Hello, that's a card cover. In order to add it, you have to open the card, and click the Cover button on the right. After that, you'll get many options available. You can upload an image from your computer, choose a solid color or an image from the Unsplash catalog. In order to have an image as a full card, you just have…

Hi Jeremy, I've never created a Trello board for gardening plans but I think that a single board would make things more manageable. I've jotted down some ideas, not sure if they can be useful for you or not: * The first list of the board can be used as a place to gather ideas and info * Create a list for each season…

Hi Laura, each board can only have one calendar Power-Up covering the content of that board. The best way to see cards from different boards on the same calendar is to use the Planyway Power Up, you can find it here. Hope it helps!

As always, late to the party but here are my choices. * Friends - I think there is no explanation needed. * Big Bang Theory - I consider it the modern and nerdy version of Friends. * Black Sails - I restarted it from the beginning right after finishing it for the first time. History and pirates are exactly my thing! *…

@nina_schmidt your reasons for Night Manager are totally valid. 😏
-
As long as you're a member of the board, you'll be able to see it both in your home page and your boards page.

I have to admit that using Trello for my reading lists is one of the first things I tried besides organizing my tasks, but I never ventured myself in Custom Fields and with the last update I bet the cover images would look even better. Thank you for the inspiration, Brittany!
-
These are great examples, Brittany! I especially like the last one. 😃 I hope you're doing well.
-
This is such a wonderful update, thank you!

What do you mean with closed? Could you provide a screenshot, please?

The board permissions have been simplified recently so you just have: You can upgrade someone else to Admin and set yourself as Normal. Once you've done it, you can even go a step further and leave the board if you want.

The date custom field works just like the Due Date in a card, so it isn't possible to remove the time stamp. When an event/task is an all-day one I just set it up at midnight.
-
It isn't possible because the card always needs some text, but you can use some workarounds like adding just '.' or '_' so it's less visible. Hope it helps!

@Emily Koch thank you!
-
@Jessica thank you so much!

@Mo Beigi thank you! I'm glad you find it useful. I don't have many files attached to cards because my CVs and presentation letters are stored in Google Drive, but some job applications I stumbled upon provided further information on PDF files so I attached them to the corresponding Trello cards for future reference.
-
So glad to hear that! You're welcome 🙂

@Esme Crutchley thank you! The Google Drive POwer-Up is a lifesaver for sure and Custom Fields are always extremely useful. @Sri Kumar thanks! And great use of GIFs 😏 @Alison thank you! Yes, I love that the Map Power-Up works on mobile too. It's incredibly useful. I'm very passionate about the company and this community 😃

@Jodi LeBlanc oh yes! I'm glad I also managed to reduce the number of photos I take, it helps me to savor more every moment without specifically looking for instagrammable things to capture. That was a wrong approach for me.

Don't worry, both archived lists and cards are easily accessible. For example, archived cards can still compare in your searches. They will showcase an "Archived" icon + text. While to access all your archived cards you can easily go over the menu on the right: Show Menu > More > Archived Items and then switch between…

Learning to code is definitely something I want to do in the near future, I just need to find the right determination to do it and commit to it, haha. This post was very inspiring!

Jodi, this is a wonderful idea! I have a similar tradition with my mom and I love it. I started taking photos of sentimental items too during my big purging and decluttering session last year and I keep them in a "Memories" folder, but a Trello board would be great. Thank you so much for sharing.

This is a great example of Trello's flexibility. It's totally optional, but you could even add images of the book covers as attachments, this way they will show up as card covers and you'll have a more visual experience. But, still, I love the clean view of just the titles. 🙂

@Jodi LeBlanc I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed it, thank you! Checking social media from a web browser is definitely helpful, in my opinion. I feel like this sense of relief is very common and it makes social media even scarier in my mind since it makes me realize how much our brains get influenced by that.…
-
@Jodi LeBlanc you're welcome! Using a tool like Buffer allows me to check my social media only a couple of times a day and avoid mindlessly scrolling. Here is my blog post ☺ https://medium.com/@alicecamilla/what-i-learned-after-a-month-without-instagram-9bfa1adac17a

@Monique vdB it's quite shocking, I know! 😂 Thank you, added it to my calendar.
-
@Esme Crutchley oh yes! That's a great example I can relate to. It's so nice you can build your entire productivity system using Google products for free. Also, I prefer Google Docs for collaboration and Google Drive to store my files.
-
@Esme Crutchley ah yes! Sometimes we get tempted to use fancy tools only because they are popular and we miss the good simple free ones already available for us. 😅

My social media usage is limited to Twitter and Instagram these days (I have a Facebook account but it's only to manage a page) and, since I've always used Twitter from my laptop, my only issue was Instagram. I took 30 days off last year and mt life completely changed after that. I've written a whole blog post about it…

I'm a big Canva fan and I never used Google Slides but your post definitely tempted me to give it a try!
