Interesting. I'd like to see a step by step write up for it. We have an Aug leader instance for each city that is Jira and Confluence. Not sure about the other applications. We can't create logins on those instances however. We did run a Confluence multiedit challenge when it was first available - that was a lot of fun.

For Server - On the backend confluence does maintain the files in its application directory structure. Some help here is how those files are stored: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/hierarchical-file-system-attachment-storage-704578486.html For cloud you may want to reach out to support directly.

Red Locks indicate the page is secured. The Author of that page may need to grant you access or the system admin will need to go into that page and change the security settings to allow you access to edit.

Hi Emilia, it will show up in that mailbox momentarily until jira collects it. Your email admin should be able to see in the trace logs when the email is received and when jira picks it up.
-
two questions maybe: 1. Email flow. Can you open the jira email account and verify when the email arrived in the mailbox? I would send a few test messages and see if they show up in the jira email account mailbox right away. You may also want a mail admin to check the mailflow on this email to see when it was actually…

Under, administration, applications, and application access, you'll see jira service desk, the number of agents you own and who has access.
-
I'm confused... IMAP clearly lets you specify username/password for authentication into mail server. This is not anonymous. Documentation reference. This might be a service account mailbox, like jira@whoever.com, but it can be managed. This is possible to do with Office365 E1 level licenses or general onprem mail servers.
-
You may also need to run a full reindex in jira if it comes up looking a bit empty.
-
Under services, what's the condition of atlassian Jira? Have you looked at the Jira logs? It will be under a folder called log in JiraHome folder.
-
Not currently. The MS Teams team was still working on a bunch of functionality to the entire product right now last I checked. They have a roadmap published here.

@Jonny Adams from what I understand the exam has been updated recently based on the feedback everyone provided.

Ooooh, I could dig up some Tintin, that'd be a fun little quiz too.

Hello, there is documentation on how to make your own translation located here. I honestly, have never tried to do this, but it is possible, though may be somewhat time consuming to replace every word "issue" with a different word, especially in phrasing. I understand though, that you can download the language pack, unzip…

Interesting, have you experimented with removing the permissions, saving and then reapplying to the space?

Hi Marcos, please vote for issue: [JSDSERVER-4486]

How were those people replying? Were they replying to the original email that had the service desk copied on it or replying back to an email that originated from the service desk instance? I believe without the Issue key being in the email, Jira Service Desk doesn't know how to link the email to the Issue. Make sure the…

Yep, not uncommon - I've seen setups where only team leads or managers have access to delete so things don't accidentally disappear into the ether. kind of depends if you have data curators in your org dedicated to the task of keeping things tidy.

That seems like poor practice, though not uncommon at all. Our practices require Confluence documentation to be created and maintained. That includes system diagrams, flow, API documentation, integrations, customization, etc. No Story is crossed off the list without a check being done. If your shop is SOC2, ISOxxx, or…

There's some notice in 5.9 release notes about space permissions changes. You can lock yourself out of pages as well, even as admin though you will have access to add yourself or confluence-admins back in to the security model for the page. Take a look at documentation here. The last part of documentation may help: Space…

Awesome, and thanks for the feedback! :)

@Josiah_Sansone I'm 100% using teams and on prem jira. In teams, select the jira connector, it will walk you through how to make a webhook in Jira to talk to teams.
-
So when you go to Jira Administration, Applications tab - Versions & Licenses, what do you see there? You should see options there for license key in Jira Software.
-
I broke it, pretty sure.

I'm not sure its a small club anymore! Welcome @Gregory VAN HOOF :)
-
If this is the first ever meetup, perhaps the main thing to focus on is having a social event to see what people want to talk about. Maybe do a little bit with a partner on the event, basic topics like Jira, Jira Service Desk and ask lots of questions.

I poked around a bit and wasn't able to reproduce based on rights in a test instance I use. Some notes I came across: in JIRA7.0, if there are no component or version defined for a project, the component and release icon/option won't be showing from the left panel bar on the Scrum. Only if there are component or version…

Hello, is this project a jira "software" project? Does the user have access to view developer tools?
