What happens when you're trying to remove the label? Do you see an error message or is it just not getting removed?

You are right about apps being managed by Confluence admins. I think the "url pasting macro conversion" feature is actually pretty cool and often very useful. In your case you'll probably have to resort to inserting the link via the link menu if you can't get the app uninstalled. Or you could trick the system by using an…

If you manage your apps the Google Drive app should show up there. If you really don't need it you can just uninstall it and this will not happen anymore.

What version of Confluence Server are you on? Have you tried dragging and dropping the macro into the table cell after it appeared below the table? For me it seems to work perfectly fine. Edit mode: View mode:

By linked them together you mean an application link? You are right, it probably is an authentication problem because there's probably no information in your requests that would allow Jira to identify that the request is in fact coming from your Confluence. In the browser it works because the user is authenticated. Since…

I'm not sure I fully understand your requirements but to me this sounds very similar to what page labels offer. I don't think you can pre define a drop-down with labels to choose from for a certain template but they definitely help categorizing and finding content.

After a quick look on the marketplace I suggest checking out this app by Old Street Solutions. Sounds exactly like what you need.

From a technical perspective you probably could indeed make one account and share the credentials with 80 people. However I would expect this to not be compliant with Atlassian terms of usage. If you don't want to create accounts for those 80 users you could create a script/app that copies the desired pages into a location…

Not that I am aware of. Maybe you could use a user macro and code something yourself in JavaScript. But this would mean exposing your credentials to your users.

Hi @Parth Kadia, This sounds like the perfect use case for our app PocketQuery! The idea behind PocketQuery is to connect to external datasources (such as SQL databases or REST APIs) and display data inside a Confluence page via a macro. Since Google Analytics has a REST API PocketQuery is perfect for this job. There is…

Confluence doesn't use HTML but it's own version of XHTML as its storage format. When you view a page that storage format will be transformed into HTML. As you've already experienced trying to store that view HTML won't work. To create a expand macro you'll want to use the following storage format: <ac:structured-macro…

I'm not sure if I would agree with calling something a waste of money when it obviously isn't part of the framework and solves your problem, regardless of your own personal expectations and wishes. I don't think the app is expensive and if you're not sure about whether it solves your problem you can always make use of a…

What you're describing sounds very much like you're just seeing the new editor experience. However this should be independent of the browser you're using. Could you have a look at the link and if you think that it's not the new editor experience but indeed a rendering issue maybe post a screenshot of what you're seeing? :)
-
The app you linked to is for Server and Data Center but it looks like you're on Cloud, so you can't use it. At Scandio we simply have a Space for each team. You could use the space home page kind of like a team profile page. It's also great to keep everything team internal organized in there.

If you scroll to the bottom of for example this page it says they're using Scroll Viewport by k15t. :)

You are right, the new editor is lacking behind on some features. I can't tell you the why but I can give you a link to a feature comparison between the old and the new editor so you can have a clear look at what's missing, what's different and what new features the new editor brings to the table. :)
-
The documentation that you linked to shows the old editor. You're probably seeing the new editor experience. The new editor does a few things differently. Read the linked page to get a quick overview. :)
-
Are you on Server or Cloud? The big "Create" button is for creating pages. See here on how to create a space if you're on Server or here if you're on Cloud. :)

There are several suggestions how to solve this in this thread. Do any of them do the trick for you?
-
It looks like your looking for the app Elements Spreadsheet for Confluence. You do need in fact to install it first and you also need to pay for it. The only workaround using a free app would probably be to upload your files to Google Drive and using the free official Atlassian app Google Drive for Confluence to embed them.

You could make a web server out of your python script and create a REST API that calls your existing code. So let's say if someone visits the URL https://your-python-server.com/rest/dosomething?pageId=123456&foo=bar your script will run and update the page with the id 123456. This link could then be embedded into a…

Looks like this knowledge base article might help you. However it would probably be a good idea to find a local Atlassian Solution Partner that can help you with this. Also Confluence 5.7 has long reached End Of Life so if you want to continue using Confluence you should upgrade to a newer version (for which a Atlassian…

why do you include '> li'? Because we want the listitems (li) and not the ul. But there's 100 different ways to do this. what happens if the macro is used multiple times on the page. I reckon the filter function has to deal with it, isn't it? I haven't handled this case. Another reason why you should just build your own…
-
I'll try to give you a short JS lesson here but you'll quickly figure that this is not a beginner friendly problem and that doing it via JS is not the best solution in this case. First you'll want to look at the HTML that is generated by the macro. As you can see it is a UL with the class plugin_pagetree_children_list.…

Yes, as you can execute arbitrary JavaScript you can manipulate anything in the DOM. However it's not very advisable to vastly change HTML that other JavaScript might rely on. In the case of a Page Tree Macro it should be okay but generally you can always break functionality by manipulating HTML that is "not yours"…
-
To update a Confluence page you'll want to use the Update content REST API. To use the API you will either need to build a Connect App or generate an OAuth2 Token for your existing app. If you have questions about this you should post on the Atlassian Developer Community. :)
-
You should probably repost your question on https://community.developer.atlassian.com/ and also use the search function there. There have been similar threads about ModuleClassNotFoundException and SDK update.

Huge improvement! Can't wait. :)

The answers linked by @Manisha Kharga _Appfire_ work great if you just want to put an image. If you need more control and want an easy way of editing the header I suggest you take a look at our app Lively Theme. It also allows you to do the same for footer, custom menus and your dashboard. :)

Something not really mentioned in the threads linked by Laurens is the Marketplace app Duplicate Page Titles (Same Page Titles) by venITure which I would expect to solve your problem. :)
