thanks for the detailed description @Cory Britton...Yes, the same thing I am trying to say here is... As you mentioned in your comment you are referring individual project as a request correct? @Cory Britton What do you mean by We want to be able to stop allowing tasks to be added to requests Could you please elaborate more about Task and requests.
-
HI @Dinesh Please have a look at this add-on.
-
@Cory Britton the project will be visible only the user those have jira Admin and project admin rights. The normal user will not be visible. If you want normal user also should visible the projects then give the Browse project permission to users/roles/groups.
-
then associate this permission scheme to all the project to which you want to restrict the user from creating a task.
-
As per my knowledge ..If you are the System admin then the user who has the System/site admin only can deactivate you.
-
@Cory Britton What do you mean by is there a way to enact this across the whole portfolio? There is no automatic process for this, you need to create the permission scheme and then you need to associate with respective project.
-

Ok, no worries go to the user profile on jira cloud then change the password. As you mentioned in your comment using reset password also you…
-
Are you talking about On-premise(self-hosted) fisheye server right? There is no fisheye cloud available then why you are login to https://id.atlassian.com/login and all.
-
Are you using Fisheye for the first time? If yes then after installation of Fisheye you need to create a user with login ID and password. Once done this user will not have the admin access. For Admin access, you need to login..At the footer, you will find in Administrator link in Yellow color, click on it and then log in.
-
Are you using LDAP for user management?
-
HI @Saurabh Saxena Welcome to the community! Could you please confirm that you have been logged in as an Admin? If yes, then you should be able to see add/edit the user settings.

Sorry, there was my mistake. for on-premise instance to configure stash syntax highlighting we need to do the file modification (stash-config.properties). For cloud instance, we don't have file access so, please contact to Atlassian support they will help you on this.
