using synced users from external user directory ( LDAP AD ) . Maybe that's why it is on read-only mode.
-
Your insufficient heap memory could also be the reason why your automatic indexing is ineffective. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/automatic-indexing-not-working-789095505.html

Read this one as well ; https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/searching-and-indexing-troubleshooting-180847237.html

This is a very interesting issue . I'd love to here how you'd get this resolved. Have you read the following ; https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/content-index-administration-148844.html 1) Could be your search indexing process is slow ? 2) Could be your memory is low ? There could be so many reasons - but basically your…

Daniela - try running a project reindexing and then try closing the sprint again.
-
Have you made any changes recently - like some memory consuming plugins , or any other application running in the same server ? Did you monitor your cpu / memory usage recently ? Has synchrony been always running in your server before this crash started occurring ? How does your jvm look like ? I've faced situation like…
-
As you are using JIRA Cloud Version, I'd suggest you to raise a ticket with Atlassian.

Why would anyone restart when there is a reindex in progress . You should reschedule your restart or reindex time.

There is a concept of anonymous users - if anonymous users are allowed to view a space or page , the content is visible to non-confluence users.
