Hi, the migration process is described on this page. Export and import is the process typically used.
-
Perhaps you want to do this via the api? curl -D- \ -u admin:admin \ -X POST \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ --data '{"jql":"project = QA","startAt":0,"maxResults":2,"fields":["id","key"]}' \ "http://kelpie9:8081/rest/api/2/search" Check out the api guide on queries.

Ok, sounds like an administrator needs to chime in from your instance to resolve this.
-
for the email address in the project, click 'edit' next to custom email address. it's on the page that shows the email address under email requests section of project settings.
-
In the page tree macro edit settings, are you setting the start depth to a higher number to include child pages?
-
Inside of the service desk project settings, you'll see email requests. That holds the basic email account info that service desk project. It will also say on the top, what the security settings are for request security. check that there. If you have the login information for the mailbox configured in the project - open it…

I would agree with this. Basic strategy, upgrade confluence, copy the database over to a mysql 5.7 server and change the dbconfig.conf to the new location. This will give you a way back as well to a working version by swinging you db pointer if needed. I presume you've read the database config for mysql.

Go team ;)

Sounds like you want to use multiple page tree macros on one page, and set the root page level on each one to be where you need it to go. Does that sound right to you?

Team Calendars can hold nested data. So you can create calendars in individual spaces and then link them to a master calendar. That master calendar. you can edit your "Welcome to Confluence" home page and drop a Master Calendar on it. Edit that calendar to include the other calendars. Here's info on setting the home page.

We do Versions as Versions. Epic's as major initiatives in a version and stories as parts of epics typically. So, Lets take version 1.0. That version will have a new tool called widgetnator. We'll create an epic for widgetnator. To make widgetnator work, we need 3 stories that might have a ton of subtasks. Stories might be…

Agree with Shannon, just be really careful with the upgrade notes - read all of them. There are some changes that you want to adjust for. For example- the ssl and mysql changes in 7.3

Could be, Almost curious enough to reinstall the plugin and see what happens. Other than that, I'd suggest escalating it up to atlassian with a support request.
-
Only other thing i can think of if those aren't working is pdf export and see what that looks like. Then convert the pdf into word. Sounds painful though.

thank you! :)

Depends on how you setup the other instance. You need licenses for people to do things, not for anonymous people to read things. Price for security at hand these days - separate instance - firewalled completely off, 100%.. take the small licensing fee vs the large exposure. Manage the risk.
-
Maybe more of a question - why would you have anonymous on as being a secure company? My presumption reading that would be that you'd force logins. I have seen companies setup a separate confluence instance for anonymous to ensure there is no bleed from their secure instance. Perhaps that might be a strategy to adopt in…

I'll drop in a penny. My experience has been, as long as the database file is older than the attachments directory things are usually ok when you start up. If you have an attachments directory older than the database, you could end up with a bunch of missing attachment errors. That is not show stopping, but some manual…

I've experienced this same thing. If you copy just the image, you can paste it into word. Your better option is to export the document to word, if your admin hasn't disabled that option. It's in the page menu. Select the ellipsis and choose "export to word". That will grab the page and the images.

lol, hey that was a useful comment.. but I would say, had the post contained a survey end date, i would not have commented :)

Metaspace is as designed to be functioning at 100% Can we take a look at the default dashboard settings? Lets see if there's any gadgets that weren't removed from the git integration add-in. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/configuring-the-default-dashboard-802592292.html

Involve Jira Software or Jira Core users You can give users with Jira Software or Jira Core licenses permission to view and comment on service desk issues without a Jira Service Desk license. To involve Jira application users, go to Project settings > People, and then add the users to the Service Desk Team role. Reference:…

Sorry for the late chime in here - is it possible to adjust the spelling of Kanbab to Kanban in the subject of this string?

Survey is closed now.

Hi Max, have you visited the ClearVisions contractor portal? Might have what you're looking for there as well.
-
it's located at the root of your Jira Home directory.
-
Can you tell us a bit more about the environment (server OS, db, confluence version)? Anything in the confluence logs on the server?
-
The short answer is yes - they would broadcast on different http ports. The cleaner answer is to put them on separate servers. You can share the database server. This will save you when you're trying to do maintenance or upgrades to the environment.
