I suggest you create a new sprint before you close the current one off then tell jira to move all the issues to the new waiting sprint. A little work flow adjust on your side, but it does the trick and saves you from dragging things back up into the new sprint.

Are we talking Jira? Windows version is not the issue. Jira, for the end user requires a browser such as chrome to work successfully. It does depend on if your Jira instance has anonymous access turned on. Perhaps this link may help.…

are you using a separate mailbox for jira service desk or the same as jira?
-
Can you tell us more about your environment? How are you trying to install service desk, what operating system. Is it a new version of jira? what plugins are already installed, etc.

You can do approvals. Mine are agents, but i haven't confirmed if they need to be these days. The request types are up to you. You can have one or many request workflows. You can use Jira service desk for many applications. facilities requests, IT requests, legal requests, HR requests, IT requests. - its flexible. You can…

there's a good blog on this topic. https://www.atlassian.com/blog/confluence/link-jira-issues-to-confluence-pages-automatically

Cloud or onpremise?

Seems like a lot of information to get in email. Would a more practical approach be monitoring a dashboard?
-
Have you tried exploring this space with elevated access or with the access levels required as the parent page?

Out of curiousity, can we ask why you would want to go onto a 32bit system?

Do you already have a provider, like AzureAD or Okta, to link SSO back to? We use: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.resolution.atlasplugins.samlsso.Confluence/server/overview This does all the basics. You do need, ADFS, or AzureAD or Okta, or another provider setup in your environment to link back to.

You may want to escalate this to Atlassian support directly - for cloud, you may not have access to enough logs to diagnose what's occuring.

So, question - do you have a workflow assigned to specific issue types? For instance - I have a workflow in jira service desk for types of issue type Mobility. In that workflow, I do a post function on issue create to assign to a user that specifically takes care of verizon / at&t / Tmobile requests. That functionality is…

You bet - go into system (Use the Cog wheel on the top menu and select system from the administration menu). Once that page loads, scroll down on the left menu to mail. Choose outgoing mail option. From there you'll be able to configure mail settings for the jira system. You can also send test mails from there to see how…

Hi, looks like this was answered previously as well. Adding Custom fields to Jira Service desk will allow you to capture this. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/JIRA-questions/How-do-I-add-more-fields-to-the-Service-Desk-Request-form/qaq-p/9005

This might depend on your monitoring toolset. The ability to check for response text on a website. The ability to check service health. The ability to digest logs and review it. I personally like newrelic for monitoring jira - but there's other platforms and options in the space.

Perhaps a question with an answer. What version of Jira Service Desk are you running? Jira 3.2.x introduced functionality to transition issues in customer portal. https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedesk/jira-service-desk-3-2-x-release-notes-830281732.html

There's two versions of 6.0.9 written. One for Jira 6 and one for Jira 7. Both are available via the atlassian market place. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/eu.softwareplant.bigpicture/versions Scroll down on versions and you'll find it listed. Jira 7.3.x is compatible.

I use degree's of difficulty for story points. You want to set this consistant story point value concept across the company so that everyone is on the same points scale. Here's my points scale with some cheezy examples of stories to go along with them. 1's are easy - do a simple task like build a vm. I dump conferences in…

I did a work around that still requires components to be created. Step 1 - Add component with matching name as issue type, name person to auto assign. Step 2, Create post function to copy field to field - issue type to component fields. Step 3. Create post function to assign to component/developer lead. (create steps 2,3…
