These should be mentioned in your SSL Config file - corresponding to what is on your server.xml file.

Are you sure your credentials are fine ? :p
-
Are your ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse configured well to point to AJP Host and Port ?
-
Rehnuma - have you installed Confluence as a service ? If so, check if the Service is stopping/starting properly.

I think ensure all your plugins are compatible with new version of JIRA - atleast make sure you get your important plugins checked. You can run a check - if you know where the option is. I feel Upgrade is as easy as Install - in fact Atlassian JIRA upgrade has an automated robust backup system as well when you do an…

Thanks Aleks - this one also gives me the same results . Can you explain what is the difference between the two ? I know they give the same result in this scenario of mine - but I know they are two different jql .
-
Nah , just place it here \atlassian-confluence-6.7.2\atlassian-confluence-6.7\ and run the installer.
-
You need to place just the .jar file not the whole folder :-)
-
Restart JIRA and try configuration one more time,
-
After you've downloaded it - place it in /lib folder under your JIRA Installation directory.

Use the below link and download the jdbc driver ; https://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/Connector-J/mysql-connector-java-5.1.45.zip

Email Address is the username if you log into Atlassian Accounts :p - happy exploring.

Yes - if you are running Confluence for an enterprise , ensure that you have active license. Download the file and just run it - pretty simple, follow steps as it prompts. Backups are a part of upgrade - just select yes when it asks . Ensure all your plugins are compatible with the new version.

In JIRA - I normally go to the user management and RESET CAPTCHA - helps me solve the problem like this. Not sure if it is the same problem. Have you checked the log while you enter the credentials ?
-
You know Chris - If I had been you , I'd start with simple JIRA installation. 1) Try doing a standalone installation - JIRA has Application Server( Apache Tomcat) and Internal Database( H2) that comes bundled , so both get installed automatically with it, 2) Next - try using External DB that comes with XAMPP. I am assuming…

You might as well WATCH the BUG to get updates yourself.

The fact that you actually can MAKE CHANGES TO A SPACE THAT RESTRICTS YOU FROM SEEING - is your Admin Right privileges even though you were restricted initially. While the same privilege is not available for non-admin users - they may not be able to see contents of restricted space AND also not able to do anything about it…

Does user have the primary groups added to it ? confluence-users ?
-
Why not install JIRA separately and then point your Apache HTTP from your XAMPP to JIRA - with the XAMPP database behind JIRA. You can certainly give it a try :-) . I haven't tried it - just a thought.

Also, under user management, can you tell me what is the value for DIRECTORY - Is it JIRA Internal Directory ?
-
What JIRA version are you on Jennifer ?
-
Jennifer - can you attach an image of your screen please?
-
The user that you are trying to edit - did you create it yourself or was it synced from somewhere else ?
-
Jennifer - are you JIRA Administrator ? Do you have all permissions? Can you see if you are added to JIRA Administrator group ?
-
-
If it is internal directory - you do not need to deactivate - it should change the email id
-
Jennifer - does your JIRA use Active Directory or JIRA Internal Directory for user management ?
-
Does the SHARED icon show anyone ?
-
Why not connect JIRA to an Active Directory instead ? I see a good time for you to make this change and administer user authentication centrally - and bulk changes are always possible via AD. Or may be considering that you use internal directory - why not run a DB query to make the replacement of all user email addresses,…
