Hi @Qin Han @Marc -Devoteam- is right, you need to add a screen with the attachment field, and use this screen in your workflow transition. Your workflow configuration should look similar to this:

Hi @Monique vdB, Can I please get the permission to post articles? Thanks in advance! David
-
Hi @Christian Stadler Sorry, I’ve misread your question I noticed that you found how to expand the "Show More" menu for selecting company-managed, when creating your project from a template. Have a nice day, David
-
Hi @Zeina Byrom Indeed, child-level issues can be displayed after switching the toggle, however it will not display your sub-tasks (under your tasks). We got this sub-tasks requirement from one of our customer, and the only option was to implement the feature part of our Time Squad App. Time Squad is a paid app from 11…

Hi @Marco Baldini Welcome to the community and thanks for your question. The best would be to open an Atlassian Support ticket here. Cheers, David

Hi @Stefanie Talac Welcome and thanks for your question. You can switch your trigger to cron expression (Advanced tab) and use those examples: * 0 0 1 1,4,7,10 ? * Quarterly at 00:00 (midnight) on the 1st day of January, April, July, and October * 0 0 1 * ? * At 00:00 (midnight) On the 1st day of every month Feel free to…

Hi @Christian Stadler Welcome and thanks for your questions. In order to create team-managed projects, you'll need the "Create team-managed projects" global permission. More information Let me know if it helps, David

Hi @Leena Pratheepan According to my translation: Edit Issueℹ️ Unknown fields were specified during the edit. These might not be available for the project/issue type. Check your configuration for custom fields. Fields ignored –Summary (summary) ℹ️ No fields or field values to edit issues (possibly due to field values not…

Hi @Casian Olariu Welcome and thanks for your question. The Jira query will always run based on the current user's permissions. If you want all users to see the list of tickets part of a version, you can use the Release Notes button and either copy-paste, or save release notes as a new Confluence page. That way, you'll get…

Hi @Mariano Turcutto Personally, even though I see the "isn't fully supported" banner when browsing a JPD ticket, I still use the link feature on the mobile app. For example, when a customer opens a ticket, I can link it to the correct idea using the "is composed by" issue link. I can also browse all the other work items…

Hi @Fatima Ishaque, Welcome and thanks for your question! If you are on a Jira Premium Plan, you have access to Jira Plans (aka Advanced Roadmaps), that will give you the possibility to display Jira work items from different Jira projects. If you are on Jira Free or Jira Standard, you will need a Jira App for timelines,…

Hi @Marc -Devoteam- Thanks for your help. Hi @Kaja Iske That's because we have archived the documentation pages explaining how the Jira Automation can be configured, because it's not anymore supported, as we have added that feature in our new scheduling system. Please send me a message on LinkedIn and I'll export the…
-
@Kaja Iske > I've updated the links. I'm also working on an article explaining how to setup a booking system with Jira out-of-the-box, without Apps. The previous documentation pages were removed, because not supported anymore, but reach out on LinkedIn and I'll export them for you.

Hi @Stefan Froehlich It seems there are no smart values for this, but you can use the Atlassian API to retrieve the information. In your automation rule, use the "Send web request" action to call: GET /users/{account_id}/manage/profile (more info) Then access the result with the smart value: {{webhookResponse}} Also refer…

Hi Justin, I don’t have a perfect solution for this issue - it seems that filtering ICS feeds from Team Calendars by date isn’t supported... That said, I’ve worked on booking systems for quite some time (also using Jira issues as events), and I’d be really interested to learn more about how your setup works. Would that…

Hi @Anian Stäbler Thanks for your question: it's exactly the issue our customers were facing, and we have delivered the Booking App just for that. Your users get the list for available rooms based on the time slot they need. Right now your rooms are options in a select list custom fields, but in an upcoming version you'll…

Hi @Nicole Uschman You want the rule to block any reservation if at least one desk in the new selection is already reserved for the same time interval. Have you tried something like that? !id:[entry.id] AND Arbeitsplatz IN ([entry.Arbeitsplatz]) AND (Datum.startDate <= [entry.Datum.endDate] AND Datum.endDate >=…

Hi @lbhender There is our new Booking App, which is free up to 10 Jira users, for the use case of booking equipment. The resource pools are currently options in a select list, but soon it will be possible to select Assets in JSM. What's cool are the suggestions (so that your users see what's available) and timeline to see…

Hi @Kaja Iske Since 2025, there is an App for booking parking cards with Jira and JSM, and it was part of the Codegeist 2024 winners. It's called Apwide Booking, and I'm the product manager. The app is new, please feel free to reach out if you want to share feedback or need assistance! Have a nice day, David

Hi @Wayne Yang, There is a new App for booking devices with Jira and/or JSM, and it was part of the Codegeist 2024 winners. It's called Apwide Booking, and I'm the product manager. Feel free to reach out if you want to share feedback or need assistance! Have a nice day, David

Fair point Michael. Playbooks look great, but it would be better to hide the panel when there is no playbook.
-
That looks great, well done!
-
Great to see the timeline! FYI, our Jira Free instance (golive-int.atlassian.net) already had the new navigation for some time, and since today we got the old navigation again. Maybe because we installed JSM Standard last week? Not a big deal, but it's a bit awkward to get this rollback that we cannot revert.
-
I discovered this new feature by chance yesterday while reviewing our latest blog post! Well done Atlassian Team!
-
This feature makes perfect sense for organizations that need to restrict version management to automation and prevent people from creating or deleting versions manually. I’ve worked with many customers using our Golive App, where Jira versions are automatically created through integrations with GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins,…
-
Hi @Fabian Hollenstein Thanks for asking this question. Yes, our Golive App brings the Jira Cloud Deployment feature to Jira Data Center. You get this new panel on your Jira issues: And it goes even further, because your deployment can be linked to Jira issues AND to a Jira version: Works on both Jira DC and Jira Cloud,…

What I’ve seen at most companies is a Release Management project, with a Release issue type, having an approval workflow like the one you mention. The challenge is that these Release issues cannot have fixVersions with versions from other Jira projects. For that, I’ve seen different options: - The Release issue type link…

@Prithwish Basu thanks for sharing! I've been in contact with some organizations which had the need to also create the corresponding Jira versions and automatically update Jira versions (fixVersion field) of the related Jira tickets. We are working on a GitLab integration that will automatically add Jira versions (if they…

Thanks for sharing @Prithwish Basu I've been in contact with some organizations which had the need to also create the corresponding Jira versions and automatically update Jira versions (fixVersion field) of the related Jira tickets. A solution for that is the Golive App that provide specific GitHub Actions. That way, Jira…

Hello, Thanks for the info @Charlie Gavey For Jira users using our Golive App with the MS Teams integration, we are also going to release a new option to switch to Teams Workflows in the upcoming Golive App version (today or tomorrow). Cheers, David
