@Mike Bowen the new editor is going through a gradual rollout so it may be you haven't gotten it as your default option just yet. In the meantime you can try it in 3 places: * Blogs * Meeting Notes * A blank page template If you want to accelerate the rollout to your site you can open a ticket with support…

@Kat Warner on-premise and cloud currently use different editors with the introduction of the new cloud editor, so these changes only focused on the Confluence Cloud at the moment in the new editing experience. @Chris Newland - all features above are available now in Confluence Cloud as part of the new editor. The new…

@Cameron LaBorde-Zank you're right. We do our very best to keep everything up to date. We're adding this to the documentation as we speak.

@Dave Jennings that is a great call out! We'll add that right away. It's actually in the works so we'll be sure to let the community know once it's live.
-
That's a very valid point @Rachael Collins . We've been looking into both and essentially both levels enabled can create some clashes in settings. Ultimately being this change was mainly purposed towards the author of a page we felt the first step made sense to be at the user level, also since that's where a lot of the…

Hi all, I know it's been a long wait but we're ironing out some final kinks and you should have link-able headers available natively in the new editor within the next 2 weeks. Thanks for upvoting this and we're looking forward to releasing this very shortly. Avinoam
-
Yes @Rachael Collins ! To enable this, go on the bottom left of the nav bar to your user icon > click Settings > click Editor > click Edit > check the "Enable full-width as the default for new pages." box > click Submit.
-
@Tom Crowley link-able headers are in the release process right now. You can expect them to be available in the next couple weeks.

Hi all, Thank you so much for joining the webinar! You can now also watch it on demand here.

Quick update, based on your feedback we've added a setting that will allow you to state that you want all your new pages to open by default in full width. To enable this, go on the bottom left of the nav bar to your user icon > click Settings > click Editor > click Edit > check the "Enable full-width as the default for new…

Hi all, After adding the macro and placing your cursor on it in edit mode, do you see at the bottom of the macro a menu that allows you to change its width to wide or full width? Thanks, Avinoam
-
@Aleksnadra Klusinska that looks like the old editor where all pages full width by default.
-
@Charles unfortunately I can't correct you - yet :) In the post I tried to cover this (and other things to come) "Custom templates can’t yet be saved as full width by default. You’ll still need to set them to full width. Ideally this will change to be configurable upon a custom template creation." We'll be adding more…

@Jennifer Bonck-Furlan permissions should be the same. That sounds like a bug! Are you still seeing that behavior?
-
Hi @Trevor Edwards and @Sharon Helms , I'm a PM working on the new editor in Confluence Cloud. We're currently in the process of redesigning a new experience for the expand macro which will allow it to both nest and work seamlessly on any device. We'll absolutely let you know once it's live! Thanks, Avinoam

@Freek D_Hooge thanks for the feedback! Generally the best places to raise issues are: * Community. * Support - they can raise public bugs or suggestions for you here for tracking and upvoting.

Hi again @Michael Arndt , There are two ways: 1. Opt in your entire site to the new editor via support. 2. Opt in your new pages + templates to the new editor (I'm happy to follow up via email and help if you're interested in this option). Thanks, Avinoam
