Are your two environments connected to each other in any way right now ?
-
I've heard a lot about data integrity issue while using data of one database to another - do check that as well and let us know :-)
-
* Go to system info under SYSTEMs in Admin Console. You will find it under JIRA Info. * Open your log files - every time it restarts, the log has the server id there as well. * If you are the registered account at atlassian - check there as well, your account has the server id detail as per your license ( paid or…
-
Also, can you be a little more serious about your issues ? You have given almost no detail at all ( even after EDITING the post - doesn't look like a question to me at all, mere punctuation too could have helped ) .
-
Try checking for java processes running just to be sure; ps -ef | grep java See if that shows any confluence pid.
-
@Brandon Arathoon Any developments Brandon ?
-
Thank you @Monique vdB and @Mirek for your replies. I think I can only relate to a mobile app giving " ease of access " compared to browser. It could be my personal experience alone :-) . But hey thanks for all that you guys do to make Atlassian so friendly as a product brand and solution.
-
I am sorry I cannot type the whole configuration here - but the answer to your question is YES :-)
-
Has he tried opening the url on his phone in DESKTOP mode rather than Mobile mode.
-
Maybe - when you check his phone browser as it redirects to your SSO url - have you checked whether it gets renamed to mobile version, say, m.yourcomany.sso.net and maybe your organization sso url is just yourcompany.sso.net
-
What do the logs say ?
-
Check your default backup location - that must have been changed.
-
You can always add and delete gadgets - choose the best gadget you need and remove the rest. You can also move gadgets left - right - up and down :-)
-
Did this today as I had made some changes to my workflow and it went so smooth and perfect. Bravo Atlassian.
-
I don't think that's an Atlassian question :p . You should find that out with your organization that handles and administers DNS Servers - presumably your AWS guys.
-
That's a tough one - unless your old firm is ready to compromise and activate your account back. I doubt any organization would do that. Why not start again - this is a community brimming with activities, you can always get back to more than 10 answers :p .

Script and Documentation for ?
-
Login to JIRA - go to User Management - on the extreme left column , you will see the type of directory used , if it is internal jira directory - it says so as displayed,
-
As for users and groups - you need to do it at database( considering you are using JIRA INTERNAL DIRECTORY)
-
Go to your atlassian account - for the same server id you will get developers id...copy it and paste it on your test environment,
-
I am not an expert - but I have a basic idea I'd say about some implementations ; * New Dev Efforts can run under sprints, releases or components in one single project. Why not go for Scrum ? * Not quite sure about how you'd want to use Confluence .
-
Are you trying to login into your atlassian account ? You are posting here so I am sure you are in already. :p Ask an admin to check your profile - RESET CAPTCHA if needed. Ask an admin if you are a member of any group or not . Lastly, ARE YOU SURE THAT YOUR ACCOUNT IS NOT LOCKED OUT ? :-)
-
Yup - it's a known issue.
-
Well 7.7.0 for sure has a long way to go before it reaches its EOF. * Did the upgrade go fine ? * Have you checked versions after upgrade ? * Does it reflect correct everywhere ? * How about the Upgrade History ? Does the upgrade details show up there too ?
-
Did you recently upgrade or something?
-
The does your db user/schema have all permissions on the database ?
-
I'm not sure if the issue was related to this version of JIRA Software but when I was on 7.9.1 i was not able to access marketplace - we had option to manage add-ons but no option to visit marketplace. may be that was one of the big issues in that version. Then I moved over to 7.9.2 and had the marketplace option restored.
-
I think you are more than ready - anything new and fresh means your mind is all set to grasp better and faster. All the best.
-
I used to be a JIRA Admin - but now I work more as an Atlassian System Admin. But yes - working as JIRA Admin has helped me better perform as System Admin. I also handle a lot of other applications - digital assets, risk analysts and so on but I love working in JIRA and Confluence.
-
@Julio Valdez You mean you want JIRA issues to be visible on Confluence page ? Or something more than that ? Simple application link between JIRA and Confluence has always made that possible.
