Also, yes - adjust the dbconfig xml as suggested. Add default infront of storage_engine so it reads default_storage_engine.

you want to convert your database to the correct format. See documentation here

What happens when you're in the project, look at permissions and select permission helper. Put in a user that you have in the jira-sprint-users group or sprint managers group. choose an issue from that project and for permission select manage sprints. What's the outcome of that result?
-
So, here's an example of a JQL showing open work on a current sprint: project = "My Project" AND sprint in openSprints() AND status in ("To Do", "Reviewing", Documenting, "In Progress") ORDER BY priority DESC, updated DESC you can add to that to pull blocked issues. Status "Blocked" or dependent on how you have blocked…

I think the way Jira sees this is a scope change. One the sprint starts any additions is a change. If this is done before the sprint starts there is no issue.

Hi, a board is just a view of the data, so you can have many boards created for one project. When you're in a project, just click create board. Its usually in the left nav bar under the project icon. in Kanban board mode - For swimlanes you can do a JQL for the the field month = "January", etc.
-
As Brian said, yup - go for it. Just watch the https connector - it got us, but it's well documented in the release notes. Make sure you experiment with a staging copy of your production before you move your actual prod. That will save you some heartburn. The overall process, start to finish, can take you somewhere between…

I'm wondering if this is a new UI issue. Can you switch out of the new UI mode and see if it's still an issue on the board? To toggle modes, click your profile icon in the bottom left and select 'turn off for now'.

You're on the right track, screens are the forms. You can find the screens the project is using in the project settings, screens tab. When you click on the screen it will show you the fields it has on it. At the bottom is the Add to to add the custom field to the screen. Give it a little time and bang your head against the…

I believe the calendar will continue to scroll with the current date.

Ok, so your manage sprints rights have project admin, administrator and sprint manager. When you go into project settings, go into users and roles. On the top right is "Add users to a role" Select the user and add them to the role "sprint manager". You can go into Jira's administrator screen for users and create a group.…

Agreeing with @Warren. You can also find expiration's in https://my.atlassian.com. Looking at licenses you'll see your evaluations and can use the support expires column to determine when it expires as well as requesting a new trail license key to extend your trial.
-
Does this happen in all browsers (Chome, Edge, Firefox, Safari)?
-
This screen appears to be asking for a license key. You can get trial keys or product keys from https://my.atlassian.com

Out of curiosity - have you looked at Atlassians Universal Wiki Converter?
-
Hi, Atlassian provides some guides for BCP planning here.
-
Ok - did you get a chance to work though the troubleshooting document on synchrony?
-
Cool deal. Jira is a little more complex to modify as well. Instructions are: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-customize-the-login-gadget-225122084.html These modifications you have to typically redo when you upgrade your applications as they get over written. When upgrading Jira you do get warned that you…

Hi, you can modify the login page itself with the disclaimer. The instructions are: https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf58/customising-the-login-page-771892734.html If you're using a 3rd party saml provider such as Okta, you'd want to review their documentation on the login screen they provide.
-
Let me ask this.. Is it a calendar you want or a roadmap planner?
-
You bet, you can remove the right for them to do it via Admin -> Security -> Global permissions and restrict "personal space" to the users/groups you select. Preventing people seeing an existing personal space is up to the actual space permissions though.
-
There's some troubleshooting documents on synchrony - this is what runs collaborative editing - document. After you refresh are you able to publish, or not able to publish any page at all?
-
Have you restarted confluence? Wonder if there's a backend connection issue to the database. Assume your users are on the internal directory and not crowd/jira or 3rd party saml?
-
So for the new interface, click the Jira Icon and it will take you to the dashboard with the activity stream. If you want to turn off the new interface, click your profile picture in the bottom left and select 'turn off for now'

Hi Erica, scroll about 2/3 down on this document. You might find it easier in this case to use JQL by pressing advanced on the screenshot you have shown. JQL will give you the power to do some more advanced stuff.
-
right, so null fields won't display on the issue screen unless you click edit to edit the issue. Then the field appears for use. We've found this a bit annoying as well in some projects, so to make the user experience a bit nicer for on screen quick edits we do the following: Add a default value to the field. For instance…

Hi Billy, yes indeed. That documentation is located here.

Are you checking health of the mail server? There is a free marketplace addin that gives you that api access. Mail Queue Monitor
-
I have not seen this be able to be done. If it was possible, it might be editing source code, but then your version upgrade path is shot. I'd say you want to review the design requirements you've been given.
-
You'll definitely want to do this through a maintenance cycle. A few schools of thought - really dependent on what you're doing with the backend database. 1. Export content and import it into the new instances - good if you don't care about the database and your instances are small enough. 2. Bring your prod upto the…
