Hello @Rodolfo Pacheco Alonso if Jira is up and running (first thing to double check) you should be able to reach Jira onto that port. There might be a firewall rule that is blocking access to that url (second thing to check), usually this is the case since in services like Amazon or Google cloud, ports are blocked by…

Hello @Srikanth transitions have already a destination status set. Maybe what you can do is setup an intermediate status that once the ticket is there, you have an automation in place that transitions the ticket to one status or another based on the value of the field that the user previously set. User experience would be…

Any chance you are using Access to manage logins? Maybe you are trying to bring users from an active directory that clearly won't have external users
-
Hello @Jason Burns thev following link isn't necessarily your error but I would expect it to work anyway. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/re-index-in-jira-fails-due-to-indexformattoooldexception-973482953.html Delete the indexes files and run a new reindex (will have to be the one that locks your instance)

Hello @Laura Sands if you are in cloud I would say that's not possible, if you are in server there might be a magical place on the server end (not the UI) that you might tweak to change that, nevertheless these type of changes in the server files end causing problems with upgrades and I would not recommend to do.

Hello @Cyril Michy are you running the import from the admin interface or as a standard user? I suppose that you have create permissions on that project, correct? What if you add the issue type information as well? In the past even though documentation doesn't say it's required, not adding the issue type caused us trouble,…
-
Hello @Rachel Gauvin to do that most likely you will need help from an app like eazybi that would allow you to do the math between two date fields. Natively Jira doesn't do that kind of reports.
-
Hello @Axel Briones I couldn't follow much the scenario you have but basically in order to delete an issue you must have delete issue permission at the project you are working. Depending the company, sometime that permission is only available for project or Jira administrators. That can be seen on the permission scheme of…
-
Hi @Nicholas Torres the feature you are asking for isn't available at this point
-
Hi @Bruno Roveri took me a while to get back to this, sorry about that. I'm going to do some guessing and I believe that the issue might be related with the project type. Is the project by chance a next-gen project? If you pick a classic project, do the roles show as expected?
-
Hi @Tim Hailey sorry for the delay, I've been too busy the last few days. To manage request types on different groups you first need to add them from the print screen I can see you have only one, click add group first to create multiple groups, and then click the edit groups as you did. Once you have more groups in place…

Hello @[deleted] each instance is a separate world and billing can't be merged. I would suggest to merge all instances into a single one. It won't be an easy task and would require planning and tests but is feasible and in the end you have a single billing point as one as one place to go to see all the information.

Hello @Lowell Liwat I've been using Jira for more than ten years and the core functionalities haven't change much. A couple of things that I can think of are. * If you are on cloud you could natively have roadmaps that those were not an option back then. * Jira service desk is a new product that is more focused on SLAs and…

Hi @Shubha you might need an add-on to get the last comment I personally use the following one since it allows you to get that among other things as well. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221055/calculated-custom-fields?hosting=server&tab=overview
-
Can you share what you see and intend to change then? Send some screenshots please
-
Hi @Tim Hailey looks like I missunderstood your question. I was thinking on user groups. The following link should allow you to answer your question https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-desk-cloud/docs/organize-request-types-into-groups/

I would suggest to have a filter at Gmail to add a different label to each of those aliases and setup Jira to scan those 2 folders instead of the inbox. I can't ensure that it will solve the issue but might help and will certainly help future troubleshooting by keeping things in different places.
-
And where are the other two email handlers looking for emails if not the inbox? Are those labeled differently I suppose
-
Hello, either the existing workflow scheme is now being used in more than one project or the workflow is in two active workflow schemes. You should be able to check that from the workflow and workflow scheme tab from the admin view
-
In order to grant access to one project you need to put in order all of them. I suggest you take the time and define roles and permissions to each of them and apply that on a permission scheme across the environment. Takes some time and requires input from several members usually but in the end you will know better who can…
-
Hello, sometimes delays are because the inbox is full of emails (news or old) and Jira has to process them all. I would suggest to check if it's not the case here and archive/move the old stuff
-
Are you still facing the problem even though you don't see that resolution? Send some screenshots if so.
-
If the different workflows aren't that different, just skip some steps of the main one, you could use multiple transitions to the same status but each one would apply for different application names based on the conditions that you add to each of them. As an example you could have a transition that skips 3 steps in the…
-
I'm going to do some guessing here based on my experience and rather than someone going to the resolutions and adding it, it was added by mistake as part of a CSV import. I've seen that happen a lot so I suggest you check for recent activities related to that to avoid problems again in the future
-
Hello @Tim Hailey you should have site admin permissions to manage groups within Jira. It should appear to you on the system tab from the administrator view. If you are using active directory as well then maybe it's something that needs to be done outside Jira
-
no problem, let me know if you need any extra help with this. I'll do what I can from here
-
Hello @seethamraju based on your setup, take a look to Eazybi. It should allow you to get what you want. For something far more elaborated there is the tempo budgets app
-
Hello @Nick Patel you should start here Migrating shouldn't be that difficult if you don't have apps involved, when you do, you need to see how to backup and restore each app configuration of possible at all
-
Hello @Simon Heaysman there would be a couple of things to check here since moving the ticket to a closed status won't necessarily mean that the ticket is closed for Jira unless the transition executed triggers the issue closed event. What could be happening is that you are transitioning the ticket to such status and then…
-
Hi @Monica Montes you can't do that with native functionalities but you should be able to configure this app in order to have such behavior https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212161/extension-for-jira-service-desk?hosting=cloud&tab=overview You would be using two custom fields and one would show based on the option…
