Please keep it secret Andy, but I heard that soon you'll discover the #BookingBeaver visiting Amsterdam and the Atlassian HQ =))
-
Amazing! Everybody love the #BookingBeaver :-) -> Here you'll get more photos posted by visitors on LinkedIn
-
Amazing read for all Jira Admins! And you'll find a full page about Apwide Booking ;-)
-
The calendar embedded in the JSM request looks handy, well done! For time slots that look like Calendly, our Apwide Booking can also be a good fit. (disclaimer: I am part of the Apwide founders)

Thank you again to everyone who joined the Apptoberfest finale and to all community members who voted. The energy around the demos was incredible, and it is always inspiring to see how much creativity and passion this community brings to the ecosystem. If you have booking use cases in your teams, feel free to reach out to…

@Stephen_Lugton the Booking Beaver is our mascot, indeed =) You can find the first episode here -> https://beaver.apwide.com And I just got the confirmation there will be a third episode if we win Apptoberfest!

P.S. and for those who are looking for the Appterparty, it's in the ITSM category =)
-
Thank you @Carol Lage 😁
-
🦫 The Booking Beavers are back in a special episode: The Appterparty! Make sure you check how they’re booking the party equipment using Jira and JSM! 😂
-
Hi everyone, Apwide Booking is also joining Apptoberfest in the ITSM category! Watch our beavers booking stuff with Jira and JSM for preparing their Appterparty! > Watch the video

Hi @Kelsey Van Scoy Great news!! Am I eligible to post our Apptoberfest article, even though I have a "Community Champion" instead of an "Atlassian Partner" lozenge? Thanks in advance for your help! Cheers, David
-
Hi @Simmo Love that! So powerful when coupled with Assets! Cheers, David

Hi Andy, I've explored resource booking options quite a lot, and I've seen many people using external tools - dedicated platforms like seatsufing, spreadsheets, shared calendars, or also tools like Calendly/HubSpot/Microsoft meeting schedulers. It usually depends on: * The type of resource they book (equipment vs people) *…

@Kai Krause thanks for the highlight, I also find this feature!

From my experience, most Jira Projects (soon to be called a Spaces) represent teams or applications. In some cases, it might represent a true organizational project, but in reality, that’s quite rare. I see this as a positive change, even if some complain about the temporary impacts. Pity that there are no plans to rename…

Hi @Teresa_DevSamurai Thanks for sharing! Jira Assets is not really new. It was the Insight App by Riada/Mindville, purchased by Atlassian in 2020. Since then, it was available to JSM Premium and Enterprise customers. I've also heard some rumors it could become available to non-JSM customers too... I hope we'll hear more…

Insightful @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_ Thanks for sharing your views on Rovo! "We are actively contributing to climate change by triggering AI that doesn’t bring us any greater benefits." - Well said, that's also my feeling :( At Apwide, we've decided to stop working on our Booking Clerk Rovo Agent for the time being,…

Hi @Kaja Iske I've published the article, and it explains how you can reserve resources with Jira Free, without the need of plugins: How to implement a booking system with Jira Free Feel free to reach out if you need assistance!

Thanks for your comment @Matt Doar _Adaptavist_ For DC customers with ScriptRunner, the Version Synchroniser build-in listener can also help here.
-
Great addition! It even works with hair dryers =))

Good news, thanks for releasing this. Here's my take on the "turn emails into work items": ✅ The AI-generated summary and description? Not bad - it captured the context quite well, but phrased it like a task instead of a bug report. But it fell short on 3 important points: ❌ Didn’t copy the screenshot from the email ❌…

Hi @Thomas Fastenakel Out-of-the-box, you can only track the deployments of your Jira work items with the Deployment Jira feature. However, currently Jira does not offer a way to track the deployments of your Jira versions. I've been working with release managers for years, and we implemented this feature part of our…

Hi @Nikola Perisic Thanks for highlighting our Booking App. @Mattia Battan > I'm the product manager, so feel free to reach out to me if you need further assistance with the app. Have a nice day, David
-
Love this update! Embedding Rovo Agents into Jira automation templates makes it much easier to handle repetitive release tasks like approvals, QA handoffs, and status updates. I'm excited to see where this goes for our customers - mostly test & release managers.
-
Hi @quteiba.alsalaa In order to troubleshoot your rule, refer to the Debug an automation rule documentation article. You may need to add some Log action in your rule, in order to understand where the issue comes from. Good luck and feel free to attach debugging screenshots if needed, David

On Jira Plans, I couldn't find a way to color by scheduling. You can check "Warn me about scheduling errors in my plan" in the settings, and get the following warning signs for work items that are behind schedule: And in my experience, I've seen some of our Time Squad customers using 2 different calendars: one in normal…

Hi @quteiba.alsalaa Welcome to the community and thanks for your question. To display your work item in another column, you must update the status of your work item. You can do that based on the work item description using a Jira Automation rule: * Trigger: Field value changed (Description) * Action: Create Variable to…
