Hi @Kathryn Westwood On a free instance, you're given 10 users max. which means you can only use 10 users total on all applications. If you have confluence, Jira software, JSM etc all will be a collective count of those users. I will suggest, you review your entire user list again from the admin hub and check the users who…

Hi @jlee Please could you elaborate more on your question?
-
Hi @Alex Most probably the user's email may have been blocked. Reach out to Atlassian support for assistance.
-
- Are there any risks (i.e., updating of data inadvertently for any other projects)? * Atlassian cloud has many authentication methods ranging from API token to JWT to OAuth - all of which are secured. So i will say none except human error. - Is there any recommended browser extension or plugin need to be used? * You need…
-
Hey @Gokul Pradheep It seems that the backup manager isn't working right now. So just wait a while. I believe Atlassian is already on top of it and the service will be restored soon.

Hi @Vinay Sharma Welcome to community. To manage a project even via REST API follows the same permission you would have on the UI, the difference being you can control one outside of Jira's platform. However, why would you like to manage a Jira project programmatically? Is there any feature within the UI that restricts you…

You can probably look for an addon that has analytic and can track such information within your forms. I don't know of anyone particularly but worth searching on Atlassian marketplace.
-
Hey @Gokul Pradheep hmm this is strange, it seems that your user can't make the request. If you're using a free cloud instance it could explain why the page just reloads and nothing happens.

Hi @Alejandra González Welcome to community! You need to configure your workflow in a way that the transition step is always available from the customer portal. You can use the "All transition to this status" on the workflow to achieve that.
-
I can't see any attachment, can you attach the file again?
-
Hi @Gokul Pradheep Welcome to community! Can you check on your browser's development console under "network" tab to see if there's any error shown there?
-
Hi @Earl McCutcheon Thank you very much. Your answer confirms the hunch I've been having and clearly expands on the reason behind it. It all makes sense for data integrity. Thanks again!
-
Then you should do it in a way that 1. You can easily change the scope in future. 2. It doesn't increase bottleneck when a new requirement comes in. I will suggest you go with the following 1. Create multiple security levels based on the users you want access to such level and use these security levels on each issue type.…

You can look into automations, but I would like to ask what's the reason behind restriction per issue type?
-
Hey @Franzi Joseph If using an installed app, there's a possibility it can affect the performance if it becomes too excessive. What you should do is know the total number of mails that is sent on a daily basis and try not to exceed that by a large margin. For example, if you're sending 1K mails through that app per day,…

Hi @francisco Welcome to community! Creation of tickets on JSM depends on your project configuration, if you allowed anyone to raise or ticket or people added by your team. If it's open to the public, anyone can create a ticket. A question would be did you place a form on some website that anyone can fill up and submit or…
-
Hi @Franzi Joseph Welcome to community. I don't think mails sent by Jira shouldn't reflect on your instance's performance as that should be a different service on its own such as the SMTP server that is configured for outgoing mails (but I might be wrong haven't thought of using Jira that way).
-
Hey @Joao Zampa Since searching via email address wouldn't work for inactive users, I suggest you extract all the list of atlassian users (active or inactive) and save it to a file or configuration then refer to that file or configuration and get the user you need rather than calling the api all the time. However you might…
-
Hey @James Ross Did you try to post some screenshots? Can't see any!
-
Hi @Hector Hood There's no rate limit per say, however it does have a soft way of limiting the API if the request becomes too excessive. So if you want to make calls to it, go with reduced concurrency (2 request per minute) that way you don't end up receiving errors like 429.
-
Hi @Hector Hood Any form of limit is based on the permissions the user has on the instance and not necessarily limiting what features the API can access. With Atlassian access, you can control the user token generated in terms of deleting it off.
-
Hey @James Ross Most probably you're using different organization or it could be something else such as your user can't view the contents of that page (I doubt this might be the case though). You should see the below when you click on "Products". Please can you show a visual of what you see from your end? Also block out…
-
Hey @Ludvig Hede If you have Premium or Enterprise plan there's no additional cost for the sandbox feature as that's included. Although if you upgrade to Premium and didn't downgrade before the trial end date, you will be charged. If you've downloaded add-ons within a sandbox environment and the trial period for such is…

Hi @Ventsislav With cookies you use username:password, what syntax do you use with PAT?
-
Hi @Angela Trigg (Quarles) Welcome to community! Adding customers on JSM requires an email address as a form of user identification. There's no way to add a customer without associating it to an email address. I believe zendesk also requires an email address when creating a customer account. So if you would like a way to…
-
Hi @MICHAEL T SORIANO Welcome to community! You will first need to define the fields in your create issue screen. Add the custom fields required to that screen; go to "Projects > Screen". The other thing you could do is defining the standard value per field. You can use Automation to fill that up after it's created or…
-
Hi @James Ross Welcome to community! Are all the products you have subscribed to under the same organization? If yes you should see this under "Products" overhead menu from your admin hub.
-
Congratulation @Gonchik Tsymzhitov
-
Hey @Pete Piro Thanks for the screenshot, do you mind checking on your browser's dev console under network tab to see the error that is thrown(error with context) when this action is performed? That would give a clearer indication of what might be causing the problem or what is the likely cause.

Hi @hristo.iliev You can look into automation for jira to ensure that tickets resolved stays resolved.
