Interesting, can you help me understand how you're editing databases when you work with them? * Are you opening the database in a new tab to make an edit each time? * Would you not run into this problem if all changes you made to the database were automatically saved?

Hey @Filip Callewaert - I totally hear you (and have lost a lot of content myself and kicked myself for forgetting to press save). The Beta version will fix this problem and autosave all the changes you make to the database automatically!

Hey @p.borloz - that's right, currently to search for databases in the Confluence search bar, you'd need to explicitly select the type "Database". We're actively working on a Beta version that will allow you to search for databases by title in the Confluence search bar by default!

Hey Matthias, we actually made changes so you can edit databases in edit and view mode of a page. Hopefully this fixes the inconvenience you're facing. In addition, we're working on an autosave functionality that will be coming in Beta!

So editing in view mode is most helpful when there's a single databases that's accessible to many people and the goal is to update this database which view mode is helpful for while changing the structure of the database can be done in edit mode.
