Hi @Ashley Giustizia , In this thread I show how to split the issue key and the status for the standard To Do, In Progress and Done statuses with the help of our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence (the Table Transformer macro). If you exclude the original column from the query, then you'll get only the column…

Hi @emagnun , You may try the following SQL query: SELECT T1.'Product', T1.'Customer', T1.'Jira Task', CASE WHEN T1.'Jira Task'->split(" ")->1 LIKE "In" THEN (T1.'Jira Task'->split(" ")->1 + " " + T1.'Jira Task'->split(" ")->2) WHEN T1.'Jira Task'->split(" ")->1 LIKE "To" THEN (T1.'Jira Task'->split(" ")->1 + " " +…

Hi @emagnun , Please check if this solution suits your case: SELECT T1.'Sprint', (T1.'Sum of Status To Do' + T1.'Sum of Status In Progress') AS 'Not Done', T1.'Sum of Status Done' AS 'Done', T1.'Sum of Status T:' AS 'Total', ROUND((T1.'Sum of Status Done'*100)/T1.'Sum of Status T:',2) AS 'Completion %' FROM T1

Hi @Veronica Brooker , Please follow these steps: wrap your table into the Table Toolbox macro. Then go to the macro settings and wrap your table subsequently into the Table Transformer and into the Table Filter macro. Then go to to the Table Transformer macro and use the following SQL query: SELECT *, ('Total Service…

Hi @James Park , The Table Filter macro (and other macros related to the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app) doesn't have any specifically set limitations of the number of table rows/columns. A assume that you have Confluence Cloud - there are several posts in the Community related to the slower page…

Hi @Venugopal Paladi , You may check this Community thread: * in the first part I suggest using live filtration for the Jira Issues macro (our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app allows you to filter and aggregate Jira issues on the fly from the view page mode without changing the JQL). You may even create live Jira…

Hi @[deleted] , We can suggest trying our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence. The app provides the Table from CSV macro that allows you to output a table from CSV or TSV data source (URL, Google Spreadsheet or an attached file). All the updates made to the source table will be immediately reflected in Confluence.…

It depends on the type of the links you use - my example is a general one and helps in the following situation: you have a table column with beautiful links, for example, LINK-1, LINK-2, LINK-3, etc. Returned by the Jira Issues macros they are unclickable and look like plain text: LINK-1, LINK-2, LINK-3, etc. Our macro…

Hi @Marcel Kleinlütke , We can suggest trying our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence. We assume that you have a predefined table with data - with or without column with dates. If there are dates, then you need to wrap your table into the Table Filter macro. If there are no dates and you want to autofill them,…

Yes, it is definitely our app and its Table Filter macro - there is no any option to hide the header row if your filters don't match any results. The filtering/sorting is based on the headers, they are always visible.
-
Hi @Anita Suri , We can suggest using the following workaround with the help of our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence. Its Table Transformer macro allows you to create clickable links to Jira Issues - please check here for an example. Maybe your company already uses our app for table filtration, aggregation,…

Hi @David Crawford , You may also browse the Atlassian Marketplace and search for the related apps. Our add-on that is Table Filter and Charts for Confluence provides the Table from CSV macro. This macro allows you to output a table from CSV or TSV data source and supports outputting data from a URL or an attached file.…

I'm afraid they are general Cloud issues - I mean the whole concept is based on iframes and other tricky things, so it is not possible at the moment. As usual, we try not to differ Cloud and Server/DC versions of the app, if some features are not implemented, it means that they are not technically possible.
-
Hi @Daniel Parsons , Here is our documentation related to the exporting of macros and their results. It seems to me that you have Confluence Cloud - the section regarding the whole page export does not work for Cloud due to its new editor limitations (there is a crossed-out "cloud symbol" in the header).

Hi @Sébastien NOEL , I've just answered you in another thread, so let me repeat my comment here: I'm afraid that you are right - at the moment it is not possible to filter, aggregate and calculate tabular data in Confluence out-of-the-box. So, again we can suggest trying our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence (it…

Hi @Sébastien NOEL , I'm afraid that you are right - at the moment it is not possible to filter, aggregate and calculate tabular data in Confluence out-of-the-box. So, again we can suggest trying our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence (it is available for Cloud/Server/Data Center). Maybe you'll be interested in a…

Hi @Srujan kumar , We can suggest using our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence. Its Table Transformer macro will do the trick. Please follow this Community thread to calculate end dates using start days plus ranges in days without weekends. And here is another older thread related to the straightforward…

Hi @Linus Schlepp , Please clarify which app do you use to filter your Confluence tables? Is it our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app and its Table Filter macro? If this is the case, then the header row is not supposed to be hidden because filtering/sorting is based on it. Here you can read more about the Table…
-
Hi @Emily Berg , I'm afraid it is not possible to introduce a column name as a variable.
-
And one more thought - are your source tables manually created and not macro generated? Just saw that the question belongs to the jira-software section - the standard Chart macro doesn't support dynamically changing tables such as Jira Issue macros. Our Chart from Table macro supports macro generated tables as well.
-
I've copied and pasted the tables from the doc and here is how it works for me: Then I set all the required parameters in the Chart macro panel as was shown in the example: And here is my result: Maybe it happens so that your company uses our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app for filtration and data aggregation?…

Don't know why, but I didn't see your last screenshot while answering - to add an empty table, you'll need another Table Transformer macro and this empty table as well (the CSS still remains the same): The query for the second Table Transformer: SELECT * FROM T1 And here is your page in the view mode:
-
Hi @tippani sri satya sai durga prasad , We can suggest removing the "The query returned no rows." message using the CSS: <style> .table-joiner .wrapper .aui-message.info.aui-message-info { display: none; } </style> Now your users won't see any confusing messages.
-
Hi @Andrea Goldsmith , You should create your tables manually and paste them inside the Chart macro body, the tables are not generated automatically (check the very first screenshot of this doc).
-
As far as I know, the most recent feature that was introduced to this macro is sorting.
-
But any normal user should also go to the Edit mode and only then update the table. As I've written before, you can't edit tables from the page View mode without additional apps. If you want your users to update only the table without other text/macros, you should create two pages: * page 1 contains only the table wrapped…
-
Then it seems like a bug - if your colleagues see the Edit button and enter the page edit mode successfully, they should be able to change all the page content (including text, macros and tables). Standard manually created Confluence tables don't have any special permissions or restrictions - they are just a regular part…
-
I'll try to repeat your case: * you have a page with a table - plain manually created Confluence table (some rows/some columns) * your colleagues can add their info into this table - they go to this page and add/change some text/dates/statuses inside the table * but if they (and you) try to paste another table into the…

A table on the page - not space, we can say that spaces are like folders - they contain and organize pages. So, if you want other people to edit your page, you should check both space permissions and page restrictions.

Hi @Madavl34 , What do you mean that your Excel table object is not editable for users? Is it not a plain table but a generated table that uses the Excel macro and an attachment? If this is the case, we can suggest our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence. It provides the Table from CSV macro - you'll be able to…
