Hi @ray scott , Please clarify the issue a little bit more: maybe you could provide us with screenshots of manually created tables? One of the output of the Jira Issues macro that you get - still struggling with the source table. And the second one of the desired result: from your post I see that the first row looks like a…

I'm not sure that it will cover your case with Portfolio and surveys, but still we have something similar in our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app. The add-on provides the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros that allow you to collect multiple-row tables from pages with specific labels, child pages or all…
-
Hi @Laurie Huth , A little clarification about the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app as this is our add-on. The app supports the Jira Issues macro dynamically: all the changes made in Jira are pulled through the Jira Issues macro to Confluence and reflected through our macros as well. So, you won't get any…
-
Hi @Massimo Pegorer , We can suggest trying our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app and its Table Filter macro that supports the Page Properties Report macro. You'll be able to filter your report using Free text filters and regular expressions from the view&edit mode.
-
Hi @Chad Waldron , Wrap your table into the two Table Transformer macros subsequently: The internal Table Transformer macro will be used to fulfill empty cells if there are any in your source table - so that they will be colored beautifully later: SELECT CASE WHEN T1.'Fail/Partial' IS NULL THEN "-" ELSE T1.'Fail/Partial'…

Hi @Ronald Grover , Maybe it happens so that your company uses our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app (you may check for the Table Filter macro in the macrobrowser). The add-on also provides the Table from CSV macro that allows you to output tables from Google Spreadsheets via URL. Hope this may help your case.
-
Hi @KMTek , We can also suggest trying our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app and its Pivot Table macro - seems that this macro will be able to fulfill the case.
-
So, here is an option how to modify the original second table to the plain one-row table from our developers: reuse the source table twice via the Table Excerpt Include macro, choose to show Page title in meta data and wrap both Table Excerpt Includes in the Table Toolbox macro. Then create the following structure in the…
-
Then I can suggest collecting the original second table: once you reuse it for the Gantt Chart and for the second time you wrap it in the Table Filter macro to exclude unwanted rows (with "Implementation") and hide unwanted columns ("Phase"). The result will be a two-row table: The first table can be then merged to the…

I have nothing more to add - the manually created table should contain the Key field that user will fill him/herself. The autogenerated Jira table and the manually created one will be looked up by the common Key column.
-
Hi @Brad Johnson , I've switched your case back and forth but haven't come with a beautiful solution. There are several bottlenecks that prevent its implementation: 1. You are on Cloud. You can't nest several macros with bodies inside each other and you can't create vertical tables. So, if we try to transpose your first…
-
Hi @Laurie Huth , Check this part of our documentation - it seems that you've set autonumbering in the Table Filter macro.
-
Hi @ray scott , Maybe our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app could be any use for the case? We work with the Jira Issues macro but more often for grouping issues (for example, this question and this). If you could provide us with a manually created sample of the source table (the Jira Issues macro' output) and the…
-
Hi @Duuna Richardson , We can suggest trying our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app. You may reuse your table with the help of the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros and then hide the unwanted columns of the reused table with the help of the Table Filter macro. Besides our Table Excerpt Include macro will…
-
Hi @Laurie Huth , If you mean by the Table Transformer, then no, it returns standard Confluence view of the header row.
-
Your query seems okay: SELECT 'Key', FORMATWIKI(SUM("*Summary*: " + T1.'Summary' + "\n" + "*Additional info*: " + T1.'Additional Info')) AS 'Change Summary' FROM T1 GROUP BY 'Key' You may also use the two asterisks instead of one and get an Italic bold. SELECT 'Key', FORMATWIKI(SUM("**Summary**: " + T1.'Summary' + "\n" +…
-
Hi @Addie Hutchins , I think that your case is not supposed to work - the result that you see in the preview is a static one, it's like a snapshot, plain text. When you publish the page, you try to reuse the dynamic macro that pulls live headings from another page - so you just don't see anything at all.
-
Hi @Laurie Huth , The Table Transformer macro refers to the new combined cell as a whole one, so it operates with all the contents. I mean if you join the columns, then the two parts Summary and Additional Info can be both bold or not bold (but both, not partly). So, I'm afraid that your case is not possible.
-
Hi @Peter Wilhelm , The Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app (the add-on that we develop) provides the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros that work similar to the standard Page Properties/Page Properties Report but allow you to collect multiple-row tables. Our macros allow you to collect excerpts with a…
-
Hi @jacque_french , I'm afraid there is no such option - I get your idea, but the header line is used to filter/aggregate your data, it's a crucial line for the source table and it can't be hidden for this case.
-
The two variants of code that I've given should work correctly. The "FORMATDATE(DATE(FORMATDATE(T1.ECU)))" is not a proper solution, it shouldn't be working correctly: you convert the date into string, then into date and again into string. And as I've shown before you can compare dates directly. Check if your Table…
-
You may try the following settings for the Pivot Table macro then:
-
Please, give the screenshot of the source table (manually created with dummy data but a screenshot of a table for me to understand what text goes to which cell) and the desired result table. If you mean that the source table looks like: Status | Days in Current Status | Key In Progress | 20 | XXX-1 In Progress | 20 | XXX-2…
-
Hi @Nicolas Boutet , Maybe it happens so that your company uses our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app? Its Table Filter macro supports not only manually created tables but dynamic Confluence macros (such as Page Properties Report, Jira Issues, Content Report Table, etc.) as well and you'll be able to filter your…
-
Hi @Dolly Kirubavathi , I assume that you are using our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app and its Table Transformer macro. Please check this recent Community thread - I'm showing how to merge the contents of two separate columns into one column. And you may also check this thread - it doesn't concern the question,…
-
Hi @Laurie Huth , Try to modify your SQL query in the following way: SELECT 'Project', FORMATWIKI(SUM('Column 1' + "\n" + 'Column 2')) AS 'Column 3' FROM ( SELECT *, CASE WHEN 'Column 1' IS NULL THEN "No External Documents" ELSE 'Column 1' END AS 'Column 1', CASE WHEN 'Column 2' IS NULL THEN "No Internal Documents" ELSE…
-
Hi @Isaac_Saina , Besides all the options mentioned by other Community members, I can suggest checking if your company uses any 3rd party apps that amplify tables in Confluence. For example, we develop the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app that allows you to use the Table from CSV macro and connect your Google…
-
Hi @Laurie Huth , Our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app that was kindly mentioned by @Ste Wright may indeed help your case. Wrap your Jira Issues macro in the Table Transformer macro: On the screenshot I use a manually created table, but this is only for a more clear example - the Jira Issues macro' output is…
-
If you merge labels into one cell, then the Table Transformer macro may lose the original formatting because it is a new cell with simple text strings for it. We have similar ticket in our backlog and added your vote to it, when the feature is implemented, we'll get back to the thread.
-
Try to use the Pivot Table macro instead of the Table Transformer - the initial formatting of the merged data will be preserved.
