You can create a project's configuration using the shared permission to a new one via using this API. /rest/project-templates/1.0/createshared/{projectId} however, I'm not certain that will copy a Portal's configuration.

Hi @Harshit Somani Welcome to community! You can be able to use any language to code on Jira Cloud. with Python you can use micro web-framework such as Flask or bottle or web-framework such as Django, the options are endless. You can incorporate bootstrap in your UI design instead of using the ADG3 called Atlaskit if you…

Hi @Carla Pasquali Welcome to community! I believe on the workflow there's a "All of the following condition or Any of the following conditions" on the transition setup, what option do you have selected "All" or "Any"? because either option will determine the action that's taken by the condition.

Hi @Stakater SRE _ 1 Welcome to community! What endpoint are you using for the project creation via API?
-
Hi @Derek Fields _RightStar_ I don't think an exposed API exist. well not that i've seen any yet.
-
Hi @Mesa de Ayuda Adsum Welcome to community! There's no strict limit on the number or size of the import via csv. most probably your browser might crash if the file is simply too large say greater than 1GB. Looking at 50k issues that's a small relative number.

Hi @victoriasargsyan96 Welcome to community! you will need to re-evaluate your permission scheme to ensure you don't have it set to "Any logged in user". next, change the permission schemes to only allow Project roles in the Browse project permissions. That way, only users in a specific project with access can view the…

Thank you @Bill Sheboy this helps a lot in knowing what to add on next in my examples. Appreciate it.

Glad to help out @elkrivertom if the above solved your query. Please kindly accept the answer, so other users can apply the same solution.
-
Mystery solved. Thanks for updating us. Have a good day ahead.
-
Hi @elkrivertom Thank you very much for the detail. Here are some steps to take: * Try logging on Incognito browser mode to see if there's any difference. * Try another browser just to make sure its not across. * If those fail, try resetting your Google profile (a) chrome://settings/reset This will direct you to "Reset and…

Hi @elkrivertom Please check on your account via admin.atlassian.com, to see if your user actually have a valid license to use confluence by being added to the confluence-user group for Product access.

Hi @Liviu Florea I actually have a library where i'm trying to make extracting data from Jira Cloud easier via REST API. Here's an example code to extract attachment information using python and searching with JQL. You can see how I implemented the method here on Github on line 265. from jiraone import LOGIN, PROJECT user…
-
Hi @Liviu Florea What endpoint did you use? I would use the GET Issue endpoint if I want to get the full url for an attachment from an issue then output the result. I can show an example but it's in python would that be preferable?
-
The future is looking bright with Cloud. I love it.
-
Hi @Bill Sheboy Thanks for your comment.I see basically site-admins or Project admins only using it to collect data from their Instances. I was thinking in the areas of when they simply want to know what's going on within a Project without navigating and checking each item one by one.

Simply Love it...

Hi @sujata Birajdar when I did mine, I used let's encrypt SSL following these steps on ubuntu server and entering the details (i.e. my email address) on the prompts. I had apache httpd running and configured it via a proxy. add-apt-repository ppa:certbot/certbot apt-get update apt-get install python-certbot-apache certbot…

Hey @Jesse Eversole Javascript won't be executed on Cloud, these are part of Cloud's restricted functions. So if you want to test such, it's better you get a Jira Server instance to test it up.
-
Hi @Radhika Muppala You will need to use an App password with gmail for Basic Authentication. I believe this should be deprecated soon in favour of OAuth. However basic auth still works with an App password.
-
Hey @Jennifer Chao As of Jira 8.14 I believe Personal API token is available Under Profile > Personal access tokens, do you happen to know what version you have? If yes, then you can use such and Integrate with other systems.
-
Hi @Liviu Florea Welcome to Community! You will need to parse the url in the API to get the right link for you to be able to download attachments.
-
Hi @[deleted] I think you're using the directory wrong. If your confluence is not installed in any directory, it should be like http://jirasdconfluence.technicolor.com:8090/rest/api/content/search?cql=space=TECHPST' "wiki" -> is a directory mostly used by Cloud Infrastructure for confluence. So try the above url and see if…

Hi @Justin Curry Welcome to community! On Cloud, you do not rely on email ID, you rely on accountId. However for the user, are you certain you deleted the user or you disabled it? I ask this because if your have JSM and Jira Software/Core with the same email address as Customer user and Jira users, you will get a…

Hi @Erdős Zoltán I think it's important you add the Multi-line text field into your Context fields in your Issue layout. Project settings > issue layout > context fields drop the field there. Likewise, if you already have Wiki renderer on the field, you can easily use the WYSIWYG editor (Rich text editor) and simply add a…
-
If this issue only occurred today, then it's not the token. Can you think of any Apps that you may have such as BigPicture Add-on, this has the tendency to update those fields?
-
Hi @Yuliia Zhyliaieva It seems that your API token was used to update that field. do you have any application that may be using your API token? You can confirm here to see when last your token was used if any.
-
There's the problem. the endpoint doesn't search any space. Please use http://jirasdconfluence.technicolor.com:8090/wiki/rest/api/content/search?cql=space=NAME_OF_A_SPACE This is explained here on Advanced searching with CQL.
-
I think the issue is not the authentication but most probably the endpoint being used. Is that endpoint url accessible via the browser?
-
Additional properties is referring to this endpoint if any has been created on your Instance. I have a Free Addon I created, it basically uses REST API simple structures, you can also view the codes on Github to see how I implemented it. you can give it a go and see if it works as expected for you. As far as I know that…
